McDonald's in Camden

The food is the same as always, let's say it was good, there are delicious options of vegan burgers and vegan bites. The place has few spaces enabled in its entrance room but there is another downstairs that is blocked. The few tables there are are occupied and very close to each other. The bathrooms are unisex, in a very poor state of cleanliness and there are only three enabled, so there is always a wait. The service was very fast but very unfriendly on the part of the employee, she seemed to be upset with the work.

I order just one medium coke and waited for more than 25minutes still I didn’t get my drink. This is ridiculous and the service represents a bunch of incapable people. I worked for McDonald’s waiting for a drink more than 25 minutes. Then why we have go go to McDonald’s people go there to get the food quickly, that was the specialty of McDonald’s. I’m really disappointed

The staff service is very bad! There is no place for many people, and the downstairs is closed! If it weren't for my child's love of chips, I would never eat at this restaurant in this part of London!

I ordered my meal digitally and it wouldn't allow me to select a second dipping sauce. I asked at the counter and was told no. I offered to pay for an additional sauce, and was ignored. I'm not sure how much a single packet of honey mustard costs, but it will certainly keep me from returning

Not much to say about the food. A Big Mac here is the same as one anywhere else. The gender-neutral toilets, however, were another story. Who knows when it was last cleaned? 2005 maybe? Having used the toilet I felt compelled to rush straight home and get my ol' Dutch to scrub my body from head to toe with wire wool and bleach. Yuk.

Bad waiters, dirty place, poorly maintained and smelly, lousy and disgusting service. I definitely wouldn't repeat. The shake is solid and with pieces of another shake.

I would then start the review with: It's a McDonald's. For those who have never been there: loud, restless, and everything is very confusing. Nevertheless: Very clean, service was nice, and the ice cream we had there was delicious. And there too you can do things wrong (before people ask: what could go wrong).

as a regular customer over here in the Charing Cross macd the staffed name ( aamena ) who is behaving like she owns the company now I m not the only customer there is so many friends of our group like we are all delivery driver we do uber Deliveroo just eat all most of the order of the mac d we deliver and even we buy meals every day with our money not free but after doing that much work we have to listen from your staff ( aamena ) who said if you guys want anything you have to say ( PLEASE ) word like we are all here doing that hard work to provide food and best hospitality to your customers so your reputation will remain on top like as it is but this type of staff ( aamena ) will change the atmosphere of the location with the worst behaviour and if you not able to do anything plz give me the contact details of your customer complaint office so I will let them know that this whole scenario and they can take action on her cause we know I m the only person who is writing here this case but here with me there is 20 more drivers who is having the issue with the same lady and one more thing we buy the meal and added 5 katchup and 5 sweet and sour dip so the girl ( aamena ) told the counter girl that you don’t have to give that much katchup and dips to them and I m going to attach the receipt of the order which we have here just check and plz take action on this type of staff ( aamena ) who brings negativity to the customers and plz reach me as soon as possible cause I m going to try complaining this case continuously at the end of time I want results thanks for understanding and make this case serious for your own repo 👍

Meals took a long time to arrive and were cold when they eventually did. Hot replacements were wrong, order was replaced incorrectly, staff quite frankly acted like it was a huge inconvenience. Toilets were horrible too. Avoid this particular McDonald’s.

30 minuts waiting for cheese bites, If i didnt say anyhthung i would never recive it, Its a joke

Long story short: we did not get our food. We had to leave for the theatre in time, we had 35 minutes to eat. Should be plenty of time. After ordering at a terminal, we did not get anything after 20 minutes so we asked. They promised us food in two minutes. After another 10 minutes, time was up for us and we had to leave. We asked for a refund, but that was impossible because the computer system didn't allow for it. We came back in the evening, 8 hours later. The same lady helped us, she seems to have long working hours, I almost feel sorry for her. We did have time to get a refund, although the lady insisted that she could make the original order in two minutes. Well, no thanks. We got refunded eventually, but wasted about 45 minutes of time here. This place seems to be crowded all the time and the atmosphere is tense. Staff doesn't seem to be interested in customer service.

I had a disappointing experience. They gave undercooked or rotten chicken burger. The customisations made in the order was also not made. I am also allergic to lettuce and they still gave a rotten lettuce along with undercooked chicken burger.

As I sat on the bench at Charing Cross station waiting for my train, I was ready and a little excited to open the bag and see the food inside. But as I opened the bag I was shocked and quite frankly disappointed. Not only was my £1.39 quarter pounder missing, but the curry sauce was no where to be seen too! So unfortunately as the chicken nuggets were as dry as a nuns ****, I have to give this "fine" establishment a 1 star rating. I’m not angry Mr Ronald McDonald, just disappointed!

On Google, opening time shows 7 but they open their shop by 8. They also accept order online from 7 so when you order online you have to wait outside till 8. Staff is pathetic.

