Went for a takeaway lunch. The rissoles were the best i have tasted. The chips were freshly made as were the burgers. The staff were very friendly and will definitely be coming back. Will definitely recommend

Visiting the area and looking for a Sunday evening meal. The New High Tide Fish and Chip shop came to our rescue. Speaking to the owners, they have been open just a few weeks. The restaurant was lovely and clean, staff were lovely and the food was hot and delicious. Great price, great food and great restaurant. You can eat in or take away. We will be back when next in the area.

Not open til 22.30 on a Sunday like it says on Google. Looks to be 20.00. Disappointing trip.

Delivery was pretty quick, good price. The fish was fantastic and the Indian burger and chips was a huge meal. Unfortunately the drink was missing but the food made up for this. Will definitely go there again

Stopped here for a takeaway last night. Price was good food was terrible. Sausage was rock hard chips were dry and hard. Had a rissiole with only potatoe in it? Whats that about? Jeepers. Wont be visiting again.

Wasn't as bad as all the reviews, not amazing but not horrendous. Batter was soggy but the fish was ok. Chips were nice, plus it was the only place open locally so actually it was pretty good! Pricing was still realistic too so not a chippy trying to think it's a bistro restaurant.

Waited hour and half for delivery so I rang them for them to say it will be with us in 10, they phone me 15 minutes later to tell me its going to be another 15 minutes, although it was cooked half hour before. Absolutely shocking service. Avoid at all costs. Only given one star as zero wasn't available

We ordered two regular cod and chips . There were plenty of chips which were ok , unfortunately the cod was poor . Very flat and small about the size of a squashed rissole !! , it was overdone as if it had been left over and re fried . Not very good at all . We won’t be going back .inside looked like it needed a good clean , dirty floors and smeared glass fronts on the hot cabinets . The prep area looked grubby and untidy . 👎🏻

Bloody shocking delivery service! Ordered food 3hrs ago . Rang three times to be told food will arrive in 2 minutes. Still bloody waiting taken full payment no sign of food. Initial delivery was told will be within one hr. Given up at this point. Want my money refunded will never use this place again. Beyond shocking!

Went there for lunchtime, not open like they used to be. Had to pay £1 for parking as they've introduced an ANPR parking charge, £1 paid for nothing. Waste of time and won't be returning.

My wife and I were in Llanneli and decided to stop and try as it looked nice from the outside. Big mistake, very unhygienic looking place, 2 half eaten meals sat on a table with flies buzzing round in the restraint area with no one bothering to them away, pans in the kitchen looked like they hadn't been washed in months. Fish was oily and awful, chips disgusting, threw into the bin where it belonged. I believe from other reviews this place has new owners so maybe used to be different but we won't be going back again.

Chips seemed reheated. Fish was good as well as sizes but unfortunately not worth the money.

Ordered a veg burger and ended up with a chicken burger, no apology when I rang to ask for the burger I actually ordered. Food was also late and rest of it was cold. Used to be a great takeaway but has gone downhill so won’t be ordering from here again.

I have been there before but new owners are now in charge.I called in on Friday night and waited nearly 40 minutes to get served as they had no chips ready.Not sure if I will call there again.

Waited almost an hour for our food to take away. Chips weren't cooked very well. Really disappointed as it wasn't cheap

Had fish and chip from here thinking it was just a fish and chippy. Turned out to be an indian restaurant too. The bread coating on the fish was too orange, I don't know if they used any seasoning but that's not the type of fish I like. Also there were red bits on the fish, again not sure if it was seaoning or blood. I asked for well cooked but neither the fish or the chips was done to my liking. Some of the fish inside was odd colour too. Ended up in the toilet straight after eating and spent a fortune and had to throw most of it too as it was not edible. I will personally avoid this place.

I have been to this place a few times now due to the low prices but never again. last time I went there I ordered chips and nuggets but the chips were undercooked and the nuggets were not a good colour kind of greenish. It was disgusting and I don't know why this has 4 stars maybe they used to serve good food but something has changed for the worse. Also it seems as they don't care for the pandemic as people don't wear masks behind the counter or just as a customer. Defiantly not spending money here again

Still during a pandemic, I went in to find 5 staff members there all with masks under their noses. Not a bit, completely. Then 2 men come in with no masks on at all. The staff said nothing to them, served them and let them sit in the waiting area with other customers unchallenged. The chips were rubbish too. Its also now an Indian restaurant. Definitely will not use again!!!

