Awful meal and service terrible

Rude staff and food looked like it was squashed together in a rush.

Clean as most maccies are. No riff raff teens which is great. Burgers and wraps thrown together with little care, triple cheeseburger patties were more off the bun than on. Wasn't busy enough to warrant saying they couldn't make the burger with care. For what's being charged nowadays just make the burger fit on the bun. It's sloppy and makes you think 5yr olds are in the kitchen. It's just maccies but does that mean just throw everything in a wrapper and say that's a basic job badly done? Puts you off going again or go to one where the manager has some sort of quality control of what leaves the kitchen. Poor job with no care. Manager needs to have some sort of control or what's the point of them being there and doing nothing, evident in what was given to us. I wouldn't recommend eating at this branch, I'd be embarrassed if I was a manager or owner here.

Tasty quick reasonable priced food.

Ordered food from here yesterday cold and some of the food was missing I phoned them to tell them something was missing I was told to contact customer service and they would sort a refund out for me I done that but customer service are telling me they can't do the refund I need to speak to the delivery team I shouldn't have to do that they got the order wrong so they should sort my refund out

As usual have to wait at the end window for fillet of fish, waited 7mins by which time my coffee was cold, then drive off only to find that there are no fries, this type of thing is to be expected at this branch , they have benefited from my money whilst not supplying food ordered on too many occasions.

What a lovely place along the river. Food was lovely along with hot drinks. Lovely little gem.

Advertised as open 24 hrs, picking up someone from train station at 1.30am and main restaurant closed, had to walk around to drive through window with no menu visible, and staff unwilling to tell us what was available (We rarely visit but it was the only option available at the time) the only response we got was "cheeseburger?" Possibly expecting too much for the small hours of the morning, but it was a disappointing experience.

Service is fast and the staff I've encountered always seem very friendly and helpful.

Ordered 2 meals at the counter with a pleasant human it took 30 seconds to complete and arrived on the table piping hot in no time. Well done to all the staff

Very poor at delivery and placing correct items in bags. Service is terrible and food is cold this isn’t the first time items are missing. We phoned the restaurant, manager wasn’t interested just blamed uber when the package was delivered completely sealed upon transport within time frame. Wake up McDonald’s

i order 3 eggs muffin this morning They only give 2 in the bag

Although delivery went smoothly, it was unfortunately the only positive of this order. Spent £25, only to receive one of the two burgers, stale, dry, and underwhelming fries, also drinks were half full. I got a small refund that doesn't make up for the money I wasted. Need recommendations somewhere else to order.

Knowing this branch can be hit and miss, it all depends on time of day. Having a breakfast wrap and hot chocolate both were piping hot and very nice, followed by an extra hash brown which again was very hot. Granted it was quiet and breakfast time but unfortunately with these establishments when they are busy they do unfortunately let the standards slip. As previously said I have changed the times I come here and tend to have less issues. Food was nice and tasty and I do enjoy the occasional brekkie.

I don't know what they've done to their chips but I'll never eat them again. Absolutely horrible. My burger was more half and half as in half of it was in a bun and half was out 😅. The store itself looked clean and presentable and I liked their recycling for all of their food waste products. Apart from that I even threw the coffee away, came away hungry and disappointed. No maccies for me I guess.

Typical macdonald's. He must have been a new guy behind the counter as he couldn't get the order correct and tried overcharging. We all have yo learn. But don't tuck people up hy charging more!

Arrived at this mcdonalds at 5.30pm, a long wait just to place an order, machine not issuing receipts staff looking unkempt, straws,bags, crushed on floor. When the order arrived the fries were all over the bottom of the bag, burger just about warm.

As a McDonald's go, it was very clean, and food was perfectly prepared which is not often found

i ordered a burger with NO cheese, i opened the burger and there was a LOT of cheese!! not good mcdonald’s!!!

