The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Hoober Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

My husband and me called for coffee and cake at lunchtime,we love coming here ,our coffee was hot and our cake delicious,homemade cakes made by the gentleman owner ,I have forgotten both their names,it is also dog friendly we fetch our springer dolly ,it's only small but very quaint ,I went Saturday with 3 friends we all had lunch and cake and we all enjoyed it ,we always do ,the owners are very nice and make you feel welcome ,can highly recommend

Sunday 2nd August 2020 had a group booking for 16 and every single one of us was well disappointed. Been here a few times but this was really bad . Spent £400. Starters were ok but mains meals were a joke. We got the usual saucer sized dish with one roast potato one tiny floret of broccoli and cauli and tiny bits of carrot. Over half the plate was empty . Then to top it all off 4 of our 16 chose cheesecake and every one was frozen solid . What a joke. Also there was no social distancing there were 4 more tables with 4 people on making it 36 people in the small room on the right . I noticed the even smaller room on the left near the bar was packed solid. Staff wore masks and there was hand gel available but we didn’t feel safe . Visit here at your peril . We certainly won’t ever go again .

Exceptional afternoon tea in the walled garden. A selection of finger sandwiches, which were lovely and fresh. Soft scones, jam and clotted cream, followed by an assortment of delicious cakes. It’s not often you can say things get better, but this certainly as. Lovely friendly server as well. A real treat.

A friendly pub with a good range of drinks. This is not a foodie pub, if you want a pub that puts drinks first then this is the one for you

Ever since Morrisons has been taken over the star has really suffered as you can go in every morning and some of the shelves have no produce on, it was never like this before the takeover. There is not enough staff to fill the shelves in the morning. How can people buy food if it’s not there on the shelves and they don’t see it? If I could’ve given less than one star, I would have. it’s no fault of the staff it’s the people who OWN Morrisons

We were there to celebrate our daughters birthday along with her husband and our grandchildren. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was excellent as was the service.

I went here on my way to work the morning of 7/12/24. I was getting multiple drinks for my colleagues. There were 2 staff on shift and 1 especially went above and beyond to help me with my drinks as I was worried about getting so many and dropping or spilling the them. I didn’t manage to catch their name but I hope they can identify who it was from the shift pattern and get some recognition. From securing my drinks and labelling each one to opening the door for me definitely 5 star customer service
