I thought I’d try Deno’s for the first time - Not a great experience, ordered a kebab and cheesy chips. To be honest to the portions were small although I ordered a medium sized. Worst of all the pitta bread tasted stale and hardly any chicken, packed with salad though - Ripped off! I suppose there’s not a lot you can do once you’ve travelled home in a taxi to eat your food. Avoid this establishment as there’s better places around town and better value for money.

Pretty dire tbh for the price, chips were dried out salad was scarce meat defiantly was dry too, for what it costs here I'd defiantly consider it

Normally I have no issues with this takeaway however I ordered a mixed kebab wrap with garlic sauce which had barely any chicken or garlic sauce in it and was spicy. I cannot handle spicy foods due to on going stomach issues therefore the food after one bite the food was wasted.

really poor, second time iv tried this place for large kebab and they certainly arnt large with not a lot of Donner meat, will not be trying a third time

All family has choose five starts the food and portions are fantastic 😍😍 definitely will be visiting again

Portions were very small, pitta salad was poor the take away service was disappointing, wont be visiting again 😥 so sad when i opened the bag at home 🥴 for a tenner was like where is my food ???

Fish and chips and chicken kebab…. Absolutely spot on. The chap, assuming the owner, lovely bloke and extremely helpful Food is fresh and made to order and really really good. Tasty, hot and great portion sizes. Proper chips too, non of this frozen chip nonsense. Got to be honest. Probably one of the best takeaways I’ve ever had. I rate it that much. Superb for me.

Absolute disgusting food, and very rude staff left an honest review on just eat and were extremely rude. Will not order from here again it’s a health risk !!!!!!

Stayed in Darlington for two nights, both nights we went to Denos Return! Their Pizza was fluffy, fresh and very tasty! Chips were absolutely beautiful (chippy chips). The owner (Suddi) couldn't of been more welcoming or friendly! Will definitely be back!

I would add a photo of the food I received but I didn't receive any food from this take away so waited an hour for food and nout well never mind will never use again

Can't belive one old man had to come back twice for his order and he already paid for it kept saying he for got unreal and he thought it was funny

Pizza amazing!! My daughter loves the food from here and requested it for her birthday tonight even better then normal and that says alot!! I highly recommend 👌

Got a small mixed kebab , had to ask them for a pitta bread! No salad ,very little in the order. Terrible value for money. Seem to take the piss because you have been drinking. Usually order from Antoni's ,Gladstone street, where you get much much more. Absolutely disgusted at the service. Especially when they didn't have any serviettes for my cousin who has had a stroke and needs to wipe himself. Avoid at all costs!!

Very slow with the delivery as before we had to phone to see why it was taking so long. Won't be ordering again if they can't deliver on time

this place is centre to the town.you can not miss it. just down from the town clock . food is good. served warm..lots of good things on the menu to chose from

what a joke ordered food at 7.30 an 9.15 still waiting for spaghetti bolognese an a cheesy garlic bread could have gone to Morrisons an cooked the dam thing myself definitely need new drivers wouldn't recommend getting delivery unless your in all night

Appalling customer service. Rang to order was told it would be an hour and half wait which is fair enough three hours later and after numerous attempts to ring them they answer the phone to say its on its way another lie. Not even the decency to apologise or at least say we can't deliver. Avoid at all costs.

After reading the reviews about Deanos decided to call in when shopping in Darlington the chips where traditional the way they were cooked the onion rings large fresh and crispy the fish was lovely no grease at all in comparison to the fish and chips we had in queen street which where burnt and the fish raw in the middle would recommend Deanos but avoided chip shop in queen street

Not even worth 1 star....get some food from here to nyt not worth the money at all. Too expensive to pay for grease. Shouldnt be open.

Well and trully shocking.....bad food really greasy. Not worth the money. Got small chips, the smallest tyb of garlic sauce and a portion of onion rings n 2 cans of coke £6.50. Not worth the money at all. The onion rings was just sraps . My fish n chio shop would of cost less than a fiver n it would of been made there n then.

Great little takeaway and good value for money, especially good for food after you've been on a night out with the lads, where else can ya get fish and chips at 11 at night for the post drink hunger ;-)

I was a walk in customer, i ordered the hotshot chicken Parmesan. Took a little long to make but was well worth the wait. And it came with chippy chips and not french fries. The staff were very polite. And the premises was clean. The food was reasonably priced. I was so happy after eating it i couldn't drive home, i had to pull over to sleep it off. Can't wait to go back to Darlington to have another!