Under new management again, let’s just say I wish the tide was high so I could row the f*ck away from this place. Was stinking inside, staff were clueless and their customer service was just as bad, had a few raw chips in there too.

just had an indian burger from there. chips was also awsome. it was the best ive ever tasted. will be going every week there when caravan parks open.

I ordered Chicken Tikka & Chips and it was delicious! The chips were soft and crispy and the chicken tikka cooked to perfection and flavoursome! Will definitely go back again it’s my regular go to now !! 100% recommended!

The chips were really nice my wife had a wrap which she said was delicious the food came earlier than time specified and was very hot will be going there again soon

This used to be the best chip pie in town but since under new management it’s awful. Food was over cooked and greasy. Never again ! Only gave one star because it won’t allow me to give none .

chips are green but they might not be green anymore since the last time I went was a year ago because once I saw a green chip I was out the door.

Went there for a lunch break while back in college. The service was amazing the staff were really friendly and patient while I was ordering food. The chips tasted freshly cooked nothing was brunt. Will be going there more often for lunch breaks!

We have just got to pembrey with out fish bites and chips with the children purchased from High Tide - which we waited over half hour for - fair enough they were busy so we waited and if they’d been worth it I wouldn’t have begrudged the wait. But what we didn’t expect was £12 worth of raw chips, so bad that some of them were actually still hard (as they were trying to rush them) and fish bites full of bones so that the kids couldn’t eat any of it at all. So disappointing as we’d been looking forward to a treat all week.

First time here freshly cooked cod and chips sat outside as I understand inside is closed off sat on the outside decked area perfect Sunday afternoon finish with the grandchildren after the beach

Was having a lovely chat with the chef, and seeing that I couldn't decide between a spicy curry or some fish, he was like "I got you fam" and made me a special dish off the menu, a cod with a spicy massala batter! and it was delicious! the fillet was tender and full of flavour and the batter, while not too spicy, had a lovely interesting flavours within it's crisp layers, really amazing! I opted not to go for the chips as i'm on a diet, but will definitely come back to ask for this! Try asking for a spicy massala batter and hopefully they'll make another one, would recommend!

Just popped in and had a amazing g meal I had the Tandoori Shaslick and hubby kebab in pitta Cant fault the food it was so lovely and tge chicken melted in your mouth If youve not tried a Shaslick you need to Especially the Shaslick sauce The owner and young lady who served us where very polite and enjoyed chatting away to us We come frim Birmingham. Dudley and i will be coming back here as the food is worth teavelling for and the customer care

Not been here since well before lockdown and first time since new owners. I will not be returning. Worst Fish and Chips i have had for a long time. Kids sausage and chips were equally bad. Chips were very greasy and undercooked. Fish was old, slimy and greasy and the sausage re-heated many times! Kids said it was like cutting into a raw carrot it was that hard! The curry sauce was like water and the mushy peas were cold and needed reheating when we got home. Worse £20 i've spent since going to watch the Swans! Absolutely awful! Update - Sept 13th Owner asked me to contact him for further details, which i did straight away. Still has not replied! Shame, if you are not interested in satisfying a disgruntled customer then why pretend to be interested.

After reading a couple of bad reviews, I wasn't expecting too much. I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent and highly attentive service. We asked for 2 x standard size cod and chips. Just one of those would have fed both us and someone else besides. Loads of chips. I would have given it 5 stars if the chips had be more well-done and crisp.

Do NOT eat in at the high tide llanelli ,me and my family went to the high tide and sat out there for an HOUR before getting our food and after waiting and receiving our food the price was 70 pounds.The service is terrible.Everyone else got there food before us and it was extremely cold as I have said before.In the end everyone was disappointed at the end l.We were all cold and moody and it was an end of a good day,the food wasent even that good.

Management are rude we sat waiting for our food for an hour as they found it more important to serve the take away customers first. Spoke to management who said they were busy yes they were busy serving take aways while people sitting in had to wait. Food pretty chap too

Bought take away fish and chips family down for the week so thought we would have a treat.Ordered five fish and chips got home to find had only been given 4 fish. Food really bad quality chips tasted reheated and old. fish tasteless and quality bad. Only live around the corner but won’t be going there again

To all please stay well clear the fish is frozen and the batter was 1 inch thick the chips were in eatable and I throw it all in the bin wouldn’t even give it to the dogs.

From being the best chippy for miles this is now by far the worst. New owners have put up the prices and lowered the quality of the food. I did not expect to get a half cooked sausage (I'd ordered large and got small) with the chips being so full of grease that I threw them away. My guess is that the next hygiene assessment from the County Council will (like Morgans in Carmarthen) drop the figure from 5 to 1. Behind the counter was not something to describe here. Readers are warned to be very careful.

