I ordered food at 8.53, I was told by email my order was accepted. I waited until 10pm, tried to call and they had closed, taken my money and nobody bothered to bring my food or call me! Great thank you so much!

Great food, both the meat and vegetarian/felafel. I ordered from the website and it arrived 40 mins later. 5 stars from me.

Ordered at 7pm and it arrived around at 8:45pm after calling twice. Food was actually cold not even lukewarm, Bread was stone hard and rice were so hard to eat. Ordered from here after a long time, used to order regularly. But never gonna order again.

Ordered (via Uber eats) what I hope would be fresh food but the lamb doner that was delivered must be at least two weeks old considering how dry/rubbery it tasted. No point in adding any notes to your order because they’ll not bother other it. Also, a third of what’s advertised on Uber eats they actually don’t have. No heart in the services they provide, just take the money and move to the next victim. Would recommend you avoid these lot.

I hate cheese but had to order it. Don’t order burgers from here unless you love love love cheese.

We regularly get family takeaways and it’s always excellent Very good size portions, nicely cooked and presented- even for takeaway. We always have the chicken thighs and they never disappoint Reasonable priced too!

Is it so hard to give fresh chips with the meal? Burger was really nice but the chips was cold and really bad.. it was cold and re-fried.

Portion sizes are ridiculously small and the food doesn’t arrive with sauce or salad as you’d expect from any doner takeaway. Very disappointed and won’t be ordering from them again. Such a shame because the food actually tastes fine - portions are just a joke though.

Ordered at 7pm was told at 8pm its on the way. Called again at 8.30 was told its on the way. Arrived lukewarm at 8.40 but chips were missing. Called back and told chips would be sent. Called at 9.20 as still no chips asked for a refund. 9.25 chips arrived we refused to accept and asked for a refund. Wonder how long that will take. Absolutely disgraceful service. Paid cash as well. So disappointed in the lack of service and the food.

Delicious take away. Lamb ribs, rice, salad and dips. The ribs in particular were very flavourful and tender. All perfectly cooked/prepared to order. Highly recommend.

Absolutely disgusting food and very rude staff. I would never order from here again. I found a dead spider in my food and the staff including the manager was extremely rude to me and refused to refund my meal. I used to eat here regularly but after that experience I would never order again.

Was our regular Turkish place to go to for years, however there was a problem with our order and the staff were incredibly rude, unhelpful and frankly just didn’t want to know and said it was our problem. Non existent customer service even towards repeat customers. We will not be returning.

Driver was late and had given half our order to someone else, they returned much later with lukewarm food and hardly any filling in the wraps. Then they couldn't be bothered to answer my many emails. They used to be superb until they changed owners.

Best take away food I had :) so clean inside and we got the food in separate boxes salad,meat and even bread pita with oil and red pepper! Well done team 👏 keep up with the good service and of course fair price for all the food we got :) x

Fantastic! Delicious fresh food, generous portions, piping hot! This takeaway never disappoints. I have the lamb shish that comes with rice, salad and Turkish bread. You can choose what goes in your salad which is a nice touch. If you want a really good meal I can absolutely recommend this place. The staff are lovely and the food even arrives on time! Enjoy!

We ordered our food at 6.15 this evening. After 3 phone calls and 2hrs 15minutes later we still have no food. Staff answering the phone were not helpful and just made excuses that made no sense!!! First time attempting this place as it was recommended to us. We will certainly never be attempting to order here again.

We didn't even get the last order we placed. It was 45 minutes late and we couldn't get through on the phone to query or cancel. It's a real shame as we've used them for a few years now and the food is generally good. The portions sizes have definitely gotten smaller in the past 6 months but the costs have gone up. I would seriously consider someone else for delivery, or go to collect the order yourself - that is a nightmare in itself as it won't be ready when you turn up anyway

Food took hour an half to come, was barely warm an tasted rough. The standards an service has gone downhill. This is the second time this has happened. Save your money an your time

Ordered on line at 19:00, food due at 20:10, phoned at 20:20 to ask where delivery was, told it was on its way, delivery arrives at 20:48, Luke warm, missing items, phone restaurant to be told they will ensure it’s resolved on the next order. Never ordering from this place again, not the first time this has happened but foolishly gave them the benefit of doubt and tried again.

