Punjab in Rotherham

Used punjab for years ,food is lovely, the curries are 100% gorgeous, pizzas pretty much the same ,even had the odd kebab and wasn't disappointed, punjab every Saturday night for years ,brilliant.

Almost every time we order from here they forget something. Tonight it was the starters and we waited on extra 45 minutes, needless to say the main meals had been eaten. It’s a shame as the food is great but the service is terrible.

Nice food and very polite friendly staff, who eve carried our very lathe order to the car for us. Great service, very good quality food, 🤩 thanks

Amazing food and amazing service

Absolutely stunning went at half 12 orders two chicken tikka and chips absolutely beautiful and a chicken tikka starter the chicken at this time was far the best tastiest chicken we’ve tasted from anywhere we been absolutely amazing must go ❤️ we drive to the the takeaway waited 1o mins and was still yet again can’t believe how amazing the chicken just so juicey tasty melts in your mouth me and my partner was amazed ❤️

The curries here are always consistent and always taste great. The staff are very friendly. The service is fantastic, and delivery/pick-up is always on time. We order when we are on shift on an emergency frontline ambulance, and our order is always ready when we go to pick it. This is great as we only have a half-hour break. Great service and food.

Best Indian food I've had in a long time and believe me I've tried them all in the area. This place was recommended on FB and it dint disappoint. Enjoyed everything I had. 100% recommend. Keep up the good food and I'll be back 👍👍👍

Rude. Food is great at times but find them so rude. Any issues and you're in for an argument. Sadly going to find else where now.

First time ordering. Wasn’t disappointed- me and my husband had a curry etc and our son had margarita pizza. Everything was lovely and hot on arrival.

I travel from Sheffield for this quite regularly. Everything I've tried is great from kebabs, chicken and chips, calzones, etc. The curries are unreal and the homemade potato wedges. If you like your curries a bit spicier and a bit more flavourful I'd recommend asking for asian style (apna) and they're always more than happy to make it that way or any other way for that matter.

ordered the starter chicken puree online, this dish does not come with salad even you have clicked the salad option. the dish based on coconut cream and sweet tasted. the puree was good and crispy. however I perfer this dish is drier and spicier. this dish is almost a meal on its own. another tasty meat free dishes, the combination of special rice and mushroom bhaji (extra spicy). A meat free day for me, have tarka daal lentils (asked for extra spicy) with vegetable rice, it is delicious. ordered Turish kebab served on naan, it has lamb and chicken pieces in fried onion. asked extra salad and chilli source. it is delicious and value for money.

Best takeaway around. Food is always hot & delicious. The staff are all friendly

Fantastic food. Kebabs can be "lukewarm" but depends on time of order. I.e a weekend 😃 But still fantastic. Hard to find one to beat it

Cant get your order right then tell u will drop it back off and dont bother. Take your money and fob u off i call that thieving

delivery driver was great was a problem near takeaway which caused a delay but the driver was still lovely even tho he seemed really stressed out. Top lad

I was a regular customer but after today and the customer service that was given we will not be going back!!!! i cant complain about the food but once again the order was messed up and they wanted to charge me another delivery fee to have the extra food that they had missed. its not the first time but it will honestly be the last

Not used Punjab for a few years, definitely will be using regularly if it continues to be as lovely as tonight. Lamb bhuna so tasty and lots of tender meat, lovely chicken muglai...huge portions too

Korma was spicy and food was cold

Ordered a lamb bhuna, egg rice, onion bhajis and a peshawari naan bread. Everything was totally perfect. I don't have Indian very often because I no good with spice.. this takeaway is amazing. Thanks guys

Bought 2 chicken tikka on naan bread they arived 10 min, but they both had little chicken in them , you, could put both together , and wouldnt make 1 kabab, won, t buy again.

Always beautiful, need to start taking card payments though or get on just eat. Never carry cash these days

Ordered a chicken korma and some other bits the guy on the phone repeated my order back to me and said chicken curry I then said no korma he repeated korma I said yes and that was that fast delivery and then I get a chicken curry sent out I can’t handle spicy food so I ring back up at hold for like 3m and the guy who took my order was just really rude and in denial about the situation and said you ask for a curry so I gave you it I said no I repeated korma and he says I wouldn’t have sent you a curry for no reason if you didn’t ask for it saying how it was my fault he offered a replacement but by that point I thought I’d leave it as he was just arguing with me really ashame as I love there food but not being spoken to like that will not be ordering again

Perfect! Fast delivery. Beautiful chicken korma and balti. Tasty pilau rice. Crispy poppudoms. All fresh and tasty with extra salad. Will be ordering from here again.