Just had food here, this is my updated review from years ago. It's still a hit and miss place. Gave us the wrong drink, wrong burger, their cheese dips are always under cooked. Swansea Services is a lot better. Bit of a distance but at least they do their job. The drive through here is also really bad. You are waiting for at least 5 minutes in most cases.

we waited over 30 minutes for our food and when it arrived it was cold and we had items missing. it was very slow service and staff were rude and miserable. after waiting for 20 more minutes i finally received my drink. only come if you have time and money to waste. the strawberry lemonade was okay though

Can't really call it fast food. Waited approximately 20 minutes on click and collect via app. Customer service wasn't really evident, a smile and a hello goes a long way. I understand its a pressured environment I've worked in hospitality, but not 1 member of staff smiling or interacting with customers. I'm all for recycling, but cardboard knives and forks are a joke. I only had a grilled chicken salad, and they were bent & unusable in seconds just trying to cut lettuce, couldnt cut chicken, onion, tomato or cucumber. Went back to the counter to get another one. Ignored for quite some time, when I did get a staff members attention after several minutes, having been ignored by many, who wouldn't make eye contact, was given several, so they must get asked a lot for extra a lot, still no smile, apology, actually no words at all. Chips and chicken were cold. It wasn't busy and loads of staff working so not unreasonable to expect hot, fast food, and a friendly smile.

I wanted to pay with cash and was left waiting for 10 minutes, staff just walking past with blank looks on their face. When I finally got served they missed a burger off my order and the fies were cold. Will not be going back any time soon.

Absolutely rubbish! The mcdonalds app never works, get told to then drive to next window to try and find my code and they cant find it. I asked can i order at the window then. Was told no i have to drive around again. Finally order food and pay get the collection window, to be told the bag is ripped and be careful. (Okay work in customer service and food something breaks replace it) ask if sauces are in there was told yes and there wasnt. Then to come home with my sons happy meal with the chips stale and cold and only 3 nuggets instead of 4. I know mcdonalds basically hires young adults but my god train the staff properly!

Honestly what useless rat put drinks in a food bag? 20 nuggets, burger and McFlurry ruined £20 wasted because some useless rat can’t pack a bag properly, even worse they’ve left the phone off the hook deliberately now for over 35 minutes what a joke of a store

i had smarties in my oreo mcflurry, no onions in my burger and under filled drinks. This is not my first bad experience here.

I'll never be back after getting food poisoning from my chicken burger or chicken selects. Plus the play area outside was boarded up so my daughter couldn't play on it. Why?

Everytime I get breakfast they get it wrong!! They never listen to the order and you just get what ever they have avaliable at the time.

My wife ordered a Breakfast via "Uber Eats" (I've never used them before). Turned up 1.5 hours later! The order was missing most of the items (they literally have us 1 burger each), and what we did get was cold, soggy and full of grease. The Polish deliveryman refused to help and was actually quite rude and ended up almost having a full blown argument on the doorstep. When I rang the store to complain, the staff was not interested at all, and blamed Uber Eats (no surprise there) *IF* I go there for food, which is very rarely there is always an issue of some sort. Staff on the speakers simply don't listen, OR the staff who hand the food out are so robotically trained, and go into automatic - muscle memory mode, certain things become habit, which affect the orders. Half the time they get the order wrong, the staff on the payment window barely make eye contact or engage as front line service should, but they're ready enough to take your money (don't get me started on the pricing!) You never feel welcome there. Once you have paid they almost always walk off as soon as they get the chance or close the windows or they are speaking amongst themselves instead of concentrating on the customers - extremely rude. There is only 1 member of staff there who is actually helpful, and friendly, and that's the customer service guy called Huw. One thing that has to be mentiones is they're understanding and lack of care when serving allergen based orders. The burgers are nearly always contaminated and have to returned back to get it replaced with plain. They need serious training or re- training when it comes to this. They're lack of care, could cause serious health issues or illness. This place has never been managed properly or professionally.

It's a macdonalds, you know what you are getting and they are open all hours.

Drive through always get orders wrong even after I had to repeat my order twice

Still a sign saying 24/7 not even open please the information on the world wide Web please as I was looking forward to breakfast wrap with extra hash brown and cappuccino with 2 sugars waste my time

absolutely ridiculous, I’ve ordered a smoothie on the app and when I actually arrived they said they’re unavailable. Waste of petrol and my time.

