The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Fast food food

Changed review on 26/04/25 Went back here today and I must say what a difference it was. Food was great and staff very helpful I would definitely recommend. Old Review I have been here only a few times but it has been great. But this time the chips not that good and the sausage in batter was over cooked. Maybe it was just an off day.

Brilliant gluten free options and really tasty! I had the gluten free cod bites, chips and curry sauce and the food was delicious. Will be our go to chippy from now on

Fish & chips where average........I wouldn't recommend & dout we will be returning anytime soon.

Very rude staff. After waiting for around half an hour in the queue I was served by a pleasant young lady who took my order which came to just over £25 for 2 fish, chips, peas and curry sauce. I went to wait for my food to be prepared for around 5 minutes. By this point I was the only customer waiting for my food and I'd been in the shop for over half an hour. An older lady came to give me my food. As she was calling it out I walked over whilst nodding and went to take my food that I'd ordered and paid for. She snatched the bag back and said "is this yours?" I replied "yes" and laughed it off as her just being a bit docile and went to take my food and she pulled it back again asking "are you sure?" I said "yes" again and took my food. What kind of customer service is that? It left me confused as to what had just occurred. I won't be returning for this reason. Learn to treat people better. We customers are paying your income. Remember that. There'll always be other places of business to purchase food from and maybe they'll treat people respectfully.

Anchor Fish and Chips put together a big order for us and did an excellent job. The quality was great, they were so helpful and provided such a fantastic service. Everyone commented how tasty the fish and chips were and will definitely be back! Thanks again

Some very dramatic one star reviews on here! Never had an issue - pizza bases not soggy like some places, and come with loads of topping. Other bits have tried - fries are crisp (not soggy microwaved) and chicken wraps which have a good amount of chicken in. Do a half hour round trip car journey to get food from here as better than anywhere else local

Wowza!! I am a pie connoisseur & these are THE best pies I've had in donkeys! Steak n peppercorn sauce, Hot Pot Pies, all sorts!!! Hot, fresh, immense! Served with a smile too - beautiful people and equally tasty scran. I'm deffo coming again (from Newcastle upon Tyne, just for more!)

Now called Mr G’s Kebab. Been coming here for years. Again, one of the best kebabs I’ve had. I had a large Lamb Shish and it excellent. Highly recommend this place.
