Our friends held their wedding reception here in the Function Room. It was perfect, the room looked lovely once it had been "dressed" for the occasion. The landlords were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. As well as the room, we had access to a private outdoor area with plenty of wooden picnic tables to the rear of the pub. The pub has no kitchen and our friends did their own catering, setting up a BBQ. The DJ did a fantastic job and we danced all night!

I'm glad this place has reopened, and reopened with fresh ideas and vigour. The well decorated, homely pub has good service at all times, plenty of seating,a good variety of drinks and has a good pool table. The function suite is ample sized and nicely done out. Oh, plenty of parking to the rear too. It's pretty local to me and I'm glad it's back!

Went on a nephews engagement do, room set up nicely , friendly staff and nice buffet, downside drinks a tad expensive but overall very good.

I've had two meals there one on Saturday and one on Sunday and I can recommend them for there meals

Adele and Kev are very welcoming to everyone both new and old customers. They have artists singing quite regular, themed nights and karaoke. If you haven’t tried food here then it’s a must….Kev is one heck of an amazing chef and food is gorgeous and well presented. The price is good too.

Lovely food at a great price, hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and even a quiz as a bonus on a Thursday, highly recommend.

Attended a wedding at the Dearnesman. The venue looked amazing, food was gorgeous and all the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Last minute visit for food on a Sunday, pub full but Adele set out a table for 6 of us and couldn't have been more welcoming. Being a gluten intolerant veggie I was delighted to enjoy a specially cooked Sunday lunch along with everyone else at such short notice Great food ,service good, food reasonably priced, a must return next time we are visiting the area Thanks Adele.

Just returned home to n.ireland after a fantastic visit to see friends in Yorkshire. To our pleasure we were introduced to THE DEARNSMAN BAR/RESTAURANT. Spent a great couple of nights there. A great big thanks to Adelle and Kev the bosses who went far beyond the call of duty as drink and food were concerned.Do yourselves a favour and give it a call,you won't be disappointed.Ps .There might even be a rock star in appearance . Well were can I start just had a roast dinner takeaway and it was absolutely delicious everything fresh and real mash potatoes and real roasters the meat gammon and beef just melted in your mouth honestly it was mouth watering And the gravy omg it was award winning XXX Thank you so much and especially for our cake Stuffed now n we couldn't eat it all lol XXX ❤️ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ❤️

Had my husband's 50th birthday party on the 28th of September and the staff was amazing!! They couldn't do enough, and were brilliant with the drunken 50th birthday boy lol.. would highly recommend for any special occasion.. landlady is just amazing!! 😍

Came here tonight,with my daughter and my friend and her baby daughter, had a great time, ordered a margarita pizza and it was absolutely gorgeous, staff are lovely and we can't wait to come back, even the kitchen guy came out to have a chat , we loved that, can't wait to return .

The steak is to die for, no need for a steak knife. Cheap drinks, clean and the staff can't do enough for you. We will be returning without a doubt

Cold, Sunday dinner with no veggie option so had a plate of veg. Which took over an hour to come, putrid smell from the toilet.

Called in today for a game of pool with my daughter and partner we had a great time and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will be definitely coming again as we are wanting to try the food next time and cant wait.

61st family birthday here this afternoon and it was lovely. Atmosphere and food were great and nothing was too much trouble. Fab value for money. We will defo go again and I would highly recommend it to anyone 😊

It was ok ,welcoming atmosphere, staff very friendly.

Getting better each time we visit. Lots of hard work gone into relaunching the place and you can definitely see it.

We travelled up from South wales for a wedding here. Very nice place and staff were loverly. We returned the next day before going home to have a Sunday lunch here, i had a large dinner and the plate itself was huge, didn't seem to get much for than a medium just more room to move food around. But on the whole the food was loverly! The toilets need a refurb tho.

Went to a wedding, haven't been in for a few years. The changes are great especially in the back where parties can be held. Well done, the food was brilliant.

Went for breakfast on Sunday the food and service was very poor the person on the buffet part was very ignorant This was a big disappointment as we have eaten here before including Christmas Day which we enjoyed We will not eat here again
