The best restaurants serving Default food in Harlech Gwynedd North Wales

I was treated by a friend to a wonderful stay at Castle Cottage. The bedrooms were beautifully appointed, dinner from the Residents' Menu was delicious & well presented and the help & hospitality from Pattra & Darryl was exceptional! Perfect place to stay!

Perfect location for anyone doing the Wales Coastal Path. Unpretentious, good quality food, great value for money, and very good coffee (if you need an Italian-quality espresso to follow a no-nonsense fry up). Don't waste your time schlepping up the hill when you could be dining here instead. Fish and chips available Fridays and Saturdays too.

Excellent in all ways and thank goodnes a small business that is just that. If you want a Costa then move on. The owner was so gracious and interested in us as visitors. Really reasonable priced items in the shop when you compare with other shops in North Wales.

Great for ice cream and chocolate . The ice cream was so delicious, Definetley worth visiting on the way to Harlech Castle and beach. The lady was lovely and very knowledgeable about the area and the products.

Great location, coffee is so so.

If ever you visit Harlech Castle and need cash for the carpark, this is a must. "Cash machine" facility available inside that gives coins. The staff are excellent and friendly. The pumpkin soup is to die for. Cafe incorporates a gift shop, wool shop, comfy seating, terrific back ground music to eat your lunch/ tea to. Can't wait to go back.

Fantastic cafe opposite the castle. Laid back friendly vibe, awesome cakes & hot chocolates.

.The service was quick and extremely polite. The food was very good and the price fair. We sat outside with lovely views. Two of us had the specials lamb baguette and Seafood Platter.

Love it, we went there every day of our holiday. Ate their several times. By the end of the week we knew quite a few people from the neighborhood just by hanging out in the pub. There's also a great kids park around the corner

We stayed for one night in this guest house which had excellent reviews but we were deeply disappointed, the room was very cold and the radiator was off to keep warm we used a small electric heater which was in the wardrobe hoping it wouldn't cause a fire; we had asked to have dinner and we were asked to go strictly at 6.40pm and no later, the dinner was nothing exceptional except the price was too high and not proportionate, the owner didn't give us time to finish eating as it was already ready to take away our plate; the breakfast was poor and nothing exceptional. It certainly does not reflect the reviews made by other guests and of all the places where we stayed this was truly terrible.

It might be an odd thing to write but the food from here was extremely oily. It may be that things were rushed and the fish and chips weren't strained off properly but while the food was decent I have rarely seen such grease! I recommend as you exit, turning right and walking right for roughly 100 Yards. There is a vista that looks out over the coast and across the castle, it's incredibly beautiful! Ketchup is extortionate here.

What a great place to stay centre of the town. Arrive in the evening and park, which avoids all the early morning traffic jams on the streets. Great host and locals in the pub. We had our best time in wales staying here. Definitely recommending this all 5’s⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely food, good atmosphere and background music and very friendly staff. Pizzas and garlic bread were delicious as was the salad bowl. Will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.