I had a small portion of fish and chips. It was actually a very good size and only £3.95. However, it was also quite greasy.

Food was was half a hour later than it was suppose to be. It wouldn't have been so bad if it was nice, but it was the worst food I have ever ordered! It smelt disgusting, looked disgusting and tasted VILE! After 2 mouthfuls the full lot went in the bin (I wouldn't even give it to my dog)! Don't waste your money orderfrim somewhere else!

Added another 30 mins to a 45 min wait then didn't even deliver. I went to bed after about an hour and 45 mins of waiting. Never even received my order.

The pizza came with chilli flakes and green peppers and it was meant to be a meat feast,very small portion of chips and sausage didn't seem fresh,very disappointed

2 hours to arrive and very very oily greasy bolognese. Red oil was dripping out the container I had into stand and let it drain over the sink!

Pizza was okay but wouldn't order kebab or parmo. Chips are like fish shop chips. Bit of a mix of cuisines. Kebab was just yellow chicken coated in what tasted like curry powder.

Unfortunately my food was awful. Was all cold chips cold and greasy, donner meat cold, parmo was dry as sticks and also cold. Delivery was 1hour 45mins so food must of been sitting a while. Almost £15 in the bin. Thanks for wasting my money.

Tried to persist but these guys are a waste of time. Yet again my order was delayed, first by them sending me an update telling me delivery was going to take another 30 minutes, and then by still managing to deliver 20 minutes later than that. No update for the second delay though and no one willing to answer the phone. Horrible, horrible service just no excuse.

Didn't send any sauce I ordered, pizza came on thick Base instead of thin and added 30 minutes to delivery time after ordering, wouldn't have bothered if they had stated that originally.

Food was delivered piping hot and in the time allocated. The hot shot pizza was nice as were the chips. The downfall was the cheeseburger which was shocking and squashed in the tub of chips they were delivered in, this meant the burger bun was flat and soggy due to the grease and steam of the chips, luckily I bought the pizza too as son shared that as he threw burger in bin after one bite. Have only marked food quality 3 as can only review pizza and chips

Order from here a lot food is good but every time I order it takes longer and longer I ordered my food eta was a hour ten minutes after ordering it say the restaurant has added 30 minutes to your Oder it's been two hours I still don't have my food

it was at least 10 to 15 minutes late and this is the second time this has happened.

I keep leaving a note saying just LETTICE and OINON Only BUT they keep sending full salad and I hate full salad

Fish and chips were really nice and cooked well, the batter went a bit soft due to the steam off the polystyrene packaging though, the bairn enjoyed his fish bites and chips but was disappointed to find two onion bites in his meal. Would of been all fives if not for the onion.

Food arrived almost 2 hours after I first ordered. Only ordered fish n chips, curry sauce and a bottle of coke - not a massive order. Food was hot and tasty, just delivery time is a joke

Arrived fantastically late. Was close to cancelling. Rang 'restaurant' was told too many delivery orders .... and? Seems they can't cope with delivery orders!

I do like this to order from, just the Parmo wasn't as good as usual but the rest of the food was lovely

I was put off by the poor reviews but was pleasantly surprised with the food. Was good quality and was delivered fast. Will use again. If delivery ever takes over 1 and a half hours I would stop using. This time was very good.

Nice pizza however delivery was extended to an hour by which it still hasn't arrived so had to phone up and it was only just getting made then so was still a further 15 mins, it was only a Sunday eve and only 1 pizza we ordered so didn't think it would be that busy

Was supposed to be here an hour and fifteen minutes after ordering, arrived 2 hours after! Tried calling the takeaway and it was constantly engaged. Finally arrived - omelette burned, no salad or peas. Could I have called them about this? Probably but by this point I've given up! The only positive I can give is that the chips were lovely, just not lovely enough to justify a 2 hour wait.

Ordered and restaurant added 30 mins to it. Then arrive 15mins after they agreed. Upon telephoning restaurant i was greeted by a rude man. Need to work on customer service. Food was the best just beware the order will come an hour later than u want. Not good when you have a child waiting for food too. This happened on more than one occasion

Ordered then it came late but expected to be late due to it being a fri night. One order missing when delivered once called they were straight out with missing item couldn't knock them very good service. Will order again.
