Ordered the divine platter was mostly chips not alot of meat the chicken was lame paid a good price for a box of chips mainly wasn't impressed at all

Fantastic and historic local chippy. Great food at a fantastic price. The couple running it have been there for decades and are a staple of the Garden Quarter. A goldmine of local history and great food!

My first time ordering a take away kebab from bbq xpress and gladly surprised ! They have even proper tables inside so it is not just a typical takeaway place. I also was very surprised with the professionalism of the staff. Super fast and super correct. Not very often one can say that…) I haven’t tried the ones that are just next to them but to be honest, I don’t think I am going to give them a go! Meat and vegetables were fresh and tasted superb! I will definitely come back!

Just ordered from their currently displayed menu. Ordered 9 pieces of scampi for my wife - only 5 pieces provided (when I rang them about this, they said that they had now altered the menu to 5 pieces instead of 9, for same price), and salad was a very small piece of lettuce and a few small slivers of onion. Ordered Chilli con carne 1/2lb burger. They no longer do this, although it is still on the menu, so ordered the special 1/2lb burger, with salad etc. Again, small piece of lettuce and onion was their feeble excuse for what they advertise as fresh salad. It used to be more substantial, including tomato etc. This is far removed from what we have enjoyed from this takeaway previously. No comparison whatsoever. I can only assume that this business has changed ownership. I am sure that the previous owner and staff would never have put out such sub-standard offerings. Needless to say, not at all happy.

Terrible, pescado con papas fritas. El pescado era 100% de una caja estándar de filetes empanados que estaba muy frito e insípido. ¡Esperas pescado fresco frito en el mar, no algo que compres en cajas de 4 de Islandia u otros supermercados! A 9 libras. 90 era enormemente caro. MUY DECEPCIONANTE 😞

Beautiful handmade ice cream -Creamy and full of flavour . Had vanilla and salted caramel. Absolutely delicious

Today I visited greggs at st james retail . Unfortunately i managed to spill a full latte all over myself and the furniture. Imagine my embarrassment as the shop was full with a queue out of the door. i asked staff for a cloth so i could clean up after myself. The staff were so obliging and concerned about the hot liquid injuring myself. They refused to let me clean it up and did an excellent job themselves and replaced my latte free of charge. THANK YOU .

Very run down , tables filthy, at a guess I assume this is run by the council , enough said It was cheap if that helps , can’t believe they don’t let dogs in , the place was filthy , I would take a dog in there

Pies either over or under cooked Luke warm have to reheat when you get home and I live 3 minutes away staff pretty rude patties full of grisel yuk

I have never been disappointed here. Good, fresh fish, nice crispy batter, decent chips and good portion sizes. Recommended.

Place was spotless. Never seen a subway this clean. Normally full of littered tables & floors. Two lovely proffesionable men serving today 11.30am 14 February- nice people should be told. I was at Whitegate Drive Blackpool

They have replaced the order counter with a row of screens to order from. We went through the process whilst facing the staff who were working facing us behind them. Felt very awkward. We carefully inputted the order (a 6” bmt, honey & oat, sweetcorn, not toasted) and the machine put through an order of a footlong bmt, toasted, lettuce, cucumber, red onions. Totally wrong and we didn’t enjoy the experience.

Visit this establishment regularly. The food is always fresh and full of flavour. The staff are always helpful and pleasant, giving information on ingredients for allergies and dislikes etc. I work in catering and would be happy to recommend this bakery.

Sometimes ok other times long delays and cold food. Not great customer relations. Think it’s best if you walk in order. Pre order hit and miss. Delivery definitely hit and miss