Take out - quality, flavour and incredible value! One of the best meals I’ve had. Salad was fresh and full of crunch and flavour and meat (lamb and chicken) was excellent quality, tender and plenty of it not just 3 pieces.

The food is excellent - if it arrives. Had to wait two hours for deliveries on the last two occasions. Order food from here (it's good) but collect it yourself if you can. Their deliveries are rubbish.

I used to order from these guys almost 3 or 4 times a week. Considering the thousands I spent over the years, you would expect politeness especially when they messed things up. Instead an utterly rude person who hung up on me last time I called. Also portion size halved. I'm so glad I found somewhere else who values me as a customer.

We have always really enjoyed the food from here but our most recent delivery was very disappointing and not the high standard that we have come to expect. Sadly very disappointing on this occasion.

Every single time I’ve ordered online I’ve had to wait over an hour for my food. Wouldn’t recommend.

There is very little point in selecting a delivery time when it is ignored. I had to phone twice to see where my order was which was placed at about 5pm for delivery at 7.10pm only to be told sorry. When the food did arrive about 40 mins late it was reasonable but cold. Would not order from here again.

Well what can I say we was looking forward to our treat for the end of the week and it did not dissapoint. food was lovely and hot. delivered on time and had the taste we was hoping it was going to have. lovely grilled meats, bread and braised rice. highly recommended. thank you Garden Grill

Just ordered a combination kebab (chicken and lamb shish) on-line. As part of the 'Special Request', I asked if the rice could be swapped out for chips. When we received our order there was no chips, so I called GG only to be told that they do not swap out rice for chips, if we want chips we will have to pay an additional £3! So basically, we paid best part of £22 for some meat, salad and bread! As I said to GG, what they should have done is call us or make it clear that our 'Special Request' doesn't always mean you are going to get yr request. Lovely bits of meat, it was enjoyable what we had but disappointed that GG feels chips are a bigger, more expensive commodity than rice.😪

Disgusting customer service. Placed an order at 7:30pm, was told upto an hours wait. 2 hours later still no food, was told it was out for delivery. We called 20mins later and was told again it was out for delivery. Called again and the girl hadn't muted the phone, could clearly hear her talking to someone else, she had no idea what she was talking about said the food was out for delivery again, then asked our address. So we said can we just cancel please, our night is ruined. The girl hung up the phone, no apology. Disgusted in the lack of customer service. Do not reccomend, will not use again!!!!!

Have ordered from garden grill for takeaways a few (maybe too many) times over the past couple years, I use just eat for this but they do have an app, I just prefer just eat in case I encounter a problem, goes for any takeaway I order! My go to order is the chicken shish - The Turkish bread is always really tasty, The dips compliment and the chilli sauce is hot! I love the salad boxes, I’m always digging out the red onion in the base to use to make my own Turkish bread and chicken salad wraps! Recently we tried one of their sharing platters for 4 of us, it was very good value, and it fed 4 hungry adults! The selection of different meat was a nice change to my usual chicken shish! The chicken doner meat was succulent (Worked great with my DIY chicken salad wrap!), the ribs were insane and the wings a real tasty side! Looking forward to my next garden grill fix! :)

A regular customer who had an issue with an order. Initially asked what I would want…obviously the right order but then not trusted and they asked for the food back - maybe to give to the next customer. I have been to this takeaway many times and the food is good but the customer service is appalling - when the food came again they gave it incomplete which I called about and they said they had run out. No apology and the lady on the phone has lost another customer. NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered food more than 2 hours ago, first time they called us after an hour and a half to check if food was delivered-when I informed them that it hasn't been delivered they said they will check. I have then called twice to check myself - they informed me it will be about 15 minutes, it's been more about an hour and food still hasn't arrived. Disapointed with delivery service!!!

4th delivery in about 2 weeks… should’ve given up after the 3rd… but the food is good! Get an order, tick off the items & put in the bag! Surely it’s not that difficult! This time… 2 main courses without 2 salads! 1 requested without rice… yes, came with rice! Enough is enough. Called everytime in the past & missing items were all delivered promptly… that’s not the point! This time.. the 4th, called & told them of their error but clearly stated I did not wish for them to rectify, as they’ve had enough chances in the past….. this is from a takeaway & their currently successful restaurant that they wish to expand further!!! Food is good, although not once delivered correctly! Delivery guys good. Things delivered accurately…the worst I’ve ever known! Take note of my picture… ribs with no rice!

