Terrible service. The food come out cold and when approached the staff about it .they were very unwelcoming . Won't be going again. Which is ashame as been going there for years

Just been to Nando’s in Kentish town and I have to say the service was exceptional. The staff were nice polite the food was amazing. I have to say a big thank you to Thomas for everything that he done for us

Waited 50 minutes for food to arrive , had to go up and ask staff twice in regards to the food to which I was told it would be 5 minutes each time , it was not 5 minutes . When the food arrived the chicken was cold and dry as it had obviously been sitting under the lamp for a long time . Would have send back the food but didn’t want to be waiting another 50 minutes . No staff compensated us or even had the decency to come and ask if the food was ok . Everything terrible .

My friends and I were going to see Blind Guardian at the O2 Forum down the road. They are regulars to Nandos so they invited me to go there before the concert. Our orders took 6, 35 and 45 minutes to be delivered, all ordered at the same time. We were late to the show and had to stand in the balcony. Would not recommend or return.

Truly terrible customer service by one of the staff members here. Discriminating against a disabled customer is completely unacceptable. Definitely would’t recommend going here.

I was really was speechless when I saw the only chicken breast without any sides! Even one olive or luttes?? And high prices for that tiny chicken breast

Trisha is AMAZING! She gave us amazing chilli jam pots and she was so sweet. She made sure everything was served properly and even when they forgot our starter she was so apologetic and quick to get us it! Thank you so much Trisha!!! You’re fab!

Not the best Nandos I've visited. The chicken wasn't cooked very well. Wings weren't crispy/looks undercooked so i didn't finish them.

Service took FOREVER. Food was pretty inconsistent with its spicy levels and way too expensive for the food given. Although, the mac and cheese side was decent but wished you could choose its spiciness level. So over all, this experience has brought quite a horrible introduction to Portuguese food and a 2 year old child with no cooking instruments could do a better job at creating a more exciting and fun experience at this restaurant.

I was really impressed with this nandos. The staff were friendly and helpful. I informed them of my gluten allergy, and they were knowledgeable about how to prepare the food safely for me. Service was quick, and food was delicious.

It's Nando's. Never had a bad meal. Quick service, nothing to scream about but nothing to complain about! A good option if you're in town for a gig.

Very friendly waiters. Anna at the counter has been very kind. Food was OK because the whole chicken we ordered were a bit too burnt. Maybe it’s just the cook or the grill not being cleaned up enough.

This review which could have been a one star review was converted to a five star review by two people only; Edith and Isaac. I am going home being valued, compensated and loved. Instead of leaving the store as an overcharged and pissed of vegetarian who was served a chicken; only because of these two people.

Only one person taking orders at the time at the till. I was then told to come over to another till, then to be told they couldn't take my orders on that machine to be moved back to the original till. Was waiting 5 minutes. Food was otherwise great.

Very kind and helpful staff. The chicken was dry and the burger didn't taste particularly good unfortunately.

Went for an early dinner with my son and arrived around 5.30pm. Got seated in the rear of the premises surrounded by screaming toddlers and their neglecting parents and a table behind us with a group of 12-16 years old who acted like they were two years of age. Ordered via an app and food came in good time and as ordered. After about 10 minutes I just couldn't stand the constant noise and crying and demanded to be moved before I lost the plot and the understanding deputy manager kindly got us seated near the front where the grown ups were seated. My son and I could then relax and eat our food in peace. Thank you to the (deaf) assistant manager who assisted us and was extremely helpful.

A lovely place to eat with friends or family.

Tender, smokey grilled chicken with an array of mild to spicy sauces to dress it with. The cajun-style sides are tasty and well-seasoned to make a balanced meal with the protein. Mash is buttery and smooth and tastes of real potatoes, which is a plus.

I always love Nando’s. A great place to eat healthy without having stomach problems. The taste is in all branches are same. But the environment was so calming in this branch I must say. Loved their food and their staffs were very friendly too. In budget you can have plenty of foods from Nando’s. I love their peri peri sauce. You can enjoy your drink as much you want as you don’t need to pay again and again. So yeah I highly recommend this.

Service was good and the place was nice. The disappointing thing was the food. The bread for the chicken burger was clearly not fresh and was inedible. I couldn’t even cut it with a knife. Also I ordered after my friend but mine came first and his came 20 minutes later.

