The best restaurants serving Fast food food in England

Very disappointed to see the jumbo fish finger bap changed so much. It was lovely tasty and filling. Now it’s a shadow of it’s former self. Such a shame.

I only live around the corner and first time here. Ordered meat feast pizza, skin on fries and a pot of hot sauce. Pizza was lovely, nice crispy base with plenty of topping. Was nice dipping a crispy crust in some nice hot sauce (although I prefer my hot sauce HOT) The star of the show were the skin on fries, which were £1.95!!!!! These were fantastic...... Most takeaways charge nearly £4 for these, so if you like your fries get involved. Its a bit off the beaten track, they are on Uber Eats but may struggle with passing trade, but if f you're passing, pop in and order - you won't be disappointed! The staff are friendly and seem like they just want to provide decent takeaway food in the area, which for the last 15 years I've lived here there has only really been Pizza City nearby. I'll definitely order from here again.

First time here & not worth the price, spent £80 on just burgers, wraps & nuggets. Loads of chips were given for small burgers and were kunda cheap tasting, so I ended up binning the chips. I went with small kids and had to carry them up by myself, I had to come down twice, and nobody offered to help. I am disappointed & don't think I will be going back.

Worst pizza and food I’ve ever had, no flavour or taste, I ordered the half and half pizza don’t bother. It didn’t turn up, I ordered pepperoni and salami, what turned up was grease pizza no flavour

Ordered a delivery to my place of work, 1.25 hour later - no food. Shop was very rude, called me a liar. Turns out they delivered to a completely different place, suddenly changed their tune when the driver admitted fault. I should of known better as the last delivery was cold and incomplete. There are other companies out there and i would definitely never use this establishment again, i think they must of changed owners because they used to be really good. AVOID DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Lovely kebab and pizza ordered from here, not seen a separate salad served in a tupperware box for kebabs before but a great idea for takeaway kebabs to prevent sogginess. Pizza was well cooked and the doner kebab well prepared and very tasty. I journeyed from Hartington to pick this up so a 20ish mile round trip. Recommended!

I have been a la Citta customer for quite a while but i have had second thoughts after this evening. I asked for two basic meals, one large and one medium but they just couldn't understand and one of them kept pointing to the meal deal which was not the correct size meal i wanted. I reluctantly took the medium because i could feel my rage temper coming over me and i thought i'm going to lose it and that would not be a pleasant experience. Not a nice experience, their facial expressions and whole demeanour was off. They don't value long term customers. Service has gone down the toilet in this place. Avoid!!!!

I have used Barrow takeaway for years and it has never disappointed until tonight. I ordered chicken and cashew nut and it was like an English stew, celery, carrots, huge pieces of onion, some Chinese veg chopped very small, incipit pieces of bland white chicken and watery sauce. It was the worst Chinese dish I have ever had, to top it all the chips were n cold and soggy. Will not be back refund or no refund.

Driver turned up took the cash a.d didn't have the delivery with him I then ri.g the shop and get a none Informant response what a joke not even an apology

Normally this is very good, tonight however is terrible, undercooked, pizzas cut terribly, pizza base is wrong and totally inedible.

I feel a bit bad leaving this review as we've been coming to Jack's for years to the point where staff know us when we arrive. They are always polite and even chit chat with us. We prefer this place as the kebabs are lovely ( I always have the chicken tikka on skewers) comes on naan and serve proper chippy chips rather than fries. Weve moved areas and still visit this place as it's a nice takeaway place where staff are lovely. We have never had issues with the food but have noticed a few times prices have creeped up. We understand reasons why food has gone up but weve seen price increases a few times to the point where it costed us nearly £40 for a chippy for family of 4. This is just standard fish, chips, peas, gravy and battered sausage stuff (not burgers and kebabs) unfortunately, we cant afford this for a chippy tea in this day and age so weve cut back too. Not that we wont go anymore but knocked hippies on head much more these days. I have no fault with Jack's place, genuinely love coming here and no issues with food- it's just the price and although understand chippies have had a big increase too- general folk have to cut back. I'll miss this place but would visit here again in future! It's like a social.outing as well as a takeaway.

Lambchops with rice. Looks nice option. But it was not well grilled. Too much burned. Not so good . Lamb had a taste like pickle.

The food is always good but their customer service is a joke. Twice we have been to the shop and ordered food only to come home and find oder missing. When we call they never accept blame and make us pay more for food we have already ordered and paid for.

This place is absolutely vile The food has no taste smell and it made me very sick I’ve had fries and pizza and it was the worst food I’ve ever tasted Burgers are dry and the chicken is not fresh and the skin comes of full of oil I don’t know how this place remain open for so long I’ve had enough of disgusting food from this place If I had option for zero stars I would give that Stay away
