Lovely food, good atmosphere and background music and very friendly staff. Pizzas and garlic bread were delicious as was the salad bowl. Will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

Stayed a few nights in Harlech, visited the castle first afternoon and noticed sign in this place near by saying the football final would be shown and to call to book a table which we did as was looking for somewhere to eat and watch the football with my two teenagers! Well we were not disappointed, lovely place to eat and relax, the pizza was made fresh and tasted delicious, the service from the staff was perfect, the two girls were busy but made is feel welcome and were very friendly and attentive, thank you. Can definitely recommend this place ❤

MY WIFE AND I WERE STAYING VERY CLOSE BY FOR A HOLIDAY. WE WERE ABLE TO BOOK AN UPSTAIRS TABLE ON TWO OCCASIONS FOR AN EVENING MEAL. WE MET PAULA ,PETE AND BRIAN OVER THE TWO EVENINGS AND FOUND THEM TO BE FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. PAULA IS VERY GOOD AS FRONT OF HOUSE WITH PETE AND BRIAN PREPARING AND PRODUCING VERY GOOD PIZZAS. INGREDIENTS ARE AS LOCAL AS POSSIBLE AND COMBINED WITH AUTHENTICALLY SOURCED ITALIAN PRODUCE RESULT IN VERY TASTY MEALS. IF YOU WISH, AS I DID, TO CUSTOMISE YOUR PIZZA THEN THAT PRESENTED NO PROBLEM AT ALL. IF YOU ENJOY A FRESHLY PREPARED AND TASTY PIZZA RATHER THAN A MASSED PRODUCED ONE AND WANT A COMFORTABLE AND FRIENDLY PLACE IN WHICH TO ENJOY IT THEN BEAN AND BLWM IS WHERE TO GO. OUR FINAL GOODBYES WERE LIKE SAYING GOODBYE TO NEW FRIENDS.

The WORST experience I’ve ever had. We had to wait 10 minutes for the chef to finish pizza’s before he could make the woman didn’t know how. While I ordered the coffee my partner went to the toilet. We took our coffees and went outside, my partner received bad news and was writing an important email. Then the woman from the flower shop came out and started yelling at him, because she found it disrespectful that he used the toilet, in an empty restaurant I might add. I’m absolutely flabbergasted as to why this woman wanted to come and accost a customer in the street for answering natures call. Some people have to go number 2, I’m just shocked as to why she had to say anything. As I said to her, what is the purpose of yelling at him, if not to shame him! And clearly she had no answer. English isn’t our first language and getting yelled at for going to the toilet (and leaving it clean) is just shocking. I paid the lady next to toilet and couldn’t smell anything. So I don’t know how the smell travelled into the restaurant well after the fact, maybe it’s their pipes? But I don’t understand the purpose of Yelling a customer if they have to use the toilet. Food smelt good though.

Can I ask one more question? can I leave a review? 😂 On a serious note I had the best lunch ever in such a friendly family run business amazing staff beautiful food, anyone who shall visit this place I would highly recommend it as it’s the best place in Harlech 🙏💖 thank you for my Jamaican pizza it was fabulous and delicious 🤤 was a pleasure meeting the locals and they was Amazing while I asked a thousand questions about welsh words and meanings 😂

The best pizzas in the world! Generous amount of cheese yet crispy and super yummy! We loved the atmosphere, the owners were really friendly and the service was 5*. Would highly recommend!

This venue could be so good and we’d really love it to be a success in Harlech! Just a few things to work on; *have the tables ready for when your pre booked customers arrive *table settings with napkins and cutlery would be great as even some finger foods need a bit of mopping up afterwards! *considering that we pre booked for a table of 7, we waited an hour and a half for our food. If you know we’re coming maybe have ingredients etc ready for us. * an itemised printed copy of the bill when you’re in a large party would make it easier to work out who’s had what *if your service isn’t quite up to scratch - some kind of acknowledgment of this might encourage us to come back again! On the plus side - cocktails were amazing and you are lovely people who were very friendly! The pizza was really good but we were just past hunger by the time our food arrived!

Had a fabulous Saturday evening with family. We would definitely recommend Petes pizzas. Lovely base and plenty of toppings. His cocktails are great too 😀 Great service from both Paula and Pete. Great take out service as well.