No fries, sadly, but food was yummy and quick. Cannot complain 🙌

Went to this branch the other day an havnt been tk a nandoes in a while was glad we chose to come here got seated quickly food was delishious good portions an staff in this branch are so warm an welcoming makes compared with other branches so much better will defo being doing our girls lunch here again soon

We waited 45 minutes to eat. The food never arrived as they told us that they forgot to serve it so it became cold and they had to throw it away (another member of the staff gave us a different story later). Then the manager came and she told us that they were sold out of everything, so they proposed us a refund. When we asked about the food that never arrived, a member of the staff answered really rudely. Place really disorganised. If you are in the area, and you wish to eat to Nando’s go to The Chalk Farm one. There is no comparison.

I had a early evening meal here yesterday and the food was great as usual. The staff were nice, polite and very helpful at all times,, definately worth checking this place out.

My mom and I were traveling far from home and were having a lot of trouble with finding our accommodations. We needed to access wifi but were having trouble getting connected to wifi through Nando's. At our absolute wit's end, the manager Sab came over to help us. She allowed us to connect through her personal hotspot and saved the day! Talk about a kind person! Great customer service.

Pity that this attractive building on Kentish Town High Street is taken up by a Nando's.... Have only been once and that was quite enough. Uninspiring in every way despite the valiant efforts of the staff who were very pleasant. Not much you can do with such insipid ingredients and ideas of cooking. There are a number of really good family run cafes nearby....why not ignore the chains and opt for one of these. You may well be pleasantly surprised while at Nando's, you will not.

I came here with my friends before we went to a young bane concert when we first arrived we was greeted by a lovely ladie who took our order we ordered two quarter chicken one with mash and chips and corn on the cob and another with chips and coleslaw and a whole avocado when it arrived under the mash bowl was a squashed fly and the avocado was not ripe we asked to swap our meals For Fresh which when it came it was Only half our food and the avocado was still not ripe for a big Nando’s who’s customer service and food is usually amazing but it was disgusting when speaking with the manager she walked away with a attitude which made us feel very unwelcome and dissatisfied they never checked back on us and the food was awful all in all I won’t be returning back here! Although busy on a wet Saturday evening, the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was served in a reasonable time and was entirely as expected.

I like this nandos normally very friendly staff although on this occasion the staff were clearly very inexperiencedas there was a long wait in between meals and no communication atall but have been back since and was good

Went to this branch for lunch and I got the usual, the Butterfly Burger while my wife took the Chicken Butterfly (same thing but without the bap) . Although it was not too bad, it lacked love and affection. (It properly didn’t help being New Year’s day!) It didn’t have much crispness but it tasted more like it was parboiled. This could be the result of the fact that they had just opened and very likely the griddles were not up to full temperature and when the food arrived it wasn’t exactly piping hot! Without the proper heat the chicken didn’t develop full flavour and crispness as it usually does. The Chips were fine but I still felt a bit disappointed about the meal as we have been to various branches and the chicken has always been succulent and yummy.

We stopped here on our way to a gig in Kentish Town, food was excellent as always, staff attentive. Would go for the peri peri hot sauce as a good choice. Would definitely go back, the staff even called a taxi for us.

Went there for dinner and I can say that the staff is friendly and nice. The quality of the food is also good, got a big glass of red for only £5 pounds! Less than 5min walking from Kentish Town station.

Visited Nando's before the Kasabian gig at the Forum last week, the food was quick and enjoyable without breaking the bank

We were seated quickly, service was good and friendly. Food was as you would expect from a Nando's. Ideally located just up the road from the forum for gigs.

Shocked by how small my portion of chicken that was dry had no taste it was terrible the salad was a joke will never go there again ....thank god ompa lumpa gave me a piece of her chicken....left the place starving....

It is the second time that at this restaurant they do not serve me what I have ordered.The first time I ordered two chicken legs and I repeated twice, "two legs, no breast". Well they brought half chicken (with breast) and I had to wait again for a leg to be cooked. The same identical thing happened tonight and this time the order was taken by the manager. Again I ordered two legs, I repeated to make sure he would pass the message, he replied: "sure". But I got half chicken again and I should have waited again for a leg to cook. I just lost my appetite and I left without even asking for a some of my money back. I'm not going back to Nando's Kentish Town.

Ótima refeição!! Pedimos sobrecoxa de frango desossada com acompanhamento de arroz picante e pão de alho. Tudo muito gostoso, frango suculento e com gostinho de churrasco! Pedimos também uma batata doce com molho de coentro e sementes e asinhas de frango! Ambos ótimos! O preço é ok e o atendimento é bom, apesar de funcionar com pedido no caixa. Recomendo!

