Went and got 5 wings and chips on Sunday was hungry currently got diorhea and belly ache since the morning, wings were very oily and soggy

They have a sink to wash your hands - this should be in every chicken shop, love it

If you want food poisoning, come over, they’re happy to welcome you!

they sell one piece of chicken plus a piece of bone with breading and a symbolic amount of meat as two. all of it is over salted, the chicken is not the freshest. The staff also makes you wait and does not know the words please and thank you.lf you are very hungry it is edible definitely not the first choice

The food was good, because I eat food if it ‘looks appetising’. The fried chicken was fine, but the grilled chicken is not that upto the expectation as it used to be. Would not prefer to visit here anytime soon.

Went to order food was on a day out trip soo bad service kinda left me with nothing as I ordered and asked if food can be prepared the staff who spoke to me said will be 3-4 mins then another man came after 5mins said you haven't paid I said I thought I was supposed to pay at end as the other staff never asked for money at beginning he made a face and said well we not going to give it for free I said ask him as he was behind explaining I already ordered and he said why should I he was soo rude other customers left and I left went to lovely place with great service. I myself always bring customers 1st what RUDE staff the manager needs to see to who's running this place as they are the face of this company then we complain why we don't have success. Bad bad service

The food was bad. I saw the waiters collect used served trays and pile them in the ones used for serving without even changing the paper where the food is kept. We ordered burger which was stale. Worse part, I ordered a grilled combo and they refused me to give the side on it. On arguing for the same, they gave me an option of choosing a sauce and I chose garlic mayo. I felt the staff there are taking food for them selves.

At the Finchley branch, there was a worker who was unable to understand my order. When I received my order, I politely asked him to change the bun of my chicken burger as it didn’t look fresh to me. He started to argue and said he would not change it. He told me that I don't know English and that if I can't speak English, I should use another language.Who is he to tell me about the language I should speak? His behavior was racist, to be honest. He was so rude and loud, it seemed like he wanted to start a fight. I was with my family. Kindly avoid this place, especially if you are with your family.

The worse people ever. They kept lying to me that the food will be ready in 10mins. The next thing you will know, you've waited for 20mins and food is still not ready. When i asked how long they told me another 8 mins. These idiots made me waited by the counter like a fool and a beggar. The most annoying part was they were smiling about it like it was nothing. I really felt i was being mocked. I had to get a refund and leave this messed up atmosphere. Am very glad that I got my money back and left. Unprofessional

Veggie burger tasted a bit weird smelled kind of vinegar or maybe off wasnt sure. Ate a bit left the rest and proper sick next day. Food poisoning 😫

Today at Approximately 6.15 pm I ordered a grilled Chicken meal, I pacifically told the guy over the cashier No spicy!! No Spicy!!! After 20 minutes waiting for the food I toke my order home and guess what chicken was full of hot spice on it... What can I say? If I say he is stupid I would insult stupidity. If u can't take a Simple order then what good are you for? If toke a bite of that and I have a serious allergy with spicy food, I could have serious reactions would Chicken cottage be responsible?? You are playing with people life!!! Please be aware if u have allergy with anything please stay for this place. They can't even understand when a customer speaks pure English......

Guys when you go into the shop you’ll see free pot of burger sauce or garlic sauce in return for a good review on this Platform I’m telling you do not waste ur time doing the review the 2 sauces that they offer for free which is usually 60p ish taste damp and expired

COLD FOOD AND HORRIBLY LATE IN DELIVERY. We needed for a meeting urgently. We selected chicken cottage as the delivery time was showing 5-10 minutes. But it arrived at around 1 hour and 30 minutes late. Obviously the food was cold as well. Surprisingly, they do not have any contact number in the website.

Worst service ever. The staff preferred to talk to his mates rather than serving the food. He didn’t care at all if people are waiting and rushing.

The Afghan worker with a teeth in his gap and his workers are very selfish with the chips portion and also very selfish when it comes to giving sauces with a meal other day ordered 3 meals they only gave 2 chilli sauce and 1 mayo and one ketchup and majority of the time they give the order wrong or missing or with very little fries wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Rude staff, I was asking about burger and nuggets and he was busy in his phone, I asked twice and he got annoyed. Horrible customer service, table wasn't clean. Doesn't care about customer. Hope food hygiene does a inspection soon.

Chicken wings were ok. Burger wasn't good at all, and the worst thing was chips were served cold! We didn't bother asking for fresh ones as we were rushing to go to the movies. But not a good experience sorry.

I gave this place the benefit of doubt, I ignored the bad reviews, and unfortunately I was wrong to do so. Wings were undercooked and I was right to check my box because as I read in previous reviews wings was missing, and the same happened to me. Shocking.

I will Never go to this shop again. Gave me yesterday’s chicken drumstick. It was smelling inside. Made my day worse

When it’s late and you’ve had a few drinks, there are fewer pleasures in life that satisfy than fried chicken. The succulent wings were nicely crumbed with subtle heat and spice. Much better than the limp chips. Maybe it’s the five whiskeys that pushed a more favourable score here 🤣

Although the prices and deals has gone down over time (not the fault of the business obviously), the food is still nice relatively. Basically drunk food, or when you got fast food craving. They were happy to swap out things we didn't want for things we did want (as long as the price remains the same...i.e a large bottle of drink for two wings from one of the big meals)

I was there looking for some non-spicy chicken for a 5 year old. There were so many items and looked like burgerking. But it seemed they specialised in Chicken. The customer care could have been better but no complaints. They have underground seating but closed at that moment. They had more seating places but no customers were there at that time. The ambience behind the counter could have been better however a decent size of chips and 5 chicken strips were thoroughly enjoyed by the little customer:)

They are really good at giving you less chicken than you ordered, Price is more like ££ - £££ not £. Check you box if you get take away they try it a lot.

They charge you for the burger sauce, say no more.

Special orders like whole chicken will take a long time so you need to allow time for that

Fast food outlet on the Finchley Road 50 yards north of Finchley Road tube station on the same side of the road. Part of a chain. They sell a variety of cooked chicken. Standard coated chicken along with strips, wraps, hot wings etc. Also cook grilled chicken & burgers to order. Sides of chips, beans, coleslaw etc available, along with a variety of soft drinks. I are in and food was pretty standard but fresh and tasty. Service was rather slow, as you expect to get your food immediately in such establishments but had a 5 min wait. Not very busy but a regular flow of customers whilst I was there. Server was polite and establishment was clean.

Chips was good not the 2 pieces of chicken which I could not stomach to finish. The table next to me needed wiping off the liquid spill.

POOR QUALITY OF FOOD AND SHOCKING SERVICE 😡 I bought food to take away with my 9yo daughter and by the time I got home (5mins away) the chicken was cold and incredibly dry as if it sat in the hot serving plate for a long period of time. I refused to eat it so I took it all back to be faced with a bad attitude from the guy who served me which at first. He refused to give me my money back and it was company policy that once food is removed from the premises no refunds could be issued instead which is absolutely ridiculous. When I asked for a manager I was told I’d have to wait 30mins if I wanted a refund! After a few minutes the manager returned to the premises and instead of having any empathy or understanding regarding my complaint I endured even more attitude from him, he did not apologise he threw my change at me and also had the audacity to ask me never to return to his store which lets face it I would never dream of going in there again. This behaviour and service is shocking!!!! I suppose having a 3 star food rating which is displayed on the reflects on the quality and bad service. Think twice before ordering from here and most definitely check your food if you dare take it away. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING !!!!!!!!

Nice for a quick meal and quite clean and tidy inside. Prices are a little high.
