Mcdonald's in Harlow

I usually finish work around 0330, and fancy a milkshake.....the machine is always "broken" at night, works fine during the day though.....

Works well. Food is always good even when busy.

I tool my son I wouldn't eat in here if you paid me.

I ordered food, it's been 1 hour and I still haven't had food, I don't recommend it, don't give calm food order

Looks like an old converted pub from the outside, very big and full of space on the inside The food was good and didn't take too long to wait either

It's McD's, it's standard, nothing particularly stands out, but when something is wrong, it smacks you in the face. We used the table service option, ordering from a screen. It took a while as 2 of the 3 orders were customised, when it arrived the cutlery and salad dressing was missing, I followed the employee that had served us to the counter, advised what was missing, to be told she was now on online deliveries, and I needed to queue to talk to the main counter.... which I did, while watching her do exactly nothing.... customer service level 0 Food was OK, certainly won't recommend the Cheesy Burger.... when you customise it removing lettuce, they hardly put any cheese sauce, making it a very dry burger. Update review.... haven't eaten in much since last review, but can say that on CnC orders, they always forget something.... usually dips for nuggets, or the worst one is when you actually order and pay for ketchup, for them not to put in bag....

It was a 24hrs drive throught service . I picked up my daughter from Stansted airport as she's an Air hostess and she needed some food. Her flight landed 1.30am.

It's mcdonalds. It did its job when we needed it.

They bring me wrong food to me that not my food which is I place the ordered im not happy with it

Great experience, clean environment, helpful staff, good value. Plenty if space between tables. Care required on entry due to cars queuing for drive through.

Does what it says on the tin! Although I had the Orea McFlurry for the first time and it was incredible!

Every time I've ever used this McDonald's I have to park up and wait for quite some time.

A very busy restaurant. The usual mc Donald s convenience and standard, but expect long queues for drive through as well as eat in. Plenty of parking though.

App never works so can never redeem point, staff never can figure it out- happened 5 times in a row. Service also super slow, always have to park up. Clearly can’t cope with Deliveroo volume

You buy a milkshake and you get a half filled cup because they've whipped it up to be half air.... What a waste of money not to mention the cup never reaches the full mark... Quit ripping me off!

Great McDonald's experience with children, would be nice if they had an outdoor play area, seen in another McDonald's. Very improved now taken over car phone warehouse shop. Food hot and good.

Delivery is fast but you'll probably get given the wrong order and the drinks are usually half emptied into the bag.

Mcdonalds quality has gone down in my opinion. For the price, its not amazing quality or portion. The veggie burgers used to be more flavourful and the fries portion larger. Milkshakes are very good though. It doesn't taste bad, it tastes mediocre and doesn't satisfy the hunger. Fills ur stomach a little.

This time was good but last Saturday night we had no fries even though we ordered fries with our meals

We went to Staple Tye McDonalds and it was actually hotter in the restaurant than outside. Very uncomfortable. Will not go back .

Much more cleaner than the McDonald's at Oaks Retail Park in Harlow & better managed. The parking here is 90 mins and signs are clear. Oaks Retail Park have white stickers on all the signs and customers unaware of 2 hour limit as they go around B & Q, Iceland, Home Bargains etc as it's not just McDonald's there are being harassed by UK Car Park Management Ltd (CPM) for their illegally issued parking fines. No-one can stop this scandal!

Normally have a good experience here food is always nice however had a bad experience with Smaida today- pressured me into doing a survey and then took my phone and ticked all the good options and put her name to recommend! When our food came she wouldn’t leave when we said we would complete it later and just gave us dirty looks we then got her to leave and she stood watching us from afar with a sour face. Made me so uncomfortable and harassed they are normally so good in there

Fast service big seating area. Carpark is a bit rubbish tight and a que to get in and out. Can back up and block the roundabout.

Order wrong yet again ordered a mc crispy, and got a spicy one. Don't want it. I didn't ordered it, don't want it. Another £10 wasted the double cheese burger cold 😫 wet cold 🍟

Shocking, worse mc donalds I've ever been to never the correct food, always food missing, then when you get a delivery it never turns up, or when it turns up it's freezing cold

At take a way , I had to repeat 3 times the order ,as they where not capable to take it and then I had to wait 20 minutes to get the order! 2 days ago the employee Mia that takes the order outside ignored our car and went to the car behind us and acted very rude .....will not order again from them.and will not recommend!