We visited this place as we were in the area.. Ordered our food as you do at nandos.. Staff at first was very friendly.. Sat us down.. Took our order. The food come and it was very nice however I was eating my side dish which was coleslaw with the main and I started chewing on a large plastic piece which was mixed in with my coleslaw.. We waited until the end of the meal and Brought it to the waiters attention and she became quite defensive and said it happens and it's just unfortunate this has happened.. She didn't apologise at all.. A manager come and she was very apologetic and refunded the money for the coleslaw.

Popped in with my daughter early on a Saturday evening, wish we hadn't bothered.,Rude staff, dirty cutlery, staff were too busy chatting amongst themselves.Food was ok but the couldn't wait to get rid of us. Very different to our local branch.

Pre Gig dinner. Each nandos is different. I would recommend this one to anyone who loves a nandos. Was fairly busy but staff were great and food was served in good time and cooked to perfection.

Nandos Kentish Town has always been a favorite for myself and friends who live in the Kentish Town area. It re opened yesterday after a refurbishment. It's hard to see what has changed. Understandably there were first day teething problems, it took 25 minutes to get our food, which wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't for the sheer rudeness and indifference of the new staff they have working there. Apart from the staff sweeping the floor under our table while we were eating, our plates and sauce bottles were whisked away from the table before we'd finished, and we were met with pure rudeness when we asked for them back. No sooner had I finished my last bite (fork hadn't even reached the plate) before the same waitress came running over to take them away once again. We decided to leave immediately and were subjected to a series of sarcastic comments as we left and a waitress who seemed too unintelligent to realize we could hear the comments she was saying "under her breath" about us as we left. In short, I love Nandos food but will never go back to Kentish Town Nandos due to the horrible nature of the staff. My advice - avoid or order takeaway.

The food was nice and so were the staff. I went in a group of seven and we were all satisfied. The frozen yoghurt machine malfunctioned but the staff soon sorted it out I recommend if your trying to stay on a budget

I have been here many times and Isis the usual Nandos standard. The staff are very pleasant and there is constantly changing artwork on the walls, which is nice.It's not really first date material but if you are in a rush and want fuss free food at a decent price, well here you are!

Popped in for a catch up with a friend. We were seated quickly and there was no queue to order. Food came quickly and was exactly as ordered. Staff were friendly and they didn't rush us to leave when we finished our food so we say and chatted for a while longer. If you know Nandos this is a good branch. If not its peri peri chicken. It's simple, it's delicious and it's served up quick! There are plenty of choices to make it as healthy or unhealthy as you like too!

Love the nandos chain. I've been lucky enough to get great service in all that I've visited. I did find the staff at this particular nandos more attentive and polite than my local aldershot one.

I've been to Nandos Kentish town branch for the first time, It was really great, I ordered for Chicken Livers ( Hot ). It was served with garlic bread. The taste was the way I love it, The staff is pleasant and smile on their face always, My friend tried quarter chicken with a side of spicy rice, The chicken served to her was well cooked, the sauces by Nandos are amazing and the disappointing thing was the rice wasn't cooked well plus it was out from microwave I could feel it, But the staff was so kind that the duty manager replaced with a chocolate cake with ice cream and it was on the house. This was my 4th time to nandos ( Birmingham and London ) including its pretty decent meal, the atmosphere is alright,

We had a slap-up nando's with desserts and fancy drinks and the whole thing was absolutely delicious - better than other nando's I've been to.But the service was appalling... had to ask four times for plates to be cleared and our desserts to come. Really awful, drinks dumped on the table without even asking which was whose.

One of the worst experience I had since I moved in London. Staff was soooo rude! And the food.. The chicken was burn ! When we told the waitress, he said there is nothing they can do .....It was my first time in a Nandos restaurant and I am sure I won't go back there before a looooong time..!

Over cooked chicken which is a problem for a chicken restaurant, service was quick but it is ok just for a fast meal and that's about it.

People need to wake up to the blatant rip off that is Nandos…sorry, but reasonably friendly service doesn't make up for over rated fast food and silly prices…tasteless and small chicken burger with a bit of lettuce and a tomato…dry bun…dry chips and the 'fino' coleslaw was unbelievable poor….best bit about nandos is the free refills…that says it all really…my second visit in 2 years and I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Unless Nandos concedes that it is not a restaurant but an average fast food joint but not as fast in giving you the food. Half your prices and we can talk again…till then see you at Kentucky or Mcds..which are tastier and just as unhealthy…lets not pretend Nandos sources its chicken from a decent place.Couldn't even finish my food it was so crap..

