Went for afternoon tea, unfortunately not somewhere I would go again. Sandwiches were poor and there was a mix up so not all choices had been put on. Didn't get tea till we were half way through our food and others got tea and no food till much later. Venue is lovely but it just felt unorganized, such a shame.

Went to the garden center and called into the cafe. It was very busy but we managed to get a table. Only had drink and hubby got served quite quickly on the drinks and cake counter. There was a bit of a queue at the meals counter but it was around mid day. The meals did look pretty good there were plenty tucking in. Has an outside seating area when the weather permits. Called in today was still busy but got a table easily. Had something to eat , the gardeners platter(ploughmans to you and me ). Great if you like cheese not so great if you don't. Hubby was happy though and i nicked his ham ☺️

Went to Wentworth Gardens so tried the cafe for the first time. Had their cheesecake and Wentworth tart. I'd say it's a good cafe but nothing special. Maybe next time I'll try the Bothy. The Cappuccino medium was just all froth which was disappointing but the latte was nice. Overall, as I said there was nothing extraordinary before going there reading the reviews I was expecting something different. But I'd go there again maybe as we went just 45 mins before closing that's why.

We were greeted by the lovely Adele, who showed us to our reserved window table. Wedudnt have to wait king as I had ore booked. I am Coeliac and was the best afternoon tea I had in a long time.even a proper size scone. Adele kept coming back and checking on us with more coffee.definitely recommend especially for gluten free .

We love it here, would visit more if we could afford it, and we already visit 2-3 times a month. Caters for dietary needs including gluten free & dairy free, and can adapt orders according to need. The breakfasts are fabulous. The staff are friendly & helpful. The cakes are amazing. Gets very busy and there's no internet signal once in the building so if you're meeting someone make sure you let them know where you are before getting inside. Toilets are always clean & there is disabled access for parking, entrance/exit & toilets. There is a conservatory and a patio attached to the walled garden restaurant/cafe which allows dogs too. Dogs aren't allowed in the main section though. They also have water bowls outside for dogs.

Love coming here. Food all freshly made and really tasty. Good selection to choose from. The cakes are to die for!! No good if you're on a diet tho 🤣. Love to look around the shop whilst here too. Always busy but can still get a table. Only downside is no WiFi and mobile signal isn't great.

Superb food, and decent prices. Breakfast actually surprisingly affordable! Lovely staff, very helpful. Cakes are incredible, as are the sausage rolls. One very small thing - there’s no black pepper on the premises anywhere! So white pepper it is. But really, a cracking place to eat.

We love Wentworth Garden Centre! The food in the main cafe is lovely too, lots of choice. I had the halloumi wrap (see photo). It does take a while for them to bring the food out as it is a popular place but it’s worth the wait.

Staff members were very helpful when I enquired about allergens, even going to see the chefs to check what I could/couldn't eat, despite it being extremely busy the staff member I asked made the time to check properly for me which was super appreciated and made it feel safe for me to be able to eat there. I only give 4 stars simply because it was so busy that it was a bit overwhelming for me - the trials of going in half term I suppose!

Dear Wentworth Garden Centre Cafe, I am writing to express my disappointment with the portion size of the fish and chips I received at your cafe. I counted only 13 chips on my plate, which is barely enough to feed a small bird, let alone a hungry human! When my food was delivered, the fish was presented on top of the chips, completely obscuring them from view. I almost said, "Where are the chips?" before I realised they were hidden under the fish. When I expressed my concern to the staff, I was told that this was your "normal portion size." I find this hard to believe, as even the mice in my garden have bigger portions than this! To your credit, I was eventually granted 8 more chips, but by that point, I was already so hungry that I could have eaten the entire bag of potatoes in your kitchen. I must also comment on your serviettes. They are tiny and single ply - talk about stingy! I feel like I would need to use ten of them just to wipe my nose, let alone my mouth. Overall, I must say that my experience at your cafe was less than satisfactory. My partner and I will not be visiting again, but will instead stick with our much better local garden centre - at least they know how to feed their customers! Sincerely, A Disappointed Chip-Lover

Had festive Yorkshire pudding with stuffing and turkey, do not recommend. No taste to anything, apart from the carrots. Stuffing was missing and then brought later as soggy ball, not oven cooked at all as expected. Would have been nice also to have cranberry and pigs and blankets with it, that’s what I call festive and what’s expected for £13 from a cafe! Lemon meringue, looked delicious, taste awful just all sweet and not tart lemon flavour in any way as it should be. A lot of money spent on my mother’s birthday treat and came out really disappointed. Waiting staff and people serving were pleasant. Just an idea, it might make their life easier if tables were numbered. They spent more time looking for the table numbers which were given at the till point. Took over 30 mins for our food to arrive. I had to ask where it was as everyone around who arrived much later seemed to get there’s quite quick. A few jokingly commenting that ours had not turned up. That’s second poor experience I’ve had in two visits, won’t go again.

have not been over 3 years, mainly due to covid pandemic. we visited 1:40pm on saturday, unsurprisingly, there wasn't long queue. (probable a pub was also opened in garden centre) and plenty of empty tables. the standard of food was maintained. the fish butty was delicious, the chocolate tart and fruit cake were tasty.

Nice food and cakes, prices slightly high . But you pay for what you get. I have been here loads of times for lunch. You can also walk off your lunch round the garden centre after. Plenty of free parking, although always packed any time of the day. Very popular place to visit, also wheelchair friendly. There is a animal petting place here, garden plants and ornaments. Butchers, fruit and veg stalls also.

Come here if you want to listen to the sound of the sands of time pass through the hourglass of your life. Watch lives lived out in quiet desperation as you hope that the next waitress to exit the kitchen is bearing your order. Going to a garden centre on a bank holiday was never going to be the smartest of moves however the cafe experience started badly with an officious chap manning the entrance who refused to let me even look inside to see if there was space until he'd taken my details for covid stuff. Please don't let power-crazed people be the first point of contact for your cafe. It also seems that they have not been able to adapt from the self-service system to waitressing yet and our food took just under an hour and when it arrived, was missing a side. This was brought quickly however. Spotlessly clean throughout.
