McDonald's in Harlow

Never get an order correct always missing items, fries have far too much salt on them and when ask for them without staff are extremely rude.Tried them using a delivery service during this pandemic and again complete meals missing and when phone up, again staff are rude and say not their problem and to contact the delivery service we used, well it is there fault as they didn't place meals into the takeaway bag.Gave 1 star as no option for a zero star rating.

Staple Tye is definitely one of their better outlets. the service is always polite and friendly. The fare is always as described and the tables and toilets are spotless.

The cleanliness of the tables, floor, and toilet like the welcome is excellent. The fare is as we have come to expect, just fantastic value. Parking is easy and this is one of Mc D's better outlets.

McDonald's food is more or less the same as anywhere else. However, groups of teenagers sitting at a large table, talking loudly and swearing continuously when there are young children around is unacceptable. Two of them even commented that they work there. They were clearly not eating or drinking or eating as their table was clear. Management should take more responsibility and at least have a quiet word. Not somewhere I shall be taking my child again

At a good Mc D's you know what you should be getting and at Staple Tye, they deliver it with a smile. The coffee and crispy chicken wraps are good, as expected and the tables and floor were spotless.The service from the staff has never let the management down. They are always polite, efficient and very friendly.

There was a young gentleman serving behind the counter with a black cap and grey kfc t-shirt, didn’t get his name, who was a great help in ordering and actually made me buy a larger meal because he had such a good sales pitch! He seemed a little nervous he was quite young but did really well, even with a difficult young female customer he handled it very well and kept very professional. He deserves a shout out!

Always quick even if there is queue. Never had a problem with missing items and tellers are always polite.

It seems that McDonalds had a good decent sized budget to renovate their shop by expanding it and adding for chairs/benches.Those benches are rock hard and bolted/tucked in too close to the table.It’s just very awkward sitting on those benches and just makes the whole eating experience too uncomfortable .Table service is also speedy and so far never had any problems with the food .But shame that the whole renovation design looks all a bit Too Cold,Dull and no character at all to match McDonalds image.I’d personally sack the Designer for all future jobs .Shame ....My rating :Food 8/10Table speed Service 9/10Cleanliness 10/10Parking 10/10Seating comfortability 2/10Lighting 9/10Staff friendliness 10/10

Breakfast was really enjoyable with grandchildren computers are great to keep them busy while eating quick delivery of table service toilets were clean tidy all working and smelled nice Restaurant area was tidy tables clean washed bin areas tidy too

Collected take out. Got home to find two missing items. Contacted customer service and they offered a £5 voucher which didn't even cover the cost of the missing items. Won't be returning.

Myself and my partner and our 6 kids and grandkids went here on the 29th of December before a panto at the Showhouse and it was truly awful.Took a couple of minutes to get served and then the employee serving me was surly and disinterested. Fast Food? It took nearly ten minutes to get our food and this was after the employee had fingered almost every chip on the tray has she tried to get everything on one tray.Then I asked for sauces for the nuggets. No we haven't got any? Went back 5 minutes later as I couldn't eat the excuse for nuggets without barbecue sauce and they were unpacking sauces. I asked the employee why she had not told me they were getting some and she simply shrugged.I then spent the following morning on the toilet thanks to the poor hygiene and cold and insipid food. Thanks McDonalds. I certainly wasn't loving IT.Oh and by the way the best thing about your burgers is the gherkin.

Stopped here for a break on our way to Norfolk plenty of parking good value for money tasty food friendly staff and a well run busy outlet of McDonald’s

This place is like so many other McDonalds outlets around the country, the standard of the food is just the same. The staff are fiendly & the cost of their food & drinks are very reasonable.

The parking is easy and the tables and floor were clean. The coffee was very good and the speed of the service, plus the friendliness of the staff, is second to none.

Absolutely disgusting myself & my partner have been unwell and not eaten for days after finally getting our appetite back our elderly parents went to get us food it was freezing cold no straws with our drinks no serviettes as I work within the food industry I know what high standards are supposed to be kept very disappointed

We ordered our food and there is a different set up in here now where by you go to one counter and order what you want and then you stand in a different area to wait for your food, I’m not so sure if it was any quicker then the old way but anyhow we have eaten here quite a lot and the food is always lovely and fresh and piping hot.

I went to lunch with my daughter and used the new screens to order and have table service which was excellent. The food was only ok though as it was only marginally warm. The restaurant could have also done with a good tidy and clean which I hate to see when I’m eating there even if you are paying fast food prices

This is in a great location when on the way back from travelling, just the right place to pick up a quick meal. Just what it says on the tin, so you know what to expect.

Has a small play area inside which allows adults to consume their food in peace while children burn off some energy. Staff are very nice and keep tables clean. Best local McDonalds.

Missing Food, Aggressive staff, unclean, all the ideals of not a great restaurant; will never EVER go again.

Part of our order was missing when we got home.. shouldn't have to check order before you leave.. it should be right ...wasn't even busy ... useless...wont be going back..

Firstly we were using the drive through and it wasn't until we got to ordering that we were told the card machine was not working and we would have to use the restaurant.

Took a very long time to get through the drive thru. The food, once we got it, was very hot so clearly fresh. The staff were polite and friendly

Been here a good few times the service is good. Not much to say about the food really it is the same as all the others.