If you want some chips with your grease then this is the place for you. Gravy like water and batter hard in grease.Sign said oap small fish but they said they only did regular and large but regular was tiny.£15.00 quid of food in the bin, even dog wouldn't eat the fish Avoid avoid avoid

ordered fish and chips and well as other food for the family. Ordered a regular cod and was about the size of 3 mouthfuls. Very poor size. The batter was overdone so this became very hard, and chewy and the batter was dark. Also found 2 bones in my fish which was bad. The spicy chips were of poor quality and very greasy, and my sister complained of her batter on the sausage being too hard, like a rock. Would not visit again.

Service was not great and there seemed to be a lot of confusion. The food was also not the nicest and did not sit well with anyone afterwards. I have been here previously some time ago and it was just not like this.

Don't have the kebab trust me. Not nice at all, really greasy and wasn't on a spit so can only assume it came out of a bag. Also had some sort of weird red sauce all over it. Chips were ok.

I hadn't been here for a long while but i remember enjoying a Rissole chips and curry sauce from here before but I think it has now changed management as I noticed it is now an Indian and a chip shop which I thought was an odd combination and was a bit sceptical but seeing as no other chip shops are open on a Sunday I went for it. Poor choice. The chips were soggy and horrible. The cheese rissole was tasteless and didn't even taste of any cheese - I basically had potato with a side of potato. my partners fish bites were not very nice as the batter was chewy and the curry sauce was just tasteless and quite watery. I will not be calling again and will opt for a different take away on a Sunday instead.

The shop has changed ownership and is now an Indian but are still opening with the original signs. The original shop had lovely food but there is now a new Indian owner who was very rude to the other staff and the chips were completely undercooked and tasteless. The curry sauce was lumpy and had no taste. The worst chips I have eaten!

Let it be said if I could give a half a star I would of. By far the worst experience I have ever had with a take away the quality of food was poor. For instance the onion Bhaji was full of flour and was the texture of dough the chicken in the curry was all pre cook and the naan bread was the size of a small Desert plate and not for getting the chips which where Missing and had to be delivered 10 minuets later after we had consumed the meal, so they went in the bin. The worst £28 spent on a take away ever. But that’s my experience

Ok... We came here for some sausage and chips, but as we got to the till, I noticed Mould on the Rolls they were selling, I told the lady behind the counter and she threw it straight away and apologized... But, we checked the rest and couldn't see anything. So we bought one (as it does happen sometimes) left with our food and as I took the wrapping off the roll, it was also mouldy, that's not good. I can only assume the others were too. That wasn't the best experience I've had. But... This is a big but... The chips were very nice, the "no-pork" beef sausages were nice. A little sickly, but nice and the fish cake was great. I understand that whatever culture/religion the owner is doesn't do anything with pork, but it's not quite the same. Pork & Beef sausages are stunning from our local butchers. But beef isn't the same on its own in a sausage. The building inside was very nice, clean, plenty of things to choose from like food. Sweets and drinks. Plenty of off road parking and nice staff. So I would recommend, but don't buy the rolls without checking them properly first.

Didn't want to give it a star but you have to, walk in cafe was freezing cold, placed our order,paid and we waited, and, waited we were both freezing cold,The owner and cook was more interested in a differents on the till then taking care of us,we were the only ones in there if we not paid we would have walk out. Where do l start with the food well it was terrible.We order two large fish and two standard they were all about the same size and the chips were dinner time ones mixed with some fresh one horrible, please give it a miss a waste of money.

SHOCKING!!!!!The worst food I have ever purchased from any fish & chip shop.The fish was like plastic to touch, needless to say I didn’t eat it. The chips tasted like they were warmed up from lunchtime. The batter on the fish was terrible I just could not eat it. See photos......the pictures does not really show how bad the food really was.

Visited second time and took my elderly parents for a treat. Food, I have to say was first class as it was the first time I visited, unfortunately, just as before the waiting time was ridiculous even though we were the only customers in there. Came very close to walking out. Also as the weather was getting colder, we were freezing in there. It’s a shame because as I said the food is good. Won’t be calling again and won’t be recommending to others either.

A really Good fish and chip shop friendly staff waited for it to be cooked didn't disappoint tasty and plenty , the eating in. Area looked good an very clean.

Went there with my partner and my child, who is 3.We got litle attention from the staff, we were stood at the serving counter for 5 minutes while staff were wandering about. Eventually got served, sat down awaiting our food, took about 20 minutes, chips were extemely dry and hard, brown baked beans, sat around for a while food. Definitely not cooked fresh.
