The best restaurants serving Fast food food in East of England

Although independent and now holding Trip Adviser Authority and Superstar status I would review as follows. I attended here recently to purchase a lunchtime takeaway from the drive through, it was busy with quite a long queue, my order was taken and I was asked to park up, no problems with that, my order was handed to me through the window, I had ordered a 7 up and immediately noticed that there was no straw which was a pain as I wanted to drink on the way home, I had a look in the bag and the meals were literally stuffed in the bag, chips were upside down, the dips I had ordered were missing (they forget these about half the time despite being shown on the screen and receipt) normally I just accept the omissions here as I know the staff are young and relatively low paid but generally I have always thought that McDonald's train their staff very well. This time I decided to get back in the queue again and ask for the meal to be re-done mainly because the chips had been dumped in the bag upside down and I did,nt want a cold meal. Just to make the point, McDonald's have seriously increased their prices over the last couple of years, I had just paid over £17 for two fast food lunches and what I was presented with was just not acceptable. On handing back the meal and asking for a replacement the Manager came to the window and apologised very professionally, the meal was replaced and I was given a number for a gratis meal next time to make up for the hassle of having to queue up twice. Generally the McDonald's Stanway restaurant is good. Thank you to the manageress for correcting things for me.

Worst fish & chips ever. Possibly lunch time left overs reheated. Dried out piece of cod with hardly any batter, along with chips. Disappointing cold meal; will not be going back ☹️

Brilliant and excellent value for money, nice hot food and drink, very nice staff friendly and welcoming cant wait to return.

Delicious chips, quick service and served hot. We didn’t have anything else so can comment on anything else. Will be returning when next in Yarmouth

This is for the second time when I am ordering from here and I didn’t get all the food which I ordered. I hope that next time ai will have a good experience.

Ordered 4 meals today, large cod and chips, small cod and chips, battered sausage and chips and finally savaloy and chips. Unlike normal chip shops Churchill chain has moved to boxes rather than wrapped paper and the volume of chips is very small. Boyind this process issue today's offering was poor in terms of quality of chips and fish. Tasteless/oily batter and tasteless fish. Altogether poor. Avoid more for the systematic portionissue but quality today was shockingly bad.

Awful pizza dried up no taste went straight in the bin rang up and manager hung the phone up three times eventually got a refund will go back to ordering from the one down the town

Late Thursday morning before Good Friday I attempted to buy six bagels. I was bluntly informed they weren’t selling bagels in bulk. I was rather confused as the baskets behind the assistant clearly contained what appeared to be a large number of bagels. I politely tried to ascertain if i could purchase a lesser number only to be told I could not as I was being rude! Needless to say I shall never return to buy any bagels whatsoever which is a shame as I have been a regular customer for many years.

Probably lunchtime fish and chips is better. Seems fresher than the evening portions. The chips are often slightly undercooked. Seems petty I know but why are the staff so miserable? No smiles, chats with customers. Shame as it has so much potential. Would also be nice if the owners or Managers responded to these TripAdvisor reviews. Would be if use to them to improve.

This place has closed down. Food went downhill. It has been replaced by Ravenswood fish and chips which was good quality wise but very expensive. I will have it again but just some fish and chips twice with a couple of cod roe on top was nearly £30.

for £17 we got two small jacket potatoes with okay cheese shoved into a polystyrene tray, with some ice cold garlic bread and two okay cups of diet cola. The only person there seemed about dead on his feet, and only later did anyone appear to clean the tables or actually give the lad any help. so in short, bad presentation, no customer focus, nothing interesting to put on the potatoes. James Martin, if someone with another potato fast food place set up, you would need to innovate or close.

Got my fish and chips home and opened up the box only to release a disgusting smell of absolutely rotten fish. Had to disinfect the kitchen. Avoid

Great area to share a kebab. The food was amazing and the overall service was just perfect. The meat was great and pita wasn’t soggy even though there was a lot of sauce. The prices are fair for very good portions and had a great experience with the staff.

Always order from here in evenings , great food , staff very friendly . Not sure what everyone is moaning about ? But our experience is great .