Standard McDonald's, but limited parking.

Nothing wrong with the food and drinks, and the staff are pleasant enough however, if your stated opening time is 6am then actually open at 6am - not 5 past, 10 past, quarter past, 20 past etc. it’s bloody annoying and happens 2-3 times every week. So many people turn around and go because of this incompetence, loosing you custom. Do the Managers actually manage time keeping? Never experienced this at any other MD restaurant and I travel and use them a lot. Please sort it out.

The staff work hard, it's a shame the management, one woman in particular (sianie ?) doesn't value her staff, saw her absolutely de value a member of staff, no people skill whatsoever ever, should be sacked, the staff try to keep it tidy and clean, all the whole getting orders out, it's a Very busy site and normally short staffed, being disabled whenever I try to sit at the accessable disabled seat its always got families eating and when asked politely if disabled most either ignore you or are rude,

We were confused once we pulled up on where the entrance to the restaurant was as it was dark. We eventually found the path leading to the front door via an embarrassing walk into the back door. I ordered the food once in while my partner looked for the toilet, which should also be straightforward, but there was a line of chairs blocking the one half of the establishment of the half where the water closets were situated. A nice gentleman was kind enough to put my fiance at ease and let her go through to use the bathroom. Table service was quick and friendly. There was no dearth of options to choose on what to eat but I always go for a big mac and it didn't disappoint. Can't go wrong with a McDonald's, but just maybe some lights to show the footpath and if cleaning the one half of the restaurant maybe keep the path to the toilets clear.

Since moving to self-service, apps, and delivery support McDonald's is no longer "fast" food. Too many orders and not enough staff to fulfill them. That said, this was a nice McDonald's, clean on the day we visited

Casual. Coming to Wales to eat an infamous and poorly prepared “THING” is truly sacrilege!!

Very good all round by this mcdonald's, we did a park and collect service. Sat outside and enjoyed our meals. Parking was plenty however the drive through was jammed up to the main road when we arrived and still 45 mins later when we left.

The staff here are so bone idle you can barely believe it. We went to the first window and they gave us our drink and told us to go to the next window, where we were left for over 10 minutes whilst everyone behind us got their food straight away(all they needed to say is there’s a wait on your food would you mind going to the next window, it’s that simple). When our food was ready she may as well have shot putted it into the car, we didn’t even have a chance to ask for sauce. She then walked past us again in super speed so we didn’t get a chance to ask for sauce a second time and I had to eat dry crusty chips. I don’t expect much from McDonald’s but this place is shocking

Came back here after avoiding because of wrong order and dire food. Gave it another chance, low and behold given the wrong order, paid for a dbl big mac got standard one and a measly portion of soggy greasy chips. Won't be coming back, worst maccis by far.

The floor is often like an ice rink with the amount of grease on it. The food is not as nice as other McDonald’s I’ve been to and there is rubbish everywhere outside.

The worst McDonald's. Orders always wrong, items missing when you've paid for them and the chips are stale. I try to avoid going here if I can.

Carmarthenshire McDonald's have disgraceful staff with there bad attitude, aggressive over bearing actions forcing me to take back my cash which I had handed at first. All due to me trying to pay with a beautiful Scottish ten pound note. Legal sterling currency of our countries but with there racist attitude to the money and bad attitude to myself it turned into quite a scary experience. Never go there again.... And definitely never recommend this place to anyone ever. Take note guys.

Despite ordering on the app 6 minutes before close, they still accommodated my order. Much appreciated - food was great too. Thank you to the entire team - I know what it’s like when cleaning down and an order comes through as I work in hospitality and I hate to do it but I was absolutely starving after finishing my shift so thank you for accommodating my order - you were the only place open.

Great place to get a quick snack

Went there this morning to be ignored at the drive through. Sat for 5 mins at the order screen. Nothing so drive up to the first window. Still nothing. Drove to next window and beeped horn. An employee looked at me and walked away. Went to last window. Was seen by an employee who then hid in the corner. This was just after opening time. If they were not ready to serve me not a problem but at least tell me and don't hide away around the corner. Not the best way to treat a customer.

