Taco Bell in Reading

I tried the crunchy taco beef and was pleasantly surprised. The beef was well seasoned and cooked, and wrap had a nice balance of sauce and texture. It's a quick, tasty snack if you're craving something savoury.

I tried the Deluxe Box at Taco Bell, and it was a solid fast-food experience. The variety was great the box came with a burrito, taco, fries, churros, and a refill drink, which made it feel like a full meal. The flavors were bold and satisfying, especially the burrito which was hearty and well-seasoned. It’s definitely a good value for the price if you’re hungry and craving Tex-Mex-style fast food.

Have eaten at Taco Bell a number of times over the years but the quality has gone right down. There is a ridiculously small amount of filling in each taco- laughable. There was no one else in the store when I arrived but the tables were dirty and no one cleaning anything. It’s all self service so clearly staff numbers have been cut and the quality of the food very poor to increase profits. Shame on you Taco Bell

The only good thing about this place is that it’s Taco Bell. The restaurant dirty, the toilet is diabolical , clearly not cleaned very often, ended up waiting 25 mins for our “fast food”, barely any seating for volume of customers and one table so broken it nearly fell on me, if this place wasn’t a Taco Bell with the same food as every other Taco Bell it would be shut

Review for Taco Bell Reading. Chicken Nacho Bites served soggy and barely lukewarm. The cashier insisted they are fresh. But then said for fresh we need to wait more. Counters not cleaned with food leftovers laying around. The person preparing the food was continuously scratching face and handling food. I do not recommend to anyone.

Where to start. Over priced food for what it is When received order missing items then was told it was there and it wasn't 3rd times the charm for the missing items. The worst part was the toilets it was a disgrace, 4 cubicles 1st piss all over the place and no toilet roll, 2nd cubicle someone had the taco shits that had covered the bowl the seat it wasn't flushed and no toilet roll the 3rd cubicle worse than the 1st, 4th one some toilet roll and a bit more tidy. 100% if they cannot keep the toilets clean id hate to see the kitchen.

I ordered a black bean burrito and they gave me a beef one. Tried to call but phone rang forever and getting a refund is nearly impossible. Another poor business operated by PepsiCo.

Me and my friend had food from here today. Had the beef tacos and the amount of oil on the beef was atrocious! It wasn’t until we had consumed it and went about our day that we realised it had messed with our stomachs, feeling very nautious and weak. Update - been suffering with food poisoning from this establishment as confirmed by my doctor. When I called to let them know I received no answer despite multiple attempts. Avoid avoid avoid

Nearly a 60pound order came stone cold loads missing food! cheese sauce everywhere in the bag pots opened everything just chucked in! Very disappointing

I got this delivered the other day. I ordered the chipotle ranch grilled chicken burrito deluxe box, hell of a name! It came relatively quickly from Uber eats but still lost quite a lot of heat. The chips are super nice with the seasoning they put on. The crunchy taco is pretty boring. The burrito was very nice could do with some more chicken inside though. And the churros are lovely but would recommend eating in for those as would be much better warm. For the price (12.50) I’d say it’s not worth it, but if you manage to get a discount go for it

delivery time was absurd- i waited an hour and ten minutes for my food and by the time it got here the food was cold and the drinks were warm i am shocked by this as usually food comes within 30 minutes. tried to cancel my order after half an hour but i couldn’t even do that, i am deeply annoyed

Ordered food via a popular delivery service. Didn't receive nachos and the quesdilla arrived with a long black hair. Reported it to the delivery service but unable to take responsibility. Tried to call taco bell, unable to get through. If you work with food then you should make your staff wear hair nets.

Delivery was spot on. But both Burritos were cold. Funny thing was the fries came with it was hot !!!! Something really fishy. Also both Burritos were not properly filled. I will raise it with Taco Bell as I am a regular customer.

Love coming here before I start work, the burritos are just delicious. Staff are always friendly and hard working. Honestly so glad I have a Taco Bell near work, keep it up guys

The times of the delivery kept changing, there was no update for a long time and the food was delivered 1hour and 35 minutes after I placed the order which is absolutely ridiculous. The food then arrived and everything was freezing cold and not nice

I've been excited to try tacobell. Chips were cold and undercooked. Taco was nice but very small in size, ingredients were fresh. Burrito cold. I'd bought the chips and taco and was going to take the burrito to work later but ate all of it as such small portions. Very disappointed

On a previous visit over the weekend dated 1st of March 2025 I visited the store and I was so disappointed with the way the store was run as no one looked like they knew what they were doing it was disorganised and the toilets let me not start on the toilets they were disgusting unhygienic with urination and faeces on the floor and all to no toilet paper, floors were a health hazard as it was wet and slippery sinks were blocked with toilet paper I was extremely disgusted and had to take pictures as this shouldn’t be the way it was in a fast food restaurant. The staff the store had working could do with a lot of work and the lack of management is horrendous on Saturday. Talk about diversity I read Taco Bell reading was meant to be a very diverse fast food take away but I can verify that this very untrue and quite appalling to a very diverse town we the people expect more.

Quality has improved in the last year. Delivery warning though - packaging is terrible, so be extra careful it doesn't spill everywhere when you take it out of the bag, maybe use a plate. It's not as good as other mexican fast food chains, but it's OK. Portions are rather small though. Go to Zambrero, Tortilla or Mission Burrito for better quality.

We got a volcanic burrito box, didn’t come with a taco. It was also extremely cold when it got here, and it was all squished and the two supreme tacos were all broken and messed. up.

Ordered via Just eat, arrived cold, soggy supposedly seasoned fries, churros and caramel sauce missing, taco with virtually no what tasted like tinned mince in it. Quisdila that I paid extra for was also awful, chicken tasted hard and dry like frozen cubed chicken. First and last time for me as I would get far better quality food from a burger van and wouldn't cost over £16.00 either

Tasty food spoilt by poorly maintained eating area and bathrooms. I’d still recommend Taco Bell in Reading as there are very few of these to restaurants in the uk.

Ok nice again they give you the nachos instead of fries. Doesn't matter if youre in store or home. No point in ordering fries as they will just give you nachos

Food is served with hardly any meat and sauce, the tortillas are soft and the contents aren’t enough. The cost is high for a few bits to eat. It’s a shame, the meat that is added, does taste good. The portions are not worth it and leave you still feeling hungry after. Won’t be buying from here again, no value for money.

I ordered my volcano burrito to have the beef replaced with black beans, but this did not happen and now I have eaten meat for the first time in years. Angry is an understatement!
