Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Reading

2 and a half hours late delivery driver refused to leave my house without code

Food was stone cold. Fries soggy. Meal must have been sitting around for a while. Delivery timings in website meaningless as kept changing. Delivery man banged on wrong window. Won't be buying from Popeys again.

When I ordered the food it said 15-30 min delivery. The time kept going up and I eventually received my order over 2hrs later by which time I didn't even want it. I am really disappointed the delivery time was not at all realistic or adhered to!!

It originally said arriving within 30 mins and the time kept going up so eventually it took an hour and half!

Popeyes is great food, but they repeatedly forget items, major items like a burger or chicken

Best fast food I have had. Fresh, crispy, and good portion size. Restaurant was clean, staff friendly and plenty of seating.

I visited Reading branch. Food is ok but the thing that disturbed me was the cleaner serving food on the table. I asked the manager about this but she said that it’s our rule the person who is in that area, serves the food. I replied but how can a cleaner serve the food at the same time he/she is wiping the tables. But she didn't give any satisfactory answer.

Attai was very good, food was good and came quick. Would go again

I've been going here a lot and the food has been so good for the past few years, as well as the staff I've seen they have been very kind and are hardworking, a worker I've seen a lot from the past few months is Attia and from what I have seen she is a very hard working person!

Terrible, the chicken in the burger and the wings all had a very strong unpleasant taste, possibly from the oil. Everything was oily and tasted strange, wouldn't recommend.

This was my first visit to Popeyes in Reading, and I was impressed. It's a great alternative to KFC. The chicken was high-quality and perfectly cooked, as were the fries. I had the spicy chicken burger box, and my son had a regular chicken burger; we both enjoyed our meals. While the batter's flavor profile isn't quite as impactful as KFC's, the overall quality of the meal is superior. The fries were especially good—crispy and well-seasoned. The staff were friendly, and despite it being very busy, our table service was quick, and the food arrived hot. The chilled music added to the dining experience. My only minor complaint is that sauces cost extra. Overall, I'd recommend Popeyes over KFC.

Part of the order was missing. The chicken was packed next to the milkshake so it was cold on arrival.

No complaints. Even when I arrived when the restaurant was slightly crowded around 12:30pm. The restaurant was incredibly clean, my chicken burger box meal only took 4-5 minutes and was nice n' hot. Staff very friendly too ^^ Would recommend 👍

Ordered 3 spicy chicken burgers and all arrived without gherkins. Given that the burgers only have sauce and gherkins missing them is pretty inexcusable. Wife complained to manager and his attitude was are u asking for more! Burgers were also very oily and had the old/burnt oil smell. We wouldn’t be visiting again and suffice to say it’s one to avoid as there are plenty of better burger joints / food options in Reading

I was really disappointed with my order. The chicken wings were bloody, had a foul smell and seemed like they were made from expired chicken making them completely inedible. The rest of the food wasn’t any better the fries were extremely oily and tasted like they had been fried a long time ago, definitely not fresh. To make matters worse the entire meal was cold upon arrival. This experience was unacceptable and I certainly won’t be ordering from here again and I wish there was an option for no stars because they don’t even deserve one star. I will not be ordering from here again.

The chicken always bangs!!!! Delicious and spicy, and efficient staff. Food always nice and hot. Blows the likes of KFC out of the water, who's chicken pales in comparison.

0 stars. I order food from Uber Eats and (Duo Dippin) instead of 12 hot wings u give 9. Instead of 8 tender chicken ,u give 6. Sort ur staff out who cannot count? Order was 30 mins late. Not happy at all.

Morning breakfast. Table service great but no napkins. Why bother? there are table numbers from previous orders still on the tables. Tells me they’re not cleaning those tables despite there being only 3 customers. Not good.

£11.49 - Classic deluxe chicken sandwich, 3 hot wings and chips. The burger was great, 4/5. Chips were a 2/5 Hot wings were a 3/5.

It got delayed over and over again. nearlg toom 1 hour for them to start making the food.

The food was not fresh at all. It was a microwave heated sandwich, and it seemed that fries were already overcooked in a black colored oil. It has rubbish taste. Never recommend for dinner or lunch.

The first time I went here with a friend we had the chicken burger fries and wings. Taste-wise it was good but within a day we both had food poisoning that lasted a week... My brother went yesterday and he also got an upset stomach... I thought this would be great based on my experience visiting the branch in London Westfield which was always 5 stars but this Popeyes clearly has a problem. Just from looking at other reviews they have poor hygiene, disorganised, poor service and who knows how they're cooking their chicken. Never again.

Food didn’t taste good at all, seems to be hit and miss. Sometimes it’s nice and sometimes it just taste funny like the flour in the chicken coating isn’t cooked. Didn’t enjoy it at all today.

Ordered one piece and chips regular. Got spicy chicken with chips and the piece of chicken was a measly wing, not even a proper piece of chicken. I’ve ordered the same thing 3 times before and had no issue but this time they completely ruined my order.

A fraud case here! Customers better to check their food to ensure all foods delivered as well. They refused to make it well. Last time I went here, they missed some food in my kid's meal. I ordered breakfast here today. The breakfast wraps missed a hash brown inside, it is not in line with the screen showed us and their website (also some articles on web). They only provide the additional hash brown for the meal. It is totally unacceptable why the breakfast is different with the screen I ordered and the company's website. The staff told me they never put hash brown in the wrap and refused to make it well. The Staff said he is the Manager but he actually doesn't know their food.
