Dixy Fried Chicken in Blackburn with Darwen - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

I ordered a chicken fillet and asked over and over again for a fillet not only did I get this but it was also cold! The food is vile and I even paid extra for delivery Never ever again

We ordered our food as normal, 2 hours later it still hadn’t arrived so we rung them up and they said that the driver had left the food outside on the floor and it was left for over half a hour, the food was unbeatable and was freezing cold! Not only that but they didn’t even give us our 2 pizza meals that we had ordered and payed for! We rung them back up and they were very unprofessional and was very rude. Told us that they couldn’t do anything about it, wouldn’t send us new food or even try to refund us! Disgusting place!

Was looking forward to the meal guy is not hmc and seems to be selling dodgy meat cos it only costs £1 per day to get meat certified so why not !!! Unless you are hiding something so beware I did not venture any further with any purchase .

Good service,friendly staff, food was what you would expect hot and plenty of it. Never been before but it seems quite popular.

I asked specifically for the restaurant to call the number given as to not wake up other people in the house. They banged on the door and therefore got told where to “shove their takeaway” by an angry, tired man

Got the order wrong. The pizza was stuck to the top of the box when arrived so no topping on pizza. And the pizza base was tikka instead of tomoto 😑 Ordered a mini meal and expected chicken wings, a piece of chicken and a burger and got two piece of chicken and the burger.... really disappointed

we have been regular customers for years and never leave a review. Not only is the food piping hot on arrival every time but the order is always correct and bang on!! without fail!!! You can almost guarantee that they will deliver before the estimated time with is fantastic!!! big thank you guys!!!

Food were 2 hours late, i contacted the restaurant several times to see where my order was, to be told "its with the driver, be with you in 15" I HATE THAT! They then said there had been a delay with their delivery of chicken wings (which i ordered) and thats why it took so long...but yet ive seen other people leave reviews and thats what they were told too so im unsure if this were true and if it were, they should of contacted me earlier to tell me this so i could choose to cancel my order if i wished to. They then said they would off me a "small" discount next time i came as i were a first time customer and they didnt want me to judge them by this experience and he also said the driver is literally around the corner now, on my street, which he wasnt because it took a further 15 mins for delivery! Im sorry but a small discount? For waiting over 3 hours for some food (from ordering to delivery)...no i wouldnt want to risk it again. The wings were yummy tho, but wernt too keen on the chips, loved it when dixy did those thin fries with loads of red salt but they arent the same anymore and the actual chicken (not the wings) where soggy and tasteless :(

Absolutely fuming I ordered and paid for my food at 1pm I'm still waiting on it even though iv rang them and they said it will be 10 mins over 35 min ago!

got my meal from dixy chicken items missed out of order my other food that came was cold and when i rang up about it 3 or 4 times I got phone put down on me 3rd time and 4th time when they sent my 2 items which was missing even got that wrong not very happy with this as I payed good money for this and could even eat it even delivery man was very rude

Food was 20 minutes late after waiting an hour already. I ordered a pepperoni pizza for 6 year old and they sent me a mushroom one. She absolutely hates mushrooms and doesn’t deal well with change, this caused a meltdown. Chips were cold and burger was just shoved together. Not the best.

Food on time. Burgers and strips were tasty but barely warm. Chips weren't' nice, not my style at all. Soft and flavourless and again, quite cold. Too many good chicken places out there for us to order here again.

the burgers were very soggy. the chicken burger was also chewy and cold like it had been left out all day. the garlic bread wasn’t very good either. very disappointed.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with Dixy Fried Chicken. I ordered my food and was extremely please when I received my email confirmation and then a text saying my order was on the way. After waiting around for my order for more than 20 minutes I decided to ring them to see if it was on the way as phone signal can be rubbish in my area. It was only then did the very rude man on the phone tell me that I wouldn’t be receiving my order as they hadn’t been able to contact me to confirm my order. Obviously at this I was extremely confused as I had received my confirmation email and text to say the takeout was on its way. Apparently with new customers they always like to speak to someone before delivery when it is cash to make sure its not someone messing around. I received no phone calls from them, nothing. Extremely disappointed in the service, will not be ordering from them again.

disappointed with this takeaway paid for a 10” pizza meal they gave me a 7” pizza meal instead brought some wings which I didn’t like!! also late with other 2x pizzas when they finally came they were cold! not happy at all won’t be going again!!

Seems like dixy has seriously lost its touch or maybe its just online orders they aint putting effort into...fish burger was disgusting burnt or well overfried lol an coating hard wheras the actual taste was yukk...as of today i finaly give up with ordering from here again...Food is not as good an tasty as it once used to be

fast delivery, friendly delivery driver but unfortunately the food was a disgrace. The chicken burger and chicken strips was really dry, like it had sat under a warmer all day. The gravy was way too watery but the chicken popcorn and chips were up to standard.

Waited around 2 hours for food twice now. Its like a lucky dip if you order gravy coleslaw or beans to which u will receive. Food inconsistent.

terrible, apparently didn’t even have the order when we phoned. turned up EXTREMELY LATE. rude driver trying to charge us more. money for cold like rubber chips and cold chicken. wasn’t worth waiting nearly 2 hours for. wouldn’t ever recommend. rubbish.
