Fantastic haven’t had a Chinese like that for years

First time ordering from Sea Garden and it was lovely. BIG portions.

Delivery was late, said it had been delivered on just eat. Rang up they told me was on way, arrived 10 minutes later, food was warm at best… it was nice but would have been better hot. Missing items and drink. Would probably order again but not on a Saturday night

Missed initial Delivery time. Missed updated Delivery time. And now shut for the night. Used to rate this place pretty well, not anymore. 0/10

Finally found a chinese that actually tastes of something! The delivery time slightly ran over and was missing a drink but it’s not the end of the world. The food was piping hot, portions are massive, you definitely get what you pay for and then some. The sweet and sour chicken is packed full of flavour, prawn toast is full to the brim, and the sauces are delicious. The free bag of prawn crackers and the fortune cookies are also a bonus. Overall, highly recommend, 9/10. 😊

It was really lovely but my husband dish beef in black bean with green peppers it had mushrooms water chestnuts no green peppers

Order was missing 1 item. Ended up driving through to pick it up as it would have taken too long as it was NYE. Food quality was good but we will stick to our usual place

Ordered and confirmed at 17.46 28/12/24. Said would be delivered 19.00-19.20. Not arrived so called restaurant twice. Got through, said I didn’t want it anymore as ordered so long before and wasn’t hungry but was told “it’s on its way”. Another 20 mins and it arrived. Not eaten it so can’t comment on the food but really disappointing service when I placed the order so early in the evening. A refund would have been great

Food quality very poor. Ordered munch box. Chips, chicken & ribs all dry

Just ad a delivery salt and Peper box everything was over cooked the meat chicken pork ribs crispy beef couldn't even bite into it and when you did get into it it was rock hard Even the chips was crispy as if they had been cooked more than once ONLY THING THAT WAS GREAT WAS THE DELIVERY DRIVER TURNING UP IN A SANTA OUTFIT

The best chow main in town. We ordered 3 different types: singapore vermicelli, roasted pork, and chicken and all of them were really tasty. The order arrived about 20 or 30 minutes earlier as well.

Didn't get any free prawn crackers or spring rolls and i thought i would have spent enough to qualify the noodles were a bit mashed up but otherwise a nice take away.

Chips were well done . Egg fried rice was cold . Sweet and sour chicken balls inside the batter tasty spicy. Was really disappointed

I'm sorry to say but since it changed from San San we have tried the food twice, once a set meal and yesterday individual meals. the set meal was really poor but yesterday's food was absolutely awful and we couldn't even eat it... we aren't even fussy. the prawn toast looked and tasted like chicken and after 1 bite we both left it. gutted because it used to be lovely.

Absolutely fantastic food delivery well on time only thing I have to complain about is the delivery driver very abrupt I usually give a tip but he was stood there expecting it didn't even offer the change no acknowledgement not very good so sorry didn't give him a tip

The new owners, are great use to the community of what used to be SanSan Chinese, takeaway now the Sea Garden. Its a must the food and service is second to none, I've been twice in the first two months of them opening on both times the food was excellent.

We have ordered from here around 5 times in last few weeks and it has been lovely every single time. The noodle box’s are great value even the small box to me is a big portion but the chunks of meat are so tender and tasty. The sweet and sour sauce is lovely and thick too not watery like some. Delivery has always been fast. We will definitely continue to order in the future.

The food was really nice and tasty, was fresh and hot. Order was beef in black bean egg fried rice, salt and pepper ribs and large spring rolls. Looking forward to trying more dishes

Very bad service ordered food it came they forgot the drinks called up and had me on the phone for 5 minutes and then told me they would bring them when they can also order a salt and pepper mushy box and it came with no sringrolls not good wouldn't order again

Tried this place twice since its opened, food very very salty, chips overcooked and cold, prawn toast was burnt and inedible, curry was plain with no flavour at all, sadly won't be using anymore.

Came early, food was red hot and really really nice. Will defo order again. 👍🏼

Nearly 2 hours waiting for our order , when we rang we was told they have taken too many orders, we heard arguments in the background, sounded very unorganised, not sure why they didn’t start on my order before taking more on… food wasn’t bad but ive had better, think it’s 1st and last time ordering from here .

Order is still not here almost an hour around delivery time. Got told to just wait when it was about ten minutes late as it was on the way. We are about five mins away. And now no answer on the phone

Absolutely fantastic. Took 40 minutes to come, food was piping hot, I ordered the chicken box and oh my goodness it chose £20 and it could have fed the whole family. I have not one single complaint. Your my new favourite in Wombwell absolutely! Well done!

Struggled to find a decent Chinese takeaway for a while in the Wombwell/Wath area. Tried a few but all were average. Dropped on San San accidentally and wow! Traditional Chinese food like you used to get years ago. I'm a regular customer now. Always get a satisfactory meal from this place. Never anything to complain about.

My local Chinese, been coming here for years, it's the best in the area. Friendly staff/owners, reasonable prices and delicious food! A must try for anybody in the area!

Order quite often, sometimes collecting and sometimes getting it delivered. Very polite chinese lady behind counter. The food is freshly cooked and authentic. Never been let down always enjoy the food.

Used San San for alot of years. We are never disappointed. Been to friends where they have ordered from different take aways but never as good as San san. Would definitely recommend. X

We've been going to San San for years, up until recently it was the only place we went for Chinese - the service is good whether you get delivery or takeaway the food is always hot, fresh and tasty - absolutely nothing to complain about.

Acabo de ver este en pasar así que pensé para ver lo que era como. El aparcamiento es decente, así que el acceso es bueno. La comida en sí no es nada especial. He tenido peor en la zona, pero nada específico para recomendarlo. La parte más molesta para mí era el tamaño de las piezas de carne. Fueron cocinados a la perfección, pero realmente no apetece con mis dedos o cuchillo a ellos pero tenía demasiado trozo. El servicio era excelente y la comida llegó rápidamente. Así que es mejor en la zona y hay peores.

One of the worst meals ever. Only good point was Chicken in Honey & Lemon. Mushroom Omelette was burnt and the mushrooms were burnt black All of the chips were re-fryed, and overcooked. Curry Sauce was very oily and greasy. A place to avoid
