I called in and ordered a large cod and i must say it was the best fish i have had in along time fresh and moist

Went in for a small bite? The prices do not match quality. Cheap meat cheap everything was a shame. Wasnt that tasty at all. Woman was very miserable too Won't return, not recommended

Having been having fish and chips from Atlantic for many years, always been happy with the food. Had 4 potions yesterday of larger cod and chip, and one potion was all batter with a small piece of cod , very disappointing, as I said to our visitor it was the best place to go.

Fish was great. Chips on the other side where soggy, dry and not properly fried. Burgers are alright. I don't recommend going here.

Really tasty food, prices reasonable and friendly service. All in all really great.

I can't think of many places that will do better. Their fish and chips are marvellous, the portions generous, the staff amazingly friendly, and the variety of other stuff on the menu is a tempting eye opener.

Excellent Cod & Chips . Not oily or greasy and lovely piece of cod 👍not a long wait for the food either , yet all freshly cooked to order .Has definitely become our favourite take away

Customer service is vile. Very rude man in there with a moustache. And needs to learn some customer service. Do not recommend whatsoever.

Best fish and chips in Weston super Mare

Picked up two cod one chips and batter sausage £18.50 (sat eve). The cod under cooked. The chips were white and only part cooked.We had to put them in an air fryer to finish them off. Terrible, can't see us ever going back. Could eat cheaper at the pub with properly cooked food.

Really disappointed with fish and chips bought this evening whilst passing through. The fish was fine, but the chips were hopeless, so many black with blight. I’d always held the in town Atlantic fish bar in high regard, but very disappointed with the Broadway fish bar

Fancied fish and chip tea Friday night my wife called in.brought home for my tea .firstly grease was dripping from box.on opening I saw a small piece of fish which had slimey batter which stuck to the chips.lots of chips which were inedible as they were blanched not cooked all soggy.not worth £9.50 avoid at all costs.

Purchased cod and chips. Took me five minutes to drive home and served up food to find it was barely warm. It was very greasy and the batter was soft. I started to eat it but gave up quite quickly. Possibly the worst I have ever been presented with. I thought I would try the Atlantic as there is generally a queue at the normal fish bar I purchase from nearby. Now I know why!!

We have had a takeaway from here back in September the food was delicious, however today ordered, large fish and chips and a large curry sauce more than enough for two usually, tonight portion however was barely just enough for one. The chips were gritty, the fish was literally swimming again in oil and the curry sauce was powdery, and all this for the same price as last time. I wouldn't normally take the time to complain like this but it was that bad and i feel this couldn't be ignored.

Great food and service... The team are always happy and the food is always fresh. Had their festive fries today and OMG ... It was fantastic and so filling that the 3 of us struggled to finish it

I ordered large cod and cheesy chips some time ago (probably 3 months or so). Didn't have time to write a review until now. The chips and fish were OK. Nothing spectacular, but not the worst either. While eating I found two long pieces of hair in the batter which I pulled out of my mouth. I phoned them up and explained what happened and the man I spoke to apologised several times and offered me another free portion of the same meal when I come again and mention our conversation and his name. That's the reason why I leave a 3 star review, not less. I understand that things like that happen (although the best care should be taken not to), and I appreciate them offering a solution straight away. I noticed that a member of staff serving food (perhaps preparing batter as well) had some of her hair loose from outside the hat, so perhaps it happens when they don't take care of hiding all the hair inside the head cover. Unless it's not possible to do it, I don't know. I haven't been back to that place again, so I don't know if they would honour aforementioned free of charge meal. I'm not sure if I want to order there again. Perhaps I'll ask them to donate that money towards a charity and see if they will be ok doing it.

Chicken and mushroom pie burnt on top - inedible! Chips were okay. Unfortunately as you have to wait outside whilst they are wrapping, you don’t see what you are actually getting - which in this case was burnt offerings!

Had chicken & chips, chicken was really good. Chips were poor, as if the potatoes were stale or chips re-cooked a few times. I thought I'd treat myself to a spring roll too.... Absolutely disgusting, it was a mush & had batter instead of usual Chinese style. Will not be having that again, & request freshly cooked chips.

Found the standard fish a bit small but the taste made up for it. If we visit the area again we will go back. I guess that says it all

Recently had four portions of takeaway fish and chips to eat on the beach. Situated close enough you could drive to the beach and they were still hot, and we really enjoyed the food. If I was in the area I would go again.

My husband and I regularly buy from here, at least once every 2 weeks, and we have previously had excellent food, really enjoyed it. However yesterday, we went around 6pm and ordered our food, it was quick as not many people there at the time. However when we got home the chips were not fresh, had obviously been lying there for a while, and were inedible, we ate the rest of the meal but was really disappointed. So sad to think that they would serve up inferior chips, as I said have always been a fan, but may have to rethink and find a different Fish bar.

Too expensive for a small portions and where it is, it is hard to get out of car park it is very dangerous, would not recommend tasted ok but not worth the money

Ordered 2 cheese burgers and 1large bag of chips and 1 can of pop £13.90 so not cheap both burgers raw and cold in the middle took back and was told that's how they would be cooked in a restaurant customer service terrible only good point was chips looked nice had full refund apart from pop what I had consumed why I was waiting!!

Stopping at nearby Sand Bay ...fancied fish and chips and this was the nearest. Fish was cooked to order and was probably the tastiest fish we've ever had. Staff were very friendly and social distancing was well maintained. One portion was enough for the two of us .. bargain.

We love the fish and chips from here. The fish is lovely and flakey and the chips just right. Fish is cooked to order so comes piping hot. What’s not to like!

Haven't had fish and chips for years and just fancied it. Probably will be another few years before I have them again. They tasted nice but was disappointed with the portion of the fish, expected the batter to be crisper too.

Staff are very friendly. The food is packaged in a way that makes it go very soggy. I ended up eating fish with no batter as it came off as I unwrapped it.

We usually use the Atlantic Fish Bar around once a week as fairly local to where we live. The staff are on the whole are very friendly, I just wish that they would keep to the same three team members although I appreciate illness & holidays have an effect on this. Portions are always good & served into separate card & paper containers, no plastic here which I am very pleased to see. The fish can vary depending on the oil & who is cooking on the day. A tip would be to let the fish especially drain for a little longer as at times it can be a little oily when we go to eat it. A case of devil you know with the Atlantic Fish Bar, it is clean & on the whole the food is very good, well 80% of the time any way, the staff go a long way to keeping our custom. Parking is dreadful, always difficult as reversing out at night not easy, great care is needed, at least it is available.

Some of the best fish &chips in town well worth a visit . All food is cooked fresh ,the large cod is huge , good value for money

One small bag of chips £2.20. I could understand if it was a sea front location. How do they keep going. The chips were extremely hard. Over cooked. I have the feeling I won't be returning.

Visited 14 July 2018...admittedly it was late 8:55pm but no excuse for lukewarm chips curry sauce with no taste and part of my order missing. There's a reason I usually go to Papas!

Nos detuvimos aquí en el camino de regreso a nuestro campamento. Pedimos Eglefino y patatas, esta tendría que ser fresco, así que sabíamos que teníamos que esperar. El personal era muy amable y en ningún momento en todas nuestras comidas estaban listos. Comimos en nuestra camper en la playa justo bajando la calle, fantásticas vistas. Ambos terminamos todos los desechos que es bastante inusual. Un crédito para Weston Super Mare!
