Brilliant little chippy, we don't go often but when we do it's always 5stars.

Went there yesterday evening, plenty of parking. They took my order on entry 2 large haddock and 2 portions of chips, pleasant atmosphere, while I waited for my order. They were cooked and tasted beautifully the pure white haddock, and the chips were amazing, not dripping in fat .ike many other outlets. I will recommended and will be using again.

Excellent chippy. Fish is cooked fresh so don't forget to let the team know when you go in. Good size and reasonable price. Friendly servers. The haddock was delicious.

I arrived at 12.50 on Friday but didn't get my lunch till after 13.15. It's a shame the service was so slow as the food was great.

Absolutely fantastic battered cod however I prefer the chips to be more well done as the chips we got were a bit soggy! The fish and peas really made up for them

Having lived in this area all my life and seen ‘chipys’ come and go, this is by far the best fish and chip shop around here at the moment. Great quality fresh fish in extremely tasty batter. Nice sized portions too. Top marks!

Congratulations 👏 what a wonderful meal we had, so the fish and chips were cooked perfectly. Crispy batter is a must. The sausage was flavourful. Curry sauce and peas were really good, they didn't taste watery like some others do. Scraps were beautiful. One of the things I remember as a kid was making peas and scraps sandwich. Going to Brampton chippy brought back memories so thank you. The owners were talkative and welcoming which for me is good business, one thing stood out for me is how very clean with so many people in and out that's telling me there's lots of pride in this wonderful chippy. I'll definitely be back for more. Come and enjoy it, I did!

The fish & chips spld here are simply fabulous. Had them many times and never been disappointed. Standard fish is 6oz cod, but you can have 8oz cod and both sizes in haddock but ou need to order these as you enter the shop. The batter is superb, I can’t usuall eat all the batter but here it almost melts in your mouth. You can request lightly battered, but I’ve not found the need to do so. All the usual products are available, fish cake, pies, scallop, fish bites, sausage, mushy peas, curry sauce, etc. An additional option is gluten free fish but this is only available Friday & Saturday. My adviceis to give this chippy a try & you won’t be disappointed. Staff are very friendly too.

As good, if not better than a lot of proper sea-side chippies. Perfect crispy batter, perfectly cooked flaky fish, excellent chips. Like others have said, there are others closer but we go the extra distance to come here. Chip 'oyle par excellence!

Very simple and basic old fashioned English chippy. What distinguishes this one from the countless others is that they know how to fry. I've been here three times now and on every occasion everything has been cooked to perfection. They don't seem to be greedy with the pricing either. Faultless really...