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a nice gentleman who took us to our seats and then we were served by a really nice waitress. The food was cooked really well with the right spices but were small portions.

We are regular customers at this branch of nandos and are usually spot on with the food and service. However having visited recently on a Saturday evening we were shocked by the rudeness of the staff and lack of service. It was not particularly late but we preferred a booth due to having 2 small children with us. We were reluctantly on the part of the staff allowed to enter a free booth at the back. All started well and the food up to this point was great the service however went from rude to appalling. We were not told that they wanted to close the section we were sitting in if we were we would have happily moved. We wanted to eat at our pace and our children are not fast eaters. We were constantly asked if we were finished and one member of staff constantly stood near us watching us. They then started to slam chairs on tables so loud it made a bang. This was done round us and then the mop bucket came out and the mop. I checked they weren't closing for another 90 mins so what was the problem. We had ordered bottomless drinks but the drink machine in our area was shut off. We were at this point eating desert. We then asked staff what their problem was we were told sorry they usually shut this area at 9. We said so why not ask us to move. We had 2 members of staff at our table telling us they were not rushing us or aware they were rude. They then as a show started to remove tables from the chairs. My friend asked them to now leave us alone to finish but they just wouldn't go. We will never eat at this branch again. If there has recently been a change of staff at this branch it would explain a lot as until recently this was a very peasant place to eat

All the worst features of a franchise. Even acknowledging convenient location, quick service and reasonable pricing doesn't make up for dry chicken, sauces clearly out of a bag and ice cream served in a cardboard tub. Yuk. Awful experience.

We love this Nandos because it is consistent, does the job and is literally round the corner - other Nandos are a bit hit and miss, the service and food is always good here. I also appreciate the fact they actually get the vegetarian options out of the kitchen quickly, sometimes even quicker than the chicken! The red pepper dip is also bizarrely always nicer here (more 'minced' seeming) than other Nandos. Feel a bit ridiculous reviewing a Nandos on Trip Advisor but it really is very good :)

We went friends group after business meet for lunch. Chicken Peri Peri was here more tasty than other Nando's in city.My friends from the area are frequently here for meal.

Usually the food is fantastic. Sometimes on busy nights the quality is compromised, but they are always happy to rectify any problems.

I always go here with work for lunch and it's great. I love Nando's in general, but I've had one of my best Nando's here. Being a regular visitor of Nando's, you start to see the inconsistencies in some of the restaurants and you become accustomed to how you like everything cooked, passed on passed experiences. The chicken is always moist, never burnt like in some of the restaurants and they grill the garlic bread so it's nice and crispy.The only thing that miffed me, being an avid Nando's fan, was that the cashier told me about their new electronic loyalty cards AFTER I bought my meal, so I'm a chilli down.

I have a lunch date with one of my mate in nandos situated in kentish town. never really tried a nandos so was quite looking forward to it. The restaurant food did reach the expectation what i was looking forward too. I ordered a 1/4 chicken and it really tasted delicious with the extra hot sause. the thing that make me want to write this review is because I want to highlight the service that nandos provided. the host was really friendly and so as well as the waiter that took my order. I was quite amazed that in Nandos actually they look after table by table. I have this really amazing waiter name shitu or something provides me with really amazing lunch experience. he approach us with a really professional manners and he is really friendly. He came back to check on us half way through our lunch. I am really happy that my friend chose this restaurant and I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

I popped in for a quick bit with a friend. The service was distinctly average, the food was up to the standard one would expect in other Nando's restaurants - although I will not be having the red pepper dip again. My fork was dirty, the table could have been cleaner. It was a quick meal, I wont be rushing back.

The staff are inexperienced and lack the basic skills of customer service. Firstly they cannot operate a card payment terminal and secondly they don't serve chicken on a Sunday and sometimes on a Saturday. The whole point of going to nandos is the chicken. As for the staff, they are so rude. Whilst trying to get a clean glass I was ignored because they were busy talking to each other and when I asked for a clean glass they excused it was filthy and said it weren't. They're too busy sneaking off to the back to have cigarettes. Like really no wonder It's always so empty. Steer clear.