Terrible service gave us wrong order when we arrived home thinking we were going to have our order we found out they gave us the wrong order that cost £10 less Very annoyed!!

Second time the bun came bent from different restaurants. One in England one in Wales.

Be careful sitting or leaning on the tables due to lack of cleaning you might just get stuck to them...shame on them...and it makes me wonder if the tables are so dirty then what's real care is taken with our food...and I was there a few days ago and my cheese burger looked like it had been in a car crash and the airbags failed 🤔

It's very busy and very hard to find parking. Saying that the service was good. Staff do go above and beyond to help. The customer assistant was very helpful and ensured the food was delivered to our car even though we had parked it slightly away from the place due to a parking issue.

Absolutely terrible I don’t know why I keep coming back to the place! Foods always cold, if it’s not cold it’s stale and hardly cooked! I had a double cheeseburger last week one burger was all mushy and not even cooked! Soon as the chicken nugget entered my mouth I spat it straight out was like rubber! And it only seems to be carmarthen McDonald’s, every other one is perfect and foods lovely!

Terrible service waiting nearly 50 minutes for my meal. Staff didn't seem to care either.

Ordered a delivery and the first time they forgot to put in the happy meal and the second they forgot the apple pie and four fruit bags! There’s no way of me getting in contact via email or through app.

A good McDonalds. Only ever been through the drive through but have always received what we ordered in a timely manner so there isn't much more you can ask for. There is a children's play section if you are looking to eat in. Parking is available for free but it is usually pretty busy so you might need to go elsewhere.

Although it was very busy, the toilets were extremely filthy. If it wasn't for the fact of a long journey still ahead, and very hungry children, I wouldn't have used this establishment. Use this McDonald's regularly, but I have been disappointed quite a few times by the lack of communication with orders. I had ordered 2 double cheese burgers but only got 2 cheeseburgers, and again, on another time, ordering a burger had to go around again as there was no burger !? Due to it not coming up on screen !!?? Yesterday, I ordered 2 burgers, and it had no onions or mustard 😋 in them, so yeah Prices for a burger has gone up from about 69p to £1.19 Crazy can't even get a burger right 🍔

We visited this McDonald's whilst on holiday in Kidwelly. We live in England and there seems to be alot more pride taken in this mcdonalds than I've seen in most in England the staff was very attentive and even though I was taking my rubbish to the bin they explained not to worry and they are happy to come and clean it all up for us afterwards. It is the cleanest Mcdonalds I've seen by far. Food was exactly as expected and nothing missing from our large order.

The pace smells really bad, they put at least 5-10 times more cleaning chemicals than necessary. I used to come here with friends family on a weakly bassis for over 1 year. I won't come again until this problem is solved, 10-15 good clients lost.

My Personal opinion I don't like mcdonalds but the kids do.

Shocking service, staff walk around completely zoned out! They don’t acknowledge customers unless they’ve been asked by the customer at least twice to help them with an order. The staff have no enthusiasm at all, and service is incredibly slow because of it. The staff don’t make I contact with each other let alone customers- this is particularly important when providing a service! I believe this comes down to bad management and low self esteem along with the fact that they don’t work as a team! A lot needs to be changed to this particular McDonald’s!

The food was cold, I went to McDonald's after ages, and it reminded me why I don't go there. Staff was working hard and the place was cleaner than McDonald's in the UK.

I came in last night to buy a meal for my family I left my wallet on the counter and when I realise my mistake this morning I phoned thinking it won't be there and low and behold it was there, the manager was wonderful on the phone, all my money was in the wallet when I picked it up this morning I am so thankful and to the young person that handed it in what a wonderful person you are thank you very much 😊 ❤️

Had a mix up with my order. The lady wasn’t sure what I wanted in my burger, (miscommunication) however this was rectified quickly from Owen Dyer, Joe and Mary and Jack Lewis. Excelled in customer service and smiled which was really nice. Thank you guys!