Best Indian food for a long time and rest of there food is good

Can’t pay by card or contactless under the current COVID19 situation outdated and not good that cash has to be handed over to pay for the food. Maybe they need to come into the year 2020 or does cash mean they don’t don’t declare it to the taxman? Good food does not mean taking the risk to hand over cash and receive change by hand! Pondicherry it is then..

Always delicious and piping hot

Been here a few times now, never had anything bad from the menu, great pizzas and kebabs but the curries are the best. Some of the best curries I've had from a takeaway and never felt shocking the next day too. Always cooked fresh and you can tell, 100% recommend if you want an amazing takeaway curry. The chicken jal frezi is my favourite.

This is by far the best takeaway in Yorkshire. Currys, pizza and fried chicken.. All under one roof and the food is absolutely spot on.

I ordered a delivery at 5.57 it arrived 6.20, giving address was a nightmare delivery drive was very good and helpful, I ordered a chicken vindaloo ,chicken korma , onion bajji, garlic nan rice and chips. The korma was tasteless and looked runny like baby poo the vindaloo was watery and tasteless a complete waste of money and ruined my nigh I was so looking forward to my first Indian in months,vile disgusting slop ,I can do better myself and will in future

Friendly & welcoming staff, great food and short waiting time (in regards to how long food takes to cook). No more than 15-20 mins, if you don’t mind waiting a bit longer on a Friday/Saturday night. Highly recommend.

Used to be lovely, but the last curry was really disappointing. Chicken & sauce had a weird taste, didn't seem very fresh. We threw most of it away & won't be ordering from here again.

Used to be a good place but the pizza I've just had is the worst I've ever had. Very greasey the chicken tikka and cheese wasn't nice cheep ingreadients.1 star is for the service.

Not had a decent curry from here in over 4 orders now, only finally bothered to write a review as it was that bad tonight. Ordered a lamb Madras, had to use half a roll of kitchen towel to drain the excess water/ghee, even then it was swimming in grease. Ordered a replacement, was just as bad. My advice go to Himalia, you might have to wait longer and may have to ring a few tkmre before you get through but you will end up with a fantastic curry, whereas this is absolutely not worth the money.

Consistently the best currys I have ever tasted.

Love the food but delivery time is very long once waited an hour and 40mins and they still forgot half of our order and it's not a one off, rectify the problem but by the time it arrives you've ate the rest of the food

Got all way home to find that there was no rice at all in the bag (ordered 2 portions). Mistakes of course do happen but that just ruined a meal not to mention paying for something we have not received. Simple stuff this, its not rocket science.

Great food. Friendly staff, always smiling and willing to help. Been ordering from punjab for years and they have never let me down. HIGHLY RECOMMEND (Can be very busy at times so may take a little longer, if they ever get something wrong I.e forget popadoms etc, they will do their best to rectify)

Not very good now used be a nice take way not it always cold or just not right the order I ordered a madras it came with a egg in phoned they said madras comes with egg over 10 years I've ordered from there never had a egg b4 he put phone down on me rung back lucky I only live up road so went to shop ordered a madras opened it up In front of them ask were egg the guy laughed and said madras didn't come with egg so slapped the old curry on counter and said well this did and the guy on phone said I was a lair also when I told him mine came with egg in and told me madras has egg in so make sure staff no madras has NO EGG in

perfect food fast not a lot to say try it

Use to enjoy Punjab but now the food is rushed and terrible, ordered 2 currys mine was cold and no taste whatsoeve, my partners curry was also cold and was watery, korma shouldn't be watery. We phoned to complain and was rude on the phone. Eventually they Brough 2 replacement currys and they also went in bin. We ordered from Jackos week after and that was brilliant and cheaper and warmer and quicker

called them and after 2 hours no delivery i love their food but never again will i order from them for being very rude on the phone and telling me that they called 5 times at my house which was a lie .. very disappointed coz their food was good
