I came here to pick up an order and decided to get myself a sausage roll. I would have preferred the ham and cheese pie, but they were out. Was it nice? Yes, would I buy it again? Maybe not. It was a bit pricey (for me) at £2.85...

I visited this Galloway's this afternoon. On arrival the staff didn’t seem happy when I walked in so I said “Oh, i’m sorry, what time do you close?” To which another staff member who was stood in the corner on her phone said 4:45pm. I asked for my order along the person I was with. It was a basic order and the woman had to keep asking what we ordered. How can you forget 2 salad barms? She wasn’t friendly what so ever and didn’t smile. I asked for 2 sauces and she gave me 1. The sandwiches which she made up had hardly any salad on. 1 cucumber, 1 tomato and 2 onion rings. She then put the deserts in to a box and didn’t put the sides in. Just laziness. I spoke to the person whom I was with and said I’ll be putting up a bad review on TripAdvisor and funnily enough, I noticed I had put a review on in November 2015 with a similar review that the staff are unfriendly and rude. Seems like nothing has changed since I last visited. I won’t be returning either especially the prices you pay and poor quality. Talk about service with a smile!!

I go to this shop -out of my way . The pie’s sandwiches and cakes are exceptional. Sensibly priced as well . Really helpful staff . Fully recommend

Amazing bakery. Super friendly staff and delicious treats. Ordered a selection of treats and all were fresh and delicious. Also ordered a steak pie and chicken pie, best I've tried anywhere.

Ordered 3 minced steak pies and the woman give me 3 meat and potato, after a 30 minute round trip to get back there her excuse was they had none left no sorry no nothing ....how hard can it be to give the right pies? 🤷

Superb selection of pies, pasties, sausage rolls, cakes and all sorts of delightful looking food. I couldn't resist the fresh out of the oven Steak pie, amazing bakery, lovely staff!! What a find for an out of towner, wish it was my local bakers 😎

Food rank the staff get treated terribly. This is from one visit. Also the owner deals in race horses so suspect he serves horse meat.

Pies and pastries are ok, sandwiches can sometimes be stale. And its getting overly expensive for what it is.

Ideal location with on street parking outside bakery or small car park opposite. Lovely tasting pastries and fantastic cakes especially the Manchester Tart. Always a great service from staff!

Can’t go wrong with pie, peas and gravy! Sandwiches are nice and they do a nice kids box. What more could you want for a quick dinner? Oh yeah the cakes are good too 😏

Been let down again, fourth consecutive time the chunky steak pies have gone in the bin, full of grisly tough cheap meat, won’t be using Galloways anymore....too expensive to just throw away 😟

Went last Friday for dinner asked for a turkey salad with no tomato (emphasized no tomato) staff member said she would just take the tomatoes off an already made barm it would be ok. Do staff not get trained on allergies and how bad it can be for people.

They have the best steak pies. They are not the cheapest but are well filled and good pastry. The cream cakes are good too.

You got to try there steak pies there out of this world so good and they do other variety of Pies andbarm cakes with cook meat onthe with salad and nice cream cakes

Nothing tastier than a Galloway's patty pie. Great friendly staff. Good choice of snacks - pies, pasties, sandwiches and cakes.

This outlet is well used by locals which of course is a good sign but many people from the local industrial estates visit for breakfast & Lunch deals which are very good, on the main through road easy to find and well worth a visit.

Nice food but don't get enough salad on your rolls, very mean with there portions also staff don't listen find myself repeating myself several times .All need to be 're trained in customer service..Also not everyone likes mayo on there rolls should have options of with out mayo..spat mine out as didn't know it had mayo on so wasted my money..Went back the next day to tell them and they didn't seen bothered so I was not happy the girl said they all have mayo on which I find had to believe.. so not happy at all crap customer service

Lovely little shop very clean pies amazing and sandwiches also can be made to order 😄 the strawberry tarts are to die for in here most days on way to work. Very friendly staff too 😄

My daughter bought some chunky steak pasties they where awful all gravy except for one piece of gristle. We could not eat them what a waste of money

Staff miserable and ignorant, was like walking into Star Wars Cantina! Customer service skills wouldn't go amiss.

The food is good apart from that the staff are very rude. Won't even smile at you, very poor customer service not welcoming what so ever.

This shop sells the best pies for taste and bigger than most other bakers. There is parking on road outside and nice size car park on opposite side of the road Staff are very good and friendly