We waited 2 hours for our food to be delivered, even though we was told an hour? We was also told multiple times that the delivery would be “1 min” we called the restaurant 4 times to have the same conversation with different staff members who were all extremely rude!! - “not our problem” was used on the last conversation! Which was shocking! - the food arrived cold, and after finally talking to the manager we got the food for free, which makes business sense seeing as it would have been sent back otherwise! But even that was a struggle!!- the food was ok reheated, but the staff and the driver were extremely rude and left a very bad taste in all our mouths…. To the manager: you need to put all the people who are representing your company through some form of customer service training - with the attitude they currently have, you will 100% not see the business grow the way it should, as the food you provide is usually at a very high standard!….

Really 3 or 3.5, but decided on the more generous 4 due to past orders & experiences. Not overly impressed… but to be perfectly honest & fair, I’ve had the food from here on several occasions & everytime had a quick punctual service & with good food to boot (albeit too much salt!) however, the last time I wanted to order, I had no cash, So I called & requested to add on more than just the ‘1’ pound included in the delivery cost…. After all, I always tip well (especially after spending a lot of time in America, where salaries are pretty much based on tips!), but no… they do not take cards over the phone & do not have the facility to add on for the delivery driver! So, either order over phone with cash on delivery, or order on-line with card payments with no facility to tip! Not good enough. Please sort out your system to reward the delivery guys when customers request it. I regularly order from a local Thai & always add on about £5 for the driver… this not only never seems to be a problem, but is always reviewed with enormous gratitude (even though the restaurant itself isn’t actually benefiting). So, just 2 small tweaks - change your payment system so delivery drivers can be rewarded & hold back on a bit of salt - then you’ll get 5.5 out of 5 for every meal… just like Ermans - your sister restaurant. Please learn from this… after all, the customer is always right!

I called and made an order for delivery at 8.40pm and was told delivery would be 10.11 I called and asked if I could pick up and was told yes at 10, which I said ok deliver then, 10.30 pm Im still waiting....... can't get hold of garden grill so I phoned Ermains and spoke to he most RUDE staff who said not their problem, they could offer us 50% discount??????? I replied I'm starving so what are you going to do, their response was to leave us laughing on hold on the phone!! We order from this restaurant a lot in the past but the way we have been treated tonight is disgusting and un professional!! Unfortunately the management could be bothered to talk to us so the waitress decided to leave us on the phone and not bother talking to us laughing in the background!! We will now NEVER order from here again and I will be calling tomorrow for a full refund AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!! If the management read this review and have the decency and take the time to contact or reply to this review I would be very grateful as a long serving customer!! Lets wait and see................

I was waiting 2 hours for my food. Rang the restaurant who told me the food was on its way after an hour. The phone was then off the hook so we couldn’t even ask them for updates. Absolutely shocking service. We won’t be ordering from them again!

I love the food here yh sometimes the wait is a bit long but well worth the wait the only thing I can complain about is the abuse and rudeness of some of the customers towards the staff they are all lovely and polite

Food 5 stars, Customer service 1 Star!!! Ive eaten from here a number of times and the food is really tasty. They are really busy and I know there will be a wait involved BUT after tonight I'm not so sure. I placed an order and was told it will be 15 minutes. 45 Minutes later the food was no where in sight, when I asked how long the reply was "we are waiting on the donor meat" with no time given. No one is hungry this late at night and to top it all they don"t even apologise they just shrug their shoulders. Maybe they need to go on a customer service course or something. I cancelled the order got my money back and now totally starving.

Best kebab I’ve had down south!

Just moved into the area so gave them a try. Was told they were too busy to put chips in my wrap even if I paid for a whole portion. Great service! Food arrived but was missing a meal. Replacement didn’t arrive for over an hour later. Told they would refund us but we’re still waiting. Terrible customer service. Wouldn’t go again.

Got order in good time but no bread, that came 1/2 hour after the rest of the meal. By then we'd already eaten it. The rest of the meal was ok but chips were cold. First time tried these, sorry but won't be trying it again.