I've never seen a McDonald's with such filthy toilets. Toilets are unisex which I don't mind. There was pee all over the floor, pee spattered all over the toilet seat most likely from women hovering, a bit of dirty toilet paper stuck to the seat and no toilet paper left so seat couldn't be wiped before using. I can never understand why women hover, pee all over the seat and don't clean it up. I assume reason for hovering is because they are worried about germs and seat being unclean yet they are the ones who are making the seat filthy for others who either hover or get a dirty wet bottom from other people's pee! If I hadn't been so desperate for the loo I'd not have used it. All three cubicles were the same and possibly worse than one I used. It was busy with only 2 staff cleaning in the restaurant area which is why I assume toilets were so dirty and lacking toilet paper. Staff serving looked miserable and fed up which showed in their manner to customers. They were rude and abrupt with customers who questioned their order /had something wrong with their order. I saw them tell a man who had a mistake on his order that he'd have to order and pay for another burger if he wanted it without cheese. Fries and big mac didn't seem fresh, didn't taste right and were luke warm at best. Milkshake was lovely but that's about only positive thing I can say. If I'd not already ordered before going to toilet I wouldn't have eaten there. Probably worst experience I've ever had in a McDonald's I'm sorry to say.

Really busy McDonald's in central London. Not enough places to seat and the area downstairs was closed making the number of seats even shorter. No napkins, ketchup or coffee stripes available at least on the ground level as I couldn't find any and I had to ask for some at the counter. Food seemed to be a bit undercooked. Probably because they were so busy so, unfortunately, I won't recommend to pass by this McDonald's at busy times as it was a really bad experience.

Super well located, very fast in terms of serving the food and we ate very quietly, cheap and well... let's not forget that it is not a fast food restaurant but the food was very good!

One of the most discusting I've ever had.

Rubbish was everywhere bins all full up. There was two toilets in use and opened door there was man and women in there doing drugs in there arms shocking with kids around. Asked for the disabled key as my child needed a wee and that toliey has not been cleaned for hours and it was also blocked to the top of the toliet. The place was like a zoo will never use that mcds again.

Long story short: Coffee had a stupid paper lid, the toilets were disgusting, the staff were ok, there were lots of seats and orders can take a while. Pros and Cons: Pros? - Great McDonald’s to go to if you’re in the local area. - Worker guy let me go to the disabled bathroom as I needed the toilet (didn’t have a key). - Lots of seats to sit on and screens to use for ordering. Cons? - My meal did take a while. Maybe they do the meals in chronological order, but all I ordered was a cookie and a regular cappuccino. - The machines to order on lag a bit. So, if you are in a rush, order ahead on the McDonald’s app or try a different McDonald’s. - Leaving the worst for last: the toilets. In all fairness, it was about 10:30 in the morning. But those toilets were HORRENDOUS. I needed the toilet quickly as I had an hour bus ride ahead of me, so I popped into the toilets. I’ve visited other toilets in McDonald’s before (not in a weird way) and if it’s a bit too much rubbish in the bin, then it’s cool. If there’s a small puddle in front of the toilet, then it’s a bit disgusting and weird, but it’s fine. These toilets were 🤢. Flies on the walls (and ceiling), water on the floor, tissue in the toilet and/or on the floor. Ask to use the disabled toilet (if it’s not busy) or go somewhere else. If you use the toilets here, then just know that UCLH is down the road. I’ve added photos below. Additional note: The disabled toilet also wasn’t fantastic, but it was much better than the regular. Make sure that it’s not busy (in the restaurant) before you use it as there are people who cannot use the regular restrooms. Tips: • Order ahead if you’re in a rush. • Avoid the toilets. • Downstairs area is generally closed off until breakfast is finished (at least my take on it). • My cappuccino had a stupid paper lid, so pre warning if you get a hot drink.

good delivery driver but this branch of McDonald's doesn't listen to specific instructions I asked them to secure the lids of drinks and they still didn't do it, thankfully the driver was good.

Staff is very rude to customers for no reason, especially when you mention that the food is cold. The shift manager (don’t know her name) on the 28th at 2:50pm was very rude and made a statement that I don’t listen to numbers being called even though that was not the case. Do not eat here unless you want cold food and bad service.

I ordered a Sausage and Egg McMuffin for takeaway, but the food wasn’t properly wrapped and was cold, as if it had been prepared 30 minutes earlier.

Food ordered to table and didn’t arrive. Half hour later went to enquire. Metal shutters were down dividing the restaurant. Was told to go outside and back in other door, despite being disabled. Staff rude and disrespectful. Manager no help. Refused to let us eat in the restaurant despite being unable to stand. Collected food as takeaway. Cold and disgusting. Horrendous place. No respect for disability. No respect for any customer.