Took our children here this afternoon and was absolutely disgusted that the so called manager was wondering in and out of the kitchen touching food and drink without a hair net or hat on.All other staff member was wearing hair nets and hats and if they didn't I can 100% guarantee they would get a warning of some form.I refused to eat in here after seeing this as she was wondering around near the food with hair over all the food. Disgusting won't be eating in here if she is on shift..... needs to go and learn about hygiene with the work place.

I work in the catering business myself and was annoyed at the lack of hygiene the MANGER was showing on her shift. All the TEAM MEMBERS followed the hygiene process by wearing hair nets and hats (even the guys with the shortest hair!!!!!!) as they were handling food so you expect them to be following this process so no hair ends up in food so 10/10 to the staff. However the Manger was walking round with her blonde hair in a pony tail minus the hair net and hat and making food and drinks where hair could end up. I did ask the girl who served me as to why it's a rule for them and a rule for her and explained my concerns... the girl had the expression on her face to say she has heard this before and looked like she was also annoyed that she was now wearing hair net and hat. The Manger is tall and blonde did not catch her name. I will definitely not order food while she is on shift that's for sure as I don't want hair in my food and drink!

Always go here rather than the town or other ones. The food tastes clean, other one's chips seem to taste funny.

Staple Tye McDonald's is reliable and has a good service. Mistakes are inevitable with all fast food restaurants and they have always dealt with problems efficiently. As far as McDonalds go, it does the job well.

Pretty much like every other McDonalds around the world. Not necessarily a bad thing as you know what you are getting. Often when we use the drive through we are asked to wait as food is not ready. So we wait with hot food cooling and cold food warming while they cook a couple of items. They often forget straws and sauces etc too

It's McDonald's, who can't love a cheeky little McDonald's every now and then. Great food and a really cheap price why wouldn't u go.

Popped in before work and very surprised at just how big the place was!Using the self service screen, I placed an order in a minute or so, nice and easy process.The food took several minutes and the lady at the service desk was very polite.Overall, a good experience, the breakfast hit the spot and off I went!

Went here for breakfast and thought it eas one of the best McDonalds I have ever been in.You know what to expect from McDonalds but fhis one stood out with its cleanliness, great service and layout of ghe restaurant.Absolutely loved it here and will return next time I'm due my McDonalds fix!

You get what you pay for, you know what you are getting from McDonalds, this was fast food at its best, they were even quick at it too

A nice friendly Macdonald`s that is close to where I live. No queues so it is quick to get food. The food is good although maybe small like all Macdonald`s.

Up until recently, if I went in there on a Monday to the staple tye one, chocolate milkshake wasn't available as they were cleaning the machine

Staple Tye branch. Very clean, speedy service, and fresh food. Staff helpful and pleasant. All the family groups in there seemed to be happy, and the children can help themselves to colouring and puzzles (my granddaughter took her crayons home!) The drive-thru is fast and efficient too, and the staff polite. Great place for a quick feed up.

I feel rather embarrassed just to say that I've been here I only popped in for a coffee but full I would have a burger and was completely disgusted at myself, the place was clean and tidy the staff well not a lot I can say about them really.It's McDonald's you go there when you're hungry and when you're passing.

This has to be the worst ever McDonalds,went there on a Saturday and yes they was busy but that is no excuse,if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen.The food was so bad,sloppy and wet and cold stuff bunged in a bun even the fries were rank drooping soggy strands of mush yuk,and the milkshake was a runny mixture of I don't know what(vomit perhaps but that would of tasted better)and when you complain no one can understand English conveniently.Avoid at all costs you have been warned I have been put of McDonalds for life!

Never had issues. gets confusing what open 24hours means though when it comes to a Saturday or sunday. most places suffer that same issue though. Lidls is next door so loads to do

Which means that it is pretty much the same as every other one. We go here occasionally as it is local. It is clean and a typical Macky Dee's.

We take our son here as a treat for him, he loves it! It is always very clean and we receive fast service. The staff are friendly and they normally give our son and other children balloons, it always puts a smile on his face.

I visited recently and had a great value meal. Very clean with tables cleared quickly. Service while polite was very slow although this more the fault of the kitchen and supervisor than front of house.

Drive through always busy so I go into the restaurant where there is no queue and polite friendly staff.

I liked the look of this since it has been decorated so I thought I'd give it a go. The staff were friendly and efficient and made you feel welcome. The toilets were clean and well stocked up with essentials, you wouldn't get caught out here. Food was the usual standard you would expect with a bit too much salt on the fries. Can't they let you add your own?Before you leave check you have the right order as they can give you the wrong thing. Overall it was OK and far better than the one in Harlow Town centre. Although I will not be making a regular visit as its not my kind of food.

For me it's the local fast food, you can't expect wonders but it's not awful. the interior has been done up recently which is nice. Service adequate, but check your food as they are liable to get it wrong.

Went into eat on a busy Sunday afternoon, quick service, but food was inedible ordered chicken burgers in buns. So dry, cold and leathery.Surprised as it was very busy and expected hot just cooked food, not food that had obviously been sitting around for a while.

Fast food has a place in this world nowadays, in my view, but I only ever expect a drab service.On visiting this branch of Macdonalds, I was straight away impressed with the revamped look of the familiar chain, and then the excellent service. Not only with a small but the staff seemed genuinely interested in me, something you don't get in top end restaurants sometimes.Food was the usual thing you expect in Macdonalds but was quickly served.Great experience of what a fast food outlet should be, well done.
