Friendly service and quality food. Lovely atmosphere and very well priced. Would highly recommend.

Nice little tea room and clean lovely cup coffee. Sandwich ok but over priced for what you got …. 2 small slices of bread , just about tasted the tuna and small pot crisps £6 sorry to say had better. I know food has gone up but that wasn’t in my mind value for money.

Wow! What a find. Absolutely lovely tearoom. The staff are lovely and so helpful. The food was gorgeous, the atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. Just a lovely experience from beginning to end! Sorry about the kid from out walking boots x

My daughter and granddaughter came been a couple of times before but this place is a little gem food delicious lovely staff please pay a visit you will not be disappointed and support local business we need them thankyou for making us so welcome wel be back

Called in on our way home from shopping trip Had a seat outside under the shelter of the parasols as very sunny Food menu displayed on large boards behind counter which contains some beautiful looking cakes and scones Lovely friendly staff and very reasonable prices, it is spotless inside Food was really nice with an added touch of a fresh strawberry, grapes and a slice of melon Would definitely return and recommend this great cafe

My husband and I found this quaint cafe whilst staying in Thurcroft and we were so glad we did. From the momentt we stepped in to the moment we left we felt like VIP customers. We ordered a tea and a coffee but were tempted by the fabulous cakes displayed on a very welcoming counter. We decided to share a cream tea, the scone was moist, the jam was plentiful and the clotted cream to die for. Not only did we receive the scone we had a fresh strawberry, melon and grapes on the side which was a lovely touch. The lady who owns it and her mum are absolutely brilliant, how nice to have a laugh and a chat with strangers and made to feel like home. The lady let us taste her delicious fruit cake which she had just baked and this I would say could win a national competition it is the best fruit cake we have tasted. Thank you poppies tea room you definitely get 10/10 from us.

Poppies Tearoom used to be situated in Thurcroft but they have recently moved to Goddfrey Garden Centre at Aston. Poppies was always an excellent Tea Rooms but now they have moved to slightly larger premises they have excelled themselves. They are warm and welcoming. It is a charming tea rooms with lovely china pots. A fantastic cup of tea served in a lovely large tea pot with China cups and saucers. The most amazing cakes and pastries made fresh every day by Christina and her mum. Home made soup. Sandwiches made on lovely fresh bread. Just off the A57 junction on the M1. A must for the best tea and coffee and delicious cakes.

Fantastic brilliant need I say more it's got the cups the cakes the afternoon teas to die for and service with a smile by both mother and daughter Was a fantastic place to take my mum and my friends just to catch up and enjoy You will be sorry you miss this place I've been loads and enjoy it more and more every time

Been here many times now and keep coming back! Fabulous food, and excellent cake- it's amazing and definitely worth a visit to this tea room! Highly recommend :)