We’ve been ordering a mixed meat platter for two for over a year now. At first it was £18.00. Then they ramped it up to £19.50 which was still acceptable for the amount of food you received. When ordering tonight and calling up for our usual, I was told that they had changed the menu and now they called it a Mixed Grill Sharing platter and upped the price to a whopping £25.90!!! They claimed that on top of the usual meat they had added some chicken doner and it would now feed 2-3 people instead of just two. Well that was a completely misleading. When we opened it we found that it was no bigger than the original dish and they had reduced the amount of lamb doner to include the chicken doner. I’m sorry to say that we felt royaly ripped off. So I’m afraid that with that ridiculous price increase and the lack of anything extra to show for it, I’m afraid they’ve now lost me and my friends as customers. I’m so fed up with companies who’ve seen it’s customers this year as cash cows to increase their profits when most of us had financial restraints.

Delicious as always... until tonight. Had to wait for doner wrap even though phoned through my order, but not too long. Got it home to find out it was stone cold, hardly any meat and hardly any salad. No red cabbage at all. Probably won't use again. Has it got new management?

We have used garden grill many times I the past and have nothing but praise for the good food and prompt delivery . Unfortunately we have had a bad experience. We have had waited over two hours for our food and it turned up incorrectly . I reported the incorrect delivery and was told they would sort it straight away still waiting.

Worst place in Harlow - ordered online and was told 1 hour delivery. 1 hour and 20 minutes pass and I call to check. I am on the phone 10 minutes waiting just to be shouted at and given a terrible attitude. This isn’t the first time. I wouldn’t advise food to anyone.

I hardly write reviews BUT ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! First time ordering from this resturant. They said it'll take an hr for the food to be delivered. I called asking where my food is because they were an hr and a half late at the time. The lady said she'll find out and left me on the phone for more than 3 minutes then she just hung up. I called back and this guy was very rude to me stating they are very busy and they are running late with everyone. I asked if you're busy, then why take on more orders. He refused to answer my question and continued to repeat that they are busy..It took over 2 hours to receive my food and not one apology from any of them I spoke to.. I'll never order from there again!!

We have ordered on a few occasions. The food takes longer to arrive than specified. The food is dry, lacking in certain foods, it’s always been very disappointing. We have More bread than meat, chicken etc. Always plenty salad 🙄 I would avoid this take away. Not worth the cost at any rate. Sad to say. Expensive..... I would avoid

The food delivered was all really good, but it was half an hour late and cold! I had to microwave it! Also, avoid the chilli sauce as despite the rest of the food being good, this was horrible, cheap and nasty sauce from a bottle. A shame as the meal could have been so nice. Removed another star as the same thing happened again. Never again

Staff very friendly and my meal was cooked very efficiently I ordered a Large Lamb Adana Kofte Wrap with Chilli Sauce, salad and a portion of chips for £11.50Price wise this is the higher end of the scale for sure and matches prices of that of high end Mangal restaurants up London.Did the food reflect the price - sadly no and this is whyThe wrap itself was two large Tortilla Wraps, these get soggy and gummy very quickly to the point where the kebab breaks apart. I ended up unwrapping the whole thing and throwing these away. A proper Turkish flatbread is needed for this type of wrap in my opinionThe chilli sauce, is not homemade, its a bottled brand that I found overly sweet and quite vinegary in taste and overwhelmed the lamb.The salad, was fresh but unfortunately this chilli sauce had been smothered all over it meaning that it got very soggy and not very pleasant to eat so was put to one side. The lamb had a nice flavour, nice smoke notes from the Charcoal it was cooked over, but was quite tough and chewy for some reason. It was perfectly edible and enjoyable but not a high end Kofte that the pricepoint suggests.The chips were hot, crispy and tasty - no issues at all.All in all was this worth the money - sadly when I compare these to Managal Takeaways in Central London who charge the same price they are just night and day apart so I would have to say no it isn't. If the price was lower to match the food quality I couldn't have any complaints. I'm not trying to be negative but i would suggest making your own in house chilli sauce and upgrade the Tortilla wraps. Small changes would take this from being an average meal to something really really good and something I'd happily pay for week in week out. Until then I dont think ill go back personally but I would recommend ppl to try this place and judge it for themselves. One of the better kebabs in Harlow for sure but the competition isn't exactly high im afraid. 3 stars from me.