Staff here don’t care about the customers and will slag them off in different languages even when brought to their attention that I understand what they are saying they disrespect the customer as nonchalantly. Very poor standards and poor management of this branch - replacement of management needed disgraceful leadership and behaviour from staff

Horrible location. They purposely short you fries (you can watch them gingerly scoop and shake to remove around 25% of what you should get). They don’t let the fry oil temp recover so the fries are not cooked correctly. My chicken sandwich was stale and had hardly any lettuce. Bathrooms were a disaster. I hope McDonald’s corporate strips this franchise of the right to operate.

Very busy at anytime as it’s is a very busy area. The stuff were ever so helpful. I couldn’t go to the counter for a missing item as I went on my own and I couldn’t leave my food unattended , the lady were there helping people using the screen went to get it for me. I give a 10 out of 10 considering it’s a mad house, as it’s always packed and so difficult to get a sit.

Was trying to enjoy my food. (Which was terrible and dry btw) when I had a worker approach me and try and get me to give them a good review. She would not leave until I got out my phone. I believe her name was Runa? (White shirt in the background) this was Very unsettling. On the other hand the lady in grey Was lovely very helpful!

Great location near Cambridge Circus, with the bus stop right outside which makes it easy for me to order takeaway and not miss my bus. When dining, you can choose to enjoy the view of Palace Theatre with the busy junction of traffic and people crossing. There are more seating areas downstairs if the ground floor runs out of available seats. If I'm too lazy to visit other dessert shop, I mainly get apple pie or a donut on my way home.

Nothing to do with the service in Mexico. There are only screens two meters away where you order everything, they give you a number and the status of your order appears on another screen. I loved that the happy meal comes with apples, melon and water.

Large mcdonalds Mostly kiosks to order. Found staff were inattentive and sharp, manager. Food average, double cheeseburger squashed. Decent deals on the app. Food came out in no particular order. Good access for disabled, ramp outside.

I met Dharmik at McDonalds in Charing Cross, he was very helpful without me asking and always has a smile on his face; though it was very busy, he still made the time to help me and all the other customers equally. His politeness surprised me.

Food took ages, missed items off our order twice then wouldn't believe us when we said "Still waiting for these" didn't seem as busy as a lot we have visited. But my god the toilets 😬 Glastonbury toilets are cleaner than these! Ended up walking nearly half a mile to public ones, never in my life have I urged when going into a restroom

Everything was fast and delicious. As an American visiting England for the first time, I was curious how the food would compare. England's is much tastier and the burgers are bigger and meatier than in America, so I couldn't even finish the meal. Service was fast and the place was clean. Seats were hard to come by, but that's expected in a busy area. I was impressed.

Good McDonald's always gets it right, I don't like that the prices are creeping up but McDonald's is one of the only places that aren't overpriced but they do own the farms so have less overheads 🤷‍♂️ but that's just smart business

Pathetic service. Elderly people are waiting for cash order but no one was at the counter. I order veggie deluxe burger but patty is outside of burger with just a hint of mayo. Even the fresh fries are dry. Worst McD burger ever.

One person most of the time 'front of house' about 10:20pm on a Tuesday, would have thought with a number or theatres in close proximity you would staff up around the time shows are due to end, like alot of others we had just come out from The Stranger Things show at The Pheonix and thought we would grab a 'quick' bite to eat personally I don't call 15mins wait time fast food, I'm sure McDonald's can afford more staff on show nights.

Tried the 3 items for £3 menu but wasn't impressed by the quality of the food. The portion of fries was tiny, and the burger rather small and lacking in ingredients - very thin patty and minimal veg. Think I'll stick to the regular menu in future.

Not sure if they've had a problem with their system today or what, but many customers, including myself were waiting a very long time for our orders. Unfortunately I was waiting the longest - over 30mins. My order number 38 came up on the screen to be collected then disappeared and I was waiting patiently, however when the orders being called were 50+, I asked where my order was. I had to speak to 4 different people about it. The so called manager took the receipt and I assume reordered it again, but then disappeared without telling me he'd actually reordered it for me, and so I was still wondering what had happened to my order. By this time, orders in the 90s are being called. So I asked one of the staff members if I could speak to the manger, Bas or Baz (whatever his name is), and he refused to come and speak to me. The sheer and utter rudeness of it all. He's the manager? The man can't even manage a sentence. I will be making a full complaint due to the fact none of the staff even cared how long I was waiting. I could have literally stood there for the entire day and not one of them would have asked, 'are you ok' or 'have you been seen to?' Terribly run store, and not the first time I've had problems there, but this instance took the biscuit. Unfortunately for me it's my closest store to home, but I may change for the smaller one down Shaftesbury Avenue instead, be sure I literally don't want to see any of those people ever again. They are all so unprofessional. People are bringing back orders that the staff have got wrong, and the staff members are just huffing, puffing and rolling their eyes. Absolutely disgraceful.
