The best restaurants serving Default food in Hoober Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

Hi to all who wants to know how this food is as well as service food top notch tasty not greasy taste lovely everything you ate was different not full ove fat delivery)well this is my first delivery from here I have ordered for first time and the food was great and delivery guy was lovely friendly great smile and polite and good to c a cheery happy smiling lovely man .the food however was gawjus I will try lots on this first one gunna have more carnt wait to try rest😋 I will be ordering from here again it was far away but hot and lovely would highly recommend them 5🌟s from me 😊

Gluten free fish and chips beautiful. Very good place for food. Very clean and friendly staff 👌

It gets very busy so you have to be there for opening if you want a good look around

Delicious lunchtime meal. Fabulous food, service and atmosphere.

Table reserved in advance and we arrived on time. Restaurant was busy and every table had reserved signs. We ordered food from the carvery and the main menu. Food arrived after 15 minutes and was hot. We had been sat at the table for 1 hour and 5 minutes. We were then approached by a member of staff and were told we had to give the table back as it was required to be used with another table for a large party who were due to arrive. Told staff that we hadn’t even had dessert and would only move if they found us another table. We were told to move to a table (also with a reserved sign) in the adjoining function room and when we did so, other people in there complained it was booked for a private party and we weren’t allowed to be there. We then managed to find a table in the bar area but had to help my elderly parents onto high stools. It then took more than 20 minutes for desserts to arrive. While this was happening, there were other people, some with children, complaining that they were also being told to move and were walking around with plates of hot food trying to find somewhere to sit that wasn't genuinely reserved to eat. We were never told when being seated that we could only have the table for 1 hour. There were signs stating that the function room could be hired for private use every day except Sundays (it was a Sunday). This Pub is my local for food and me and my family are regulars (several times a month). It was a joke and none of the staff had a clue what they were doing. I shall be finding a new local after this poor performance.

Unhygienic. Food made behind the counter by the lady that was serving customers, sweeping up, touching money, touching her hair etc; did not wash her hands once.

It is a great little place, the local punters are amazing and chatty owners are nice as can be and there's a rabbit in the garden area

Eva was super supportive and kind!! Food was delicious! Chicken melted in my mouth. Lots of fresh vegetables. I highly recommend!!

Chips were well done . Egg fried rice was cold . Sweet and sour chicken balls inside the batter tasty spicy. Was really disappointed

Great landlady and landlord friendly atmosphere kid friendly aswell

Nice coffee (2 cappuccinos) and 2 sausage rolls, tasted nice served warm but unfortunately one of them had a hair on it. Friendly staff but it was slow, took 20 minutes went to the cafe at the front that doesn't serve hot food. Echoy atmosphere, but nicely decorated and clean. Overall nice but the hair was very off-putting!

Honestly worst food iv had in a long time went in bin chicken balls burnt curry awful no taste chips cold best out of meal was the Pepsi never again it's rank.

This place as really gone downhill fish and chips as been digusting recently
