Been here loads over the years, and I'm always more than happy with the quality and value. For me it's the best Indian food in Horwich.

Appalling. Delivered food to the wrong address and told us to go and find it. Argued aggressively that it had been delivered when it hadn't. Terrible attitude. Spent a fortune for nothing

Very hit and miss this place sometimes it's fantastic other times it's rubbish , the donner is the best in Horwich when on form , the meat Samoa use to be 2 big brilliant tasting but now they are small and not so tasty , chicken was very dry last time I orderd but previously has been delicious so it's hard to decide if it's worth going sometimes

Absolutely disgraceful took a hour and a half to come I had to ring 4 times + and the food was cold and soggy

Ordered the kebab for two well size certainly didn’t disappoint and as for quality it’s well up there lovely naan bread good quality chicken also tried the onion bhajis bite size instead of big fat onion they’re lovely will order again

Always brilliant, my go to place for kebabs in Horwich. Pictured Mini Moonstar and Feast Kebab for two with the Chips option. Feast Kebab on Naan is mega but the Naan alone will feed 2 people.

Collected many takeaways from here and always been great food but had a problem ordering online tonight (injured so couldn’t drive) so I rang them. The response I got was - we are closing in 30 minutes and we may be able to deliver depending on how big your order is and so long as it’s cash! Terrible attitude from the guy on the phone and I’d rather drive 29 minutes to get better service next time.

Firstly, I have never had a bad meal from this place, but unfortunately tonight’s meal was not as good as normal. I asked for small onions in my balti, I always do, because I feel sometimes curries can be ‘padded out’ with veg. I didn’t receive this tonight and due to the size they were raw. The chefs hadn’t checked my message in the box about the order. The second issue was a slightly ‘chalky’ texture to the dish. I think this is due to the meal arriving incredibly quick - which could be they’ve flash-fried/cooked it so quickly over high heat and I don’t think all the spices have had chance to marinate. It had a harsh taste to it. Therefore, I think tonight they had just really rushed the cooking time. I would rather it take a bit longer and the meal be its usual tastiness standard. Clove may have just been really busy tonight, and I will definitely be ordering again, just tonight wasn’t my favourite.

Ordered and waiting to be delivered for nearly an hour then gets a message off them that's it's been cancelled, complete joke of a place, don't bother, you've been warned.

Three times i have tried pre order a delivery and its been cancelled shame was my favourite

Best take out in the area by far. Staff are so pleasant and never had a remotely bad dish.

Negative experience. Went Into the shop to order chicken tikka starter only. I saw him put it straight Into the microwave, few mins later it was ready. When questioned if he had used the microwave he said that all restaurants do this, even nandos and wasn't happy that I questioned his methods. I left without taking the chicken and didn't pay. The cooking areas did not look clean and people were walking into the kitchen area from outside.

Disgusting! Food turned up after nearly 2 hrs and went in the bin. Cold and soggy. Avoid like the plague

40 Minute delivery time became more than two hours. After an hour, the restaurant were called and claimed it had just left. An hour later and two further calls (where the delay was blamed on the driver) we cancelled the order. It was then delivered 15 minutes later, pretty hot for food supposedly in a car for 75 minutes. The order was also wrong.

Ordered food and given a 45 minute eta...food took almost 2 hours to arrive...meat was dry and gristley, very poor quality.

Terrible service as they were early but that was acceptable but when you order a item that doesn't turn up you then say it will be sent and never turns up and the food is very basic so go elsewhere.

Always order indian from here always good timing food is always hot and always so tasty and the portions are a very good size cant complain with the prices. Im a vegetarian and still enjoy the vegetarian options for me and mybfamily enjoy the meats aswell great portioms with meat not shy with it. All in all a good place for food and takeaway thanks people x

I tried clove when it first opened and wasn’t impressed so never ordered from here again until a few weeks ago on Uber eats. As I thought there wasn’t a decent curry house in Horwich no more I thought it was worth a try again and it didn’t disappoint, food comes hot and fast but this time it was really good and tasty and couldn’t complain , they even gave extra popadoms and a complimentary starter in one order which I think is a deal breaker 👍🏼 keep it up Clove 👍🏼👍🏼

First time ordering from Clove tonight and have to say it didn’t disappoint. Arrived quick and hot , I had a kebab mixed with chicken tikka and Donner and oh my it could of fed 4. Lots of meat and fresh salad nice fresh Nann bread just delicious all fresh and hot nice to get what you pay for, prices very reasonable too. Hubby had a curry which he said was gorgeous nice and tasty and nice consistency , will definitely be ordering again . And I’m very fussy with food 🤣

After hearing good thinks about the clove we decided to try it .but we was left disappointed the curry was average and that’s being generous. We was missing nann bread also and the chips was cold and like chewing cardboard. Maybe it was a busy night for them but I won’t be returning any time soon

Real rip off, really avoid. Nasty attitude man on phone and set meals are very bad value. Try bengal cottage or goa balti for a real experience. HOPE YOU SHUT SOON

Rang the following day and they refused to put it right even though they acknowledged their mistake. Literally cost us £15 to throw food in the bin. They sent to completely wrong meal, it had chicken and we don’t eat meat. I had to throw the lot out as rice by itself just isn’t that appealing. I didn’t realise until 11pm by which time they were closed. I rang as soon as I could next day and was told they wouldn’t do anything about it as I didn’t tell them on the same day!!!! They then offered to supply the curry only (as a goodwill gesture as it was my fault!) but I had to pick it up! Shocking service.

Used for the last 4 indian takeouts because the food is good but there s always an item missing. Naan bread. Pakoras. Onion bhajis. You name it there s always something. I think they do it on purpose. Last order we were waiting 2 and a half hours for food to arrive. Won t be using again.

