Syds in Bolton

Ordered off uber eats at just gone 5pm food arrived at just before 7pm When I called I was told I lived far away (just over2mile) missing items all cool to cold paid for a chicken strips meal for £7.50 got 3small strips and a tiny amount of chips All in a tiny box that melted Total rip off , many many better take aways in Bolton

Was over charged by some immature little rude boy that thinks he is special. overcharged deliberately for orders. when I asked for the manager they got someone who was not the manager but said he was and dealt with my complaint. when I asked for his name he would not give it or the name of his manger. I will be making a complaint of racial abuse and threatening behaviour.

absolutley horrible fish, never in my life have i had fish so nasty, smells horrible and taste like been frozen defo not fresh. my family was sick after trying it only had one fork full, the taste was yakkkkkkk

young worker very rude to me i can understand it was time to break fast ,i was very alm with him but he would not stop so i was angry too.also i had no cash and they had no payment card and said its out of order during whole pandemic which is not true

We ordered an online delivery, the Lahori fish was like rubber, it felt like it may have been microwaved (to reheat) when we rang the takeaway they said it was because we hadn’t had any sauces on the fish and that they don’t get many orders for the Lahori fish, not sure what that has to do with the fish being inedible. The dinner mix grill was sweet, and the fact it had been put on paper and a tray meant the paper was stuck to the naan. Overall the food was really bad and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Ordered through Deliveroo. Lovely delivery rider, very polite & friendly. Nice hot food. Will definitely order again :)

Order a lahori masala fish .. so got a regular fried fish sprinkled with masala and ton of sauce over it ... I am relived did not order a chicken karahi would have got fried chicken in a karahi to take home ... it’s a joke .. really disappointed .. Never again

staff was v unprofessional completely ignored when complained bad bad bad humble advised to the manager that hire people who love to serve After that, you train them.

The pizza meals are amazing and cheap every time I go Bolton I get one. Lovely some of the staff although some are rude!!!!

We only stumbled across Syd's on a Bank Holiday weekend when other take aways were all closed. But we're delighted we did. Counter service and delivery drivers are courteous & helpful and the quality of the food far surpasses the humble surroundings. Very good curries (though their control of spice level needs some attention), burgers popular with children, fish and chips well fried and extremely generous portions.

Food is terrible and not good at all. Cheap and not fresh. You can just tell they don't bother they are more bothe red about money than quality. Don't go there if you're from Bolton.

The staff are so nice and helpful, they make the best food and the good ol fish and chips! it feels like a family place not something like mcdonalds where all their food is made by people who dont really care! syds food is made with love and care and ive never had a bad meal EVER from there. i HIGHLY recommend this place.

Dirty food bad the fries were not fresh bad service never again.pizza was not all that the burger was ok but had better would not go again

Everything u expect from s take away. Clean place,greasy food & quick delivery of quickly made. Staff could be more friendly but they r always busy when I go in x
