Tony's The Spicy Chicken in St. Helens

Stone cold donner meat out of luke warm water in pan, dehydrated fries, drove back was told "everybody knows better these days" swerve this place 🙈

Just ordered on St Helens Eats and the food was great as always. Shawarma and chicken wrap!

order at 19:00. didn't turn up said on the app was out for delivery didnt xome rang up they said a lady had collesed ot then was told they be half hour woth oder and then when it can 1 hour 50 min late food had been tampered with.. meat had been warm back up on burger grill and was dry.

Ordered Stella and got Carling. Not even similar.

Good food but missing gravy and big bottle of coke swapped out for just two cans

Pizza burnt, and tasted funny, threw it away, beans missing.

As ordered....tasty chicken.No complaints.

No words can describe the mess that was sent tonight. Burger came with no sauce, pepperoni instead of bacon and 5 day old chicken. The chicken wings were bits of bone with a bit of batter on them & the chicken pieces must have been fried that many times as it was like chewing on Ghandi’s flip flop. Literally threw the whole meal in the bin. Wasn’t even good enough for the dogs.

43 pound terrible 2 portions of onion rings with 4 in each terrible price 😢

Food is usually lovely and we all enjoy it but tonight the chicken was awful, it was dry no skin and tasted awful, out of 8 pieces of chicken and 8 wings we have eaten 2 the cat has ended up with the rest she thinks all her christmases have come at once where as we are feeling rather disappointed ☹️

Absolutely disgusting to order a portion of chicken wings you get home open and someone’s already chewed away at them

Usually can’t complain. But this time there was about 3 pieces of dry lamb and dried out burnt dinner meat in the kebab. Asked for salad and didn’t get it. £8 for that 🫠

The lads here at Tony's spicy chicken never disapoint, food is always good especially after a night out on the alcohol.. reasonable deals, free items such as drinks, garlic bread or chicken wings. Definitely recommend 10/10

What a contrast !…delivery previous day from McDonalds was total let down with delayed delivery, missing item and coke food….Tony’s food totally complete, speedy service , food well cooked and fresh/hot giving me the pleasure of awarding 5 stars …will be the regular takeaway from now on .

I’m giving 2 stars because normally this place does the best chips with coleslaw. I’ve ordered this many times and I had plenty coleslaw on top of my chips for the price of £3.50. I received my chips and coleslaw yesterday and when I got home I opened the lid to find there was hardly any mayo with it! Just sliced carrots and bits of the coleslaw and dry chips.

10/10 👌 also read and listend to the notes keep it up guys.

Charged us twice. Didnt get what we ordered and when we went back for imthe £3.50 chips this is all we got for it

Ordered chips with chicken wings and coleslaw but didn't get the chips, but charged £13 which is the meal deal, then didn't want to deliver what we ordered 😔. So in the end it cost me £17 that's a rip off.

Superb! Asked for delivery as soon as possible but was a bit apprehensive after bad experience with other suppliers- I’m amazed that the delivery was within 30 minutes from Speke to St.Helens! Would definitely highly recommend as the go-to place for late night drinks. Brilliant! 👍

First time I’ve ordered from here. Pizza for my son which he loved and I had Tony’s Full House Kebab which was absolutely gorgeous and possibly the best kebab I’ve had in this town. Will definitely be coming here again

Never I've I had a bad review with this place apart from today 24th December I know it's Christmas eve an hour and half still no food said it was delivered but no food

I’m sad to say the quality of the chicken burger was really bad, the chips soggy and under cooked and soggy onion rings. I literally got a plain slab of chicken breast on a bun. Driver however was early and very friendly and polite!

The delivery driver was a top bloke

Waited 2 hours to be told the driver had broken down and could I collect. I said no, I don't drive. He said wait another half an hour see if I can get a driver, after 2 and a half hours, nothing. That was the last of my money and have to wait days for a refund. Terrible service. NEVER AGAIN

Food didn’t arrive it was over an hour late.. I had to ring the shop to see where it was they told me another half hour to which I rang half hour later to be told delivery car had broken down and I needed to collect order

Gone really down hill, ordered 32 wing and there a disaster, used to love the place but it's changed and items missing also

Orderd for delivery. The food was completely wrong. Ni had 3 sets of chips there was no cheese pizza I ordered. I rang up and the man called me a lair.. Will not order again the kids was disappointed and had no tea and to make them something else.

Shawarma was nicest I've had so far, asked for no salad on wrap, burger was ok but had no option for salad so came with none, and fries were nicer than macies. overall nice food.

Absolutely shocking! Ordered the Tony’s house kebab at £9.20.. a lot of money! I received a small mixed kebab in a burger box, no chips no sauces.! I rang the shop to complain to which I got a rude man telling me their is a cost of living crisis ( yea don’t we know it ) and the house kebab has gone from £6 to £9.20? It was rank! I also saw after ordering their hygiene rating is a 3..!!! You just lost a customer Tony’s!

I ordered what looked like on the menu 4 pieces of peri peri grilled chicken. But I got 4 pieces of fried chicken which I do not enjoy. The chicken burger I found was very dry. :(

Go here if you want to be abused and accused of not paying when they’d taken payment along with your portion of food poisoning.

After last time being slightly disappointing, thought we’d give it another chance as usually it’s spot on. Food arrived hot and on time and everything tasted great!

Took nearly an hour to arrive which wouldn’t mind if food was hot but was only just warm. Got sent 2 different drinks to the ones we ordered, both of which we didn’t like. Changes like that should surely be queried first.

Excellent service - asked for delivery ASAP and was delivered within 20 minutes of ordering - super fast! Cheeseburger excellent - cooked to perfection and piping hot. Can't be faulted. Thank you to everyone at Tony's - you're doing a great job!

Terrible quality of food, donner meat was very dry. Phoned to complain and they sent another portion which was the same, dry The portion size of kebabs is very small and bulked up with salad rather than meat

Mines is just one opinion please consider other reviews before taking my word for it, everyones tastes are different. I feel they could do so much better cause their ingredients are actually really good quality. The service was great delivery was fast and driver lovely. Onto the food though (and maybe it was dead busy etc maybe just a bad night for them) I thought the pizza tasted kinda sweet, like the sauce was full of sugar. The fried chicken seemed like it was cooked waaaay too far in advance, it was pretty cold tbh! I dont reckon it was fried fresh. Shame cause their coating and spices were actually really nice just a shame about the temp and that it was made earlier. Kebab meat was good quality and well cooked but very very dry. Wrap it in some bread and feel every drop of moisture leave your body. The chilli sauce is ketchup, its blatantly ketchup. Recreate their chilli sauce at home but putting some ketchup in a pot and placing a chilli in the same room for 5 mins. The special sauce was just weird, ketchup and mayo mixed with burger sauce or something.

Food was very hot and fresh when it arrived Staff were also very friendly asking me how my dayhad been, will definitely order again.
