macdonalds in Bolsover

Breakfast absolutely awful! We had a double sausage and egg muffin absolutely awful the egg was like rubber! Also a bacon and egg muffin also dreadful! This is not food! It should not be served!

Half the time it's perfect. Other times they forget things, dont make the correct products I ordered (When I customise burgers for example) and sometimes it's straight up nasty and cold. When it's good it's really good though

We come here a lot, they are speedy and accurate most of the time. They did mix up the coffee lids yesterday and instead of taking a big mouthful of latter (cooler as milky) and it was cappuccino, so burnt my mouth and throat 😂😂. 9 times out of 10 the the orders are great.

Called in for a quick bite, wish we hadn’t. The fries were hot but the burger seemed like it probably sat out for a while, luke warm but I ate it anyway, I was that hungry. The apple pie was cold and the discard time was 50 minutes before I had ordered the food. I politely returned it to the counter to be told that the time marked on it doesn’t matter, and they are fine cold. Why would I order a hot apple pie unless I want it hot. The chap then asked if I wanted a replacement, the cold out of time one or something different. I asked for a replacement and was told they would cook one then. It all seemed to much trouble and I won’t be returning if that’s there attitude.

Away from home, so another town another McDonald's. Breakfast this time was ordered via the robot til. Double sausage egg mcmuffin, hash brown and a flat white coffee for just over £4, pretty good value. The service was fast and pleasant by a human. Good place, getting out of the car park can get busy.

Service was good, but the food was awful. We ordered a cheeseburger and chips, it arrived, the chips were cold and the burger warm. Complained and they chips were replaced, but guess what, a few chips on the top of the box were hot, the rest we believe were what we had returned.

Visit this particular McDonalds on a regular basis - often just for coffee but occasionally for a quick bite to eat. Usual McDonalds fayre but the regular staff here make a big difference. Friendly and efficient,the place is run efficiently and kept very clean & tidy.

All we stopped for was a coffee and a milkshake. Somehow the coffee was terrible; I don't know how seeing as it is made by an automated machine. The banana milk shake tasted salty near the end. I am hoping that it is Salt and not that I am gonna have contracted and STD from one of the oiks that "work" there.

Not often I partake of the festive coffee menu, however, being daring I decided to order the Festive Toffee Latte. The picture looked devine...... swirly cream on top of a lovely hot latte with toffee sauce drizzled over the top. Awesome!! Took away my hot drink full of excitement. A nice festive cup....Until you take the lid off said wonderfulness and Boom! A pale tan coloured hot sickly fake toffee tasting flat coffee....no cream let alone sauce. What a let down - awful. Never again

Called into this McDonald's on way to a meeting. Never reviewed a McDonald's before but felt I had to on this occasion. The staff were by far the friendliest and most helpful I have ever experienced in any McDonald's. From the cleaners who greeted everyone entering and thanking everyone leaving, to the staff at the counter. There was a slight delay (if you call it that. Was 5 mins) in the food. Staff member brought it to table, apologised for the wait, said enjoy meal and have a nice day. Reading other reviews on here, I must have visited different place. The place was so clean and tidy. Cleaner was cleaning tables as soon as they were clear. Whoever is manager here, your staff are a credit to you. I hope someone from there sees this as the staff need to know that the way they deal with customers does have a big effect and certainly brightened up our day! P.s The food was spot on too!

Why is it so hard to get a cup of coffee from this place, every time I order a coffee it's either half full, no milk in my latte or more often then not (nearly every time) it's warm not hot! Always through the drive through. I took it back last time to which the manager said sorry we're working on only on machine!!! So what he's saying is we'll serve you warm coffee then rather then tell me it's not working ! 😡 Usually I don't notice till I've driven Home and by then I'm not gonna drive back about coffee........it just makes me so cross they get it consistently wrong!

When you walk in, you are greeted by a terrible stench of oil and grease. The staff are moody and the food is awful. The staff do not listen to your instructions. This is a no go place!

This isn't a food review as obviously MacDonalds food is what it is. Just wanted to leave a quick review to comment on what lovely staff I've just experienced in this branch. Nipped in hungover with friends just as the breakfast was turning over into main meals and the young girls behind the counter were so friendly and polite, which when working in a busy hot environment like that is a really great standards of effort. As we left putting our rubbish in the bin a young lad working the tables made the effort to thank us and say goodbye. I really appreciate good manners and the kids in there get a big thumbs up.

Popped Into the Chesterfield branch for a drink. We opted for a drinking chocolate. It was vile it tasted like washing up water. we complained to one of the staff who was very nice , she asked if we would like another drink. this time we opted for tea. However this was equally undrinkable. The breakfast was plastic and tasteless. I would think there would be more nutrition in the container it was served in.. Won't go there again..

We visited the new refurbished restaurant today won't be going again no where to sit now even less tables and chairs. Having to wait for your number to be called out to receive your food which was cold. No where to safely put ur pushchairs or wheelchairs and not esay to get around with them

Regularly enjoy going in for coffee. But always find the place freezing cold and never want to take my coat off whilst I'm in there. The air conditioning is always blasting out whatever the weather.