Not 24 hour as claimed. Every time I go there at night I just get told no service because systems are down. This happened 3 times so far so I won’t be trying again at night.

Food was hot (for a change). The staff were friendly and were cleaning the trays every time someone emptied them into the bins.

Order was delivered on time and all items accounted for. Decent food made well.

I have been waiting in drive through for 15 minutes for then to be told the systems are down and I must wait a fewer 15 minutes. If I was told this when I arrived I would have gone elsewhere but now everywhere in a 8 mile radius is closed. I have not been offered any form of compensation, not even extra fries for my inconvenience. Now I've been here 37 minutes and the manager is no help at all.

My food was cold and didn’t eat it because how late it turned up

Great food. However just avoid using the order to parking space thing as I've waited 20 minutes OK 2 occasions for my food with other people going through the drive through getting priority over me.

Wish the steak stack was still available that was excellent...

May at click and collect was the most helpful worker and provided great customer service, with a lovely smile :)

No open 24h. You must sit in the car and wait in 45min-queue before you can order leftovers...

I went at 1am I got 2 quarter pounder deluxe meal 20 nuggets and 2 apple pies meat was extremely dry like the meat was sitting there for days burger was sloppy and falling out apple pie was 15 minutes out of discard time person at the window didn’t open the window to greet me which I found rude

Great place staff all so friendly. Only downside to this mc d is the waiting on the roundabout it is dangerous.

Officially the smallest burger in the uk. We were asked to park up nearby as food was not ready for drive thru - wasn't worth the wait.

Went through the drive through and orders two frappes and a share box of cheese bites. Got home to see that I have only been given 5 cheese bites but charged 12 pound.

Just used oaks retail park harlow at 3.30 am this morning and it was the most best cooked, most amazing food I've ever had from mcdonalds, in the daytime the food and service doesn't compare to the nightstaff and the service and food they produce!! Top stuff guys

The food is McDonalds food - so it is what you are expecting. Main issue is that the 24 hour service - IS NOT 24 hrs. I finish work between 2 - 3 am every night. I am absolutely famished and cant be bothered to cook, so I pop to McDonalds The Oaks retail Park Harlow, as it is the only local one open 24 hours. But I roll up and am constantly told "We can't take orders as we reset our system. It will be at least half hour" - the same thing every time. So they are open but not taking orders......so what's the point of being open? Either stop the false advertising of a 24 hour service (trading standards issues there) or stop resetting your d*mn system......

the burger was good but the chips were undercooked and cold. the coffees were spilt , one was empty. no sugars included, shame.

Ordered at the drive-through speaker with difficulty. Went round to pay had to repeat the order again. Shift leader, I presume, said that they are new. Please train staff with confidence before you release them on the tills at peak times. Only two cars in the queue then asked to park up. Why is it a burger.

We don't go here often, but when we do, you can bet your life they will get the order wrong despite reciting back to you what you've ordered.

Don't visit often, not a favourite food, the burgers mainly seem to be the first food on the tray and then the wait for the rest, sitting down to lukewarm food.

Best McDonald’s I’ve had in ages.

Driver had no idea where he was going. I left comments for drive explaining where I was and even when he phoned I tried to direct him but he had no clue where he was the bag he had the food in was wide open, my food is stone cold!!!!

I used to work there back in the eighties when Mcdonalds was a fast food restaurant. It is far.from.that now but the food is still great when you eat in.

Absolutely terrible placement of cheese! I have experienced this on many occasions. I suggest the chef takes cheese placement training before he continues to work here.

Worst mc donalds I've ever been to. Every single time I use for takeaway, they miss stuff off my order, get things wrong. They put a christmas toy in my daughters happy meal in march. They've forgotten straws, sauces, literally everything. Staff are awful.

The food quality is rank here, it is all processed junk and even worse for kids

It's food done almost quickly, but still good when in a rush. It will fill you up well enough. The restaurant is clean with a large seating area, no picturesque views being in an industrial estate. Toilets are clean. Seagulls in the car park make for great entertainment!

I ordered a small meal , cheeseburger small chips and mini McFlurry, I ordered extra cheese, didn’t even get a single cheese slice for a cheeseburger, no sauce, food arrived very cold couldn’t even eat it , only ate the McFlurry

hit chocolate was literally just water, no hot chocolate flavour whatsoever.

Was okay, clearly a popular location. All drinks were unavailable (you could have bottled or Oasis). Lady taking and checking codes which was fine. Food hot. No dip!!