Took nearly an hour to produce 4 pizzas, and 3 portions of chips, while being the only 4 customers in the entire establishment. The pizzas themselves were fine when they eventually arrived, nothing spectacular (though the use of the word "spicy" was a little liberal), but we did not imagine that somewhere with the word "Pizzeria" on the signage would not be ready to make pizzas at 12:30pm on a Friday. When challenged about the length of time it was taking to make the pizzas the chef/owner first said "It's because it's all fresh you see", ok yes that's wonderful but this is the minimum I would expect from somewhere claiming to be a pizzeria. When we made the point that pizzas cook in approximately 5minutes he replied "The oven needs to be hot", as if this was a reasonable excuse... Of course the oven needs to be hot, you're running a "pizzeria"... It was a frankly baffling response attempting to explain how a dish that, if everything is prepared beforehand as it should be takes no more than 15 minutes to produce, had taken nearly 4x as long to appear. In the end we had to ask for our pizzas and chips to be put in boxes (two of which we put together ourselves because another member of staff made 2 of the 4 needed, then wandered off) to be taken away, as we needed to be somewhere else by 1:45pm. I would have been willing to let this go had they been gracious about it, but there wasn't a single apology throughout this experience, only the incredibly odd excuses about the ingredients being fresh, and the oven needing to be hot (!!). Maybe get the oven going earlier? So that everything is actually ready to make the food you're offering?

Initially, we were met with very friendly and obliging staff. The menu looked interesting but slightly pricy. We all chose what looked like a more substantial meal than a sandwich or baguette. The drinks came immediately. The food came about 45minutes after, even though there was no-one ahead of us. The burgers were very dry and missing the onion rings. When questioned, the staff said they were inside. There was not an onion in sight. The surf and turf burger had 3 small prawns in it. There was no side to the burger meals like salad or coleslaw. The prawn wrap was nice but small for the cost. All in all, we were sadly disappointed by our experience today.

Nach dem Besuch des Castles waren wir hungrig auf der Suche nach einem netten Lokal. Im ganzen Ort gab es nach 15 Uhr aber nur noch im mit Touris überladenen Castle-Cafe etwas Warmes zu essen. Zufällig sind wir dann im von außen etwas unscheinbaren, dafür um so charmanteren Bean&Blwn gelandet. Anbei ein Foto zur Verortung, ein Schild am Haus kommt bestimmt bald ;) Wirt und Sohn waren super zuvorkommend, dass Essen war lecker, der Preis fair. Sogar Deutsch wurde gesprochen. Wir haben mit Blick auf Castle und Meer im 1.OG super gesessen. Klare Empfehlung!

Friendly staff, but the food was disappointing. Burgers were very average expected better for what we paid for them. The chips were very hot but the burgers were not

Dropped in late in the day but the staff were more than happy to accommodate us for a delicious calamari wrap and chai lattes. Nice to see a venue that serves great food and seems to take great delight in doing so 😊

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good range of food, and were able to offer gluten free choices. Wonderful views from outside seating area of the castle, sea and mountains. Would highly recommend.

What a lovely place to have a coffee. Stopped here in the way to Barmouth as a friend had mentioned it to me. The staff are really amazing and friendly. The coffee was one of the best I've had. The owner said they are opening up evenings soon for pizza as they have ordered a pizza oven. They do really nice food. The shop is right next to the castle. We sat in the garden which had the best view of the castle. My daughter had a gluten free cake and said it was amazing. I will definitely return soon.

Family run business that made me and my partner a burger even though they were no longer serving food. It was a proper tidy vegan burger and it has a lovely view of the sea and the castle

Excellent food, freshly made and delicious. We had the haddock wrap and the calamari wrap sitting in the courtyard garden overlooking the castle. Really friendly staff and well worth a visit if you are in Harlech. Dog friendly.

Worst cafe I’ve ever visited. Ordered a rocket and feta salad and it arrived with no rocket AND no feta!! Husband ordered a surf and turf burger (which was more of a slider) and chips but the chips arrived ages after the burger. With regard to drinks there was no decaf coffee and only one caffeine free tea and no sparkling water!! Remarkable! Also no offer of a refund for any of the mistakes. My advice would be to visit the castle cafe opposite!!

Lovely family-run restaurant / cafe with a beautiful upstairs dining room. Staff are super friendly and the owner made sure to cater for dietary requirements including vegan. This place has only been round for 2 months and everything is new and beautifully decorated. We had the falafel burger and falafel salad, everything was fresh and fairly priced. We forgot to take pictures of the food as we were really hungry but it was nicely presented.