Best onion bhaji's ever from a takeaway, very generous with the amount of chicken in both our curries. Rang our order through and collected ourselves food piping hot and delicious, definitely will be using again!!

Best to collect from shop. As when we rang up to see where our order was they said we could have collected from shop even with the lockdown. Which we thought was odd. Wish we had known this prior as it's only 5min walk away and waiting 1hr pass our slot time is not on.

Food came fast and was reallyy hot , delivery driver was pleasant.

Ordered at 6.45 order arrived at 10.20pm ,I was told I could claim a refund though just eat ,however the takeaway would not show the order as completed so just eat cannot issue a refund apparently ! ,AVOUD THIS SHOP THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR CUSTOM .

First off it took 3 hours to arrive !!!, the food was cold, the rice was in a puddle of water, and they didn’t even bring everything we ordered, I don’t write bad reviews but this was disgusting and they didn’t even apologise let alone give us a refund or anything, would not recommend to anyone

Ordered and paid £40 for a home delivery. Didn’t receive order and nobody answered phone when tried to chase up- just answer phone. Do not order from these and definitely don’t make the same mistake I made by pre paying through just eat!!!!!

Absolutely shocking.... avoid at all costs. Ordered on just eat, accepted the order and the food never arrived. Sat here all night waiting for food and it never arrived. Had to send the kids to bed with a couple of slices of toast. Cheeky, robbing guys. Will never ever order from these again.....in fact you’re lucky I’m not putting a brick through your shop window....

Ordered via Just Eat at 6.42, app said delivery around 8pm. Hadn't arrived by 8.30 - eventually got through on the phone and was told it's being bagged. Still waiting at 9.10pm . Whether the food arrives or not I won't be using g Clove again.

Ordered at 6 today on just eat asked for 7.30 delivery but was given 8 which was no problem,8 came and went gave till 8.30 tried ringing several times requested a update via just eat no response still no sign at 9.15 so decided to drive to clove, several customers inside in the same situation as me finally got my order at 9.40 was still charged the delivery fee and order was incomplete.The food was still of a reasonable standard but they need to work on informing their customers slightly more and delivery speed.I will however try again maybe when no lockdown or not on a Saturday night

We ordered at 6.15pm on Friday 3rd April. Estimated delivery 7.45pm. 8.30pm nothing, I rang, they said it was leaving them in 15 minutes, 9.15pm nothing. I rang but they had taken the phone off the hook. 9.30pm the order changed to delivered on Just Eat. 11.15pm, got through finally and asked for a refund. They just kept saying the food was ready and they would send it and wouldn't refund it. Eventually they hung up the phone. Saturday I rang, they told me to ring back later because they were busy (Yep! They really did say that. Unbelievable!) I got through to Just Eat and they said the order was still open in their system so they couldnt refund it. They told me to call the restaurant again. Sunday I rang and the guy just started arguing with me. He started by saying he would send me the meal tonight (2 days late) then said he couldn't refund it and I needed to speak to Just Eat. Called Just Eat again, they called the restaurant and the cheeky gits said they had tried to deliver it and offered 50% refund. This was a blatant lie. Fortunately there were a dozen reviews on Just Eat all saying the same so they refunded it but otherwise they might not have done. A disgrace and I'll be popping in to speak to the guy face to face when this lockdown finishes.

Thanks boys, for taking our order on Just Eat. Why tell lies? It’s not being delivered is it? We’ve waited in all night. Seriously disappointed.

Worst take away ever ordered a curry last night waited 2hours for delivery and then it was the wrong curry then kept sayin ten mins twenty mins and never even turned up with the curry at all so ended up with rice and poppadoms very poor service and will not be ordering from them again.

Said that the driver had been but he had not food containers were dented with food in the plastic bag two hours late

Been craving an Indian takeaway for best part of a month, and can definitely say I wasn’t disappointed. Came earlier than stated, food was piping hot and full of flavour. The only item that wasn’t up to standards were poppadoms, yet they came free and we weren’t really bothered. Definitely shall be ordering from here again.

Ordered at 6pm last night food didn't arrive till 8.20, was told it would be an hour, rang at 7.30 and he couldn't find my order and wasnt bothered but said it would be 5 min, was ringing from 7.50 till 8.20 and couldn't get through, food wasn't hot and was tasteless when it arrived, iv ordered a few times from here and given them 5 stars all round but certainly won't be using again

Restaurant closed down but no warning online but will still take your money.

Called at 6pm was told delivery would be an hour didnt arrive until 8.45pm' 1 hour and 45 minutes late! I dont mind it being a bit late. Maybe 15 to 30 mins late but nearly 2 hours is a joke. Food finally arrived and they expect full payment. In the end I got £5 off a £35 order which doesn't really make up for the inconvenience. The food was quite good but the wait time was a joke then when you try and call No one answers.

Ordered via just eat at 6.30 was told delivery at 7.45. Rang for half an hour after 7.50 to get a message ‘welcome to voice mail plus’ at 8.15 went with another local takeaway. Willing to give a new business a try but won’t be back

We had house special biryani and clove’s special kebab from here. Food was DELICIOUS. Would be definitely recommend Clove.

I normally don’t recommend people for any curry placeses but this one’s a real deal. The food was amazing spot on full of flavour delivery was on time really happy with the service they provided this will be my first choice all ways Horwich clove takeaway keep it up.

Took three hours to deliver. And fed bits of fried chicken to a vegan. So despite all the recent press about cross contamination and health and safety, here is a kitchen happy to contaminate a meat free dish with chicken. In addition the order was late, the food was stone cold, and the kitchen missed off items from the order. Just eat part refunded. But the restaurant basically told us to get lost when we complained. Beyond poor. Use someone else.
