The best restaurants serving Fast food food in England

From the many many reviews we have written in our lives, my wife and I have never written a negative one until now. If we could give a '0' rating to this Subway, in Turner Rise Retail Park, we would. My wife ordered a Steak and Cheese Sub and was very excited to add on lettuce, tomato, onions, jalapeños and cucumber (which has always been a highlight of being able to order from Subway). However, when her sandwich came out of the oven, the man who made it began to immediately put it in a bag. When she asked him to add the other items to the sandwich, he replied "No. It comes with these onions and cheese." She looked at him in shock and said "Wow! Are you kidding me?" AND he responded "No" and continued wrapping the sandwich without any of the other ingredients I politely asked for. We have been ordering from Subway for years and years and have never been told we could not have the salad items to put on the sandwich we ordered - until today! The man who made her sandwich at 2.30pm today (28th Jan 24) was rude and blatantly told her "No" when it would have only taken him less than 10 seconds more to add the extra items. INCREDIBLY POOR SERVICE AND WE WILL NEVER COME TO THIS SUBWAY AGAIN and it has actually now cast a shadow over the whole Subway experience for us.

Rude people. Bought me the wrong food. Never offered to bring me different food. Will never use again. 40 pound on the wrong order..please stay away from.these

With a little tweak here and there this very clean chip shop could be very good. We ordered from there at about 12pm today and ordered a steak pie and chips and hot chilli sauce and chips. The chips were freshly cooked according to the young gentleman serving but when we got them home, about a ten minutes drive, they were very soggy. My chips and chilli sauce were served in paper too! The pie( pictured) was definitely reheated on a few occasions as the lid was rubbery and the innards were dry..... I know these places fight hard to keep going and put long hours into it but you cannot serve rubbish like that and get away with it. Will not return! Visited 5th of December 2024

Ordered off uber eats at just gone 5pm food arrived at just before 7pm When I called I was told I lived far away (just over2mile) missing items all cool to cold paid for a chicken strips meal for £7.50 got 3small strips and a tiny amount of chips All in a tiny box that melted Total rip off , many many better take aways in Bolton

Couldn't be more stupid if they tried!!! Ordered and selected pay by cash. Driver brings food and says its already been paid for. So were honest and tell him bill needs to be paid. Driver doesn’t have change and apparently cant bring change back either as thats clearly a challenging difficult request!!! So takes food away. WTAF!!!!

I feel so sorry for the three people on staff when I visited yesterday (well I feel sorry for two of them). One was trying to serve food and take orders at the same time leaving a queue of people waiting for several minutes to even place an order and even longer to then receive the food. Another was in the kitchen and was clearly pretty flustered trying to keep up. The man I presume was the manager seemed to be wandering around doing absolutely nothing before he finally started taking order to take some pressure of the poor man at the counter. When I finally got my food it was very nice so I can't fault them on that, but every time I've been it's been a similar result. The staff seem miserable and honestly I don't blame them one bit. Guys, please hire more staff and work on your organisation. Not only will the ratings go up but your own staff will be happier.

Ordered a delivery. The drink,sides and "sub"were completely wrong. The sub was cold and not toasted,the 500ml sugar free pepsi was 375mm full sugar. Chrisps and cookie missing. Refund refused

This is our go to takeaway because it never disappoints, we regularly mix up the choices and have always been happy, the portion sizes are ample and the food tasty, worth a try 😊

Have massively improved,been a Chichester resident for years and this was always an okay place But being very limited kebab wise in Chichester went between here and charcoal grill Don’t no if new owners or if they have just upped there game Last two meals from these have been excellent Got a sauce wrong,but owner sent a new kebab straight away and delivered himself Was well cooked and bacon was crispy Great place please continue

Cada vez que pido comida de Uber, nunca recibo toda la comida que he pedido. Nunca y las patatas fritas no son agradables en absoluto. Realmente necesitan arreglar

6 pcs of chicken but found 2 were chicken carcasses with just a few scraps of meat, otherwise just bone, 2 dry breast cuts and 2 drummers, no thighs. Uber Eats driver took only 4 minutes to deliver but it arrived cold and no napkins were provided. Chicken coating doesn’t have much flavour and it was quite soggy. Overall not worth the money and won’t order here again. A generous 2 stars.

Breakfast absolutely awful! We had a double sausage and egg muffin absolutely awful the egg was like rubber! Also a bacon and egg muffin also dreadful! This is not food! It should not be served!
