Beccles Kebab And Pizza in Waveney

Unfortunately I won't be ordering chicken donner again, I ordered a wrap. It was cold and hard. Understandably it was near the end of the night. However they should definitely take more pride in the food. Delivery Driver was lovely and friendly, greeted with a smile and the man on the phone taking my order was okay. But the food was a disappointment. Hard chicken and hard chips ☹️

Driver couldn't find me had to bring rods in and go find him myself... Joke and food was cold

Very late .. food not good my 4 year old had some chicken which was not fully cooked and pizza was burned also item missing

We waited 1hr 50minutes for our order. All our food was cold. Chicken bites were dry. Chips stale. Chicken kebab was dry and didn’t taste good. And to top it off, the vegetarian pizza (ordered for a vegetarian) wasn’t cut up had ham all over it. We will not be ordering from again.

Worst. Service. Ever. After a 2 hour wait for pizza delivery the restaurant suddenly cancelled my order via Just Eat. When I called to ask what happened I got told the following: "My boss told me to cancel it, he went to try and deliver and he couldn't find you, and he also said it was too far". I had no phone calls. I think he couldn't be bothered. When i asked to speak to "boss" he was not available. To add insult to injury, I'm diabetic and my blood sugar was dropping while I spent two hours waiting, they could have spared me the two hour wait. Pathetic.

Lots and lots of cheese but the other toppings were sparse. It was okay, but I've had much better.

2 burnt pizzas, chicken nuggets was hard and rubbery. original delivery time 3.45 then changed to 4.15 then changed to 4.50pm

Sent the wrong pizza, got the orders mixed up. I phoned and they were great and sent me the correct pizza, had to wait another half hour. The second pizza was dreadful. It was cold, the dough was dry and hard, tasted like it had been warmed up.

On ordering my food I didn’t receive what I ordered when I asked for what I ordered they just argued with me multiple times I then asked for a refund on my food and they continued to argue with me they then proceeded to swear abuse at me and hung up I ordered a chicken kebab and got shredded old chicken off the legs as meat was dark don’t even think a dog would have eaten it completely inedible and won’t be going back for more abuse

order chicken supreme, got no onion or mushrooms or green peppers, just chicken and cheese, and my friend prder lamb done and chicken donner kebab, no lamb just chicken no salad nothing, absolutely bad performance from these guys

All food ordered was very dry. Chips were dark brown overcooked and stale.

I’ve ordered from these guys for a year and every thing has been top class until the last 2 orders. the sides and other meals were great as usual however the pizzas have been so over done. the cheese is so overdone the chicken is sharp and scratched the inside of my mouth. There is no part where the cheese is soft and melted every bit of cheese is crispy. Not sure if it’s a new cheese mix or what but won’t be ordering pizza from them for a while

Food arrived a little later than the delivery window, so the food was warm at best. Despite this the food was good, this is my favourite kebab in my area so I’m rarely disappointed with the actual quality of the food. Chips were a bit soggy, but was to be expected sitting in a hot container for half an hour during the delivery window. They still tasted fine in the end.

Beccles Kebab from my experience is great, they are very friendly and great people. Their food never misses.

The chips were very cold and very crunchy and very stale

the chips and chicken poppers were a little oily, it looked as though they may have been fried in old oil as were very dark. asides from that fairly good. salad didn't seem too fresh but may have been due to delivery, would suggest packaging the salad separate go the hot kebab for deliveries in future.

Pizzas were warm and the 9” was a thick crust, not thin. I’m not sure if I ordered the wrong crust type or not as the order details didn’t say. Twenty minutes late is quite a lot really especially as we pay extra for delivery.

Absolute dive, rude staff, waited 10 minutes before anyone come to the counter, muttering under there breath, avoid.

I don't normally leave a feedback. but this was not good enough. food was wrong, phoned to request the correct food. then had to wait another 45 mins. the correct food was cold. you would think that if they made a mistake, they would want to sort it asap. obviously not. 👎

Been coming here for years, great food served pretty fast. They are also on just eat an do delivery options. Very good value for the amount of food you get and would definitely recommend paying them a visit.

Sadly the takeaway,has slowly become take the p##s. Been using them for around 2 years, delivery not collection. Of recent,i have found we are being short changed. Mixed kebab is minus chicken now,same price though. And on top of delivery charge,there is a 20p bag charge,and 50p admin fee? Wtf Seriously! Do one people,no more business from me!

We ordered food for 6 people to be delivered, a mixture of kebabs, scampi, chicken and sides. It arrived hot and fresh and was very tasty. Good value for money too.

Doner was crusty and dry and burger was over cooked to the point I cannot eat. Not impressed at all. Would like a refund.

Staying in motorhome at Waveney River Centre, food delivered hot in half hour at reception, decent prices for top takeaway, will use again when holidaying in Beccles

What can I say about this place? Firstly don't be put off by the bad reviews (that's not saying that those reviews aren't true of their experiences) they must have caught them on a bad day. The service was spot on and the guy serving couldn't have been friendlier. The food was excellent definitely in the top 5 kebabs I've had in the whole country and I have a kebab wherever I go. I've only scored 3 stars for atmosphere cos.... its a kebab shop lol. Thankyou guys top holiday kebab!
