Foods always cold even when they bring them out of back of shop and they have had rats in past 6 months twice hygiene of everywhere in shop is terrible so not recommend

We order every weekend and its nearly always over £50. When I ordered I was told half an hour. I waited an hour an half and called to be told it was on the way. I waited another 20 mins and rang and was told again on the way I said I was told that 20 mins ago and the reply was 'well I'm busy now' VERY poor service for loyal customers. Last 2 times we have had parts of the order missing. Will not be ordering again. Will go to westwoodside instead. Edit*** After 2 hours I then have to go to shop myself to find my order wasn't on the way the 2 times I were told it was and hadn't even been packed. The fella proceeded to serve others after i had explained why I was there. After waiting 10 mins in store I was handed my order. I said I was willing to pay half the bill for the inconvenience but was ordered to pay full price. I then got my food which the pizza was stone cold as had been sat waiting I don't know how long and YET AGAIN part of the order missing!! Absolutley appalling🤬🤬

Ordered a curry and chips bundle last night and the curry was very tasty. Full of authentic flavours and home made by Serena. Very good value for money too. We will be ordering on the next curry night! Well done team Malt and Salt! 👏🏻👏🏻🥘🥘 Highly recommended!

Now called Mr G’s Kebab. Been coming here for years. Again, one of the best kebabs I’ve had. I had a large Lamb Shish and it excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Last night me and my dad ordered 2 lamb Shish kebabs (normally a decent meal from here) although after finishing the meal we both spent the rest of the night/morning being sick. Won’t be ordering from there again.

Disappointed with the food we had. The chips were cold. Half of them was uneatable as they were too hard. The batter was slightly undercooked. Not sure if this place has changed hands, but the previous owner was very good.

Got a take away from here last night, wasn't expecting much but it actually turned out to be really nice. Good quality and price, everything tasted clean and fresh. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Avoid worst kebab I’ve ever had , meat dry nan stale , got side of Donna meat as well absolutely shocking !!!!! Got complimentary garlic bread , stale , dry ….. unreal , save your money In my life this be worst take away I’ve ever had !!!!!!

I got the mixed Döner kebab plate on chips, twice. It was very flavorful and tender, and a good portion! Good value for the price. If I lived in the area I would go here all the time. Be aware though, it is a cash only place.

Had one portion of cod & chips & one scampi & chips because we were told at 16.30 that they only had one piece of fish left. Food was cooked as we waited. I asked for the food to be wrapped as we were talking it away but got given a box that couldn't be closed (with a shrug of the shoulders) due to the only good thing I would say about the place & that was the portion sizes. The batter on the fish was undercooked & the fish was chewy. The scampi was overcooked. The chips are most definitely were frozen oven chips. Everything had an unpleasant flavor from what I'm assuming is the oil used to cook in. Would give no stars if possible for the food. The positive reviews surprise me & what made me try there in the first place.
