A family of 5 of us thought we would give the carvery another go as we heard there were new owners. As the carvery had gone down hill in the last months and seeing a post video on Facebook we thought we would give it a go and im glad we did. The pork absolutely melted in our mouth it was the best pork I have ever taste. The Parsnips were sweet and crunchy and the cauli cheese was beaut. I dont no what they did to the gravy but it was so good. You can see that new owners taking pride they even have sun brollies up and everywhere is clean and they cleared plates straight away as before they were on table when we left. There a nice atmosphere aswell the staff looked happy and you could see them being busy. We sat out front after as had brollies. Keep up the good work we will be back!

New management have done an amazing job with the place! Food is the best that it's ever been and the pub is super well kept. Great value and always worth the visit! 👌 The landlords and staff are all super friendly and the atmosphere feels welcoming. Would highly recommend people to give it a try, the place is definitely slept on right now, deserves a lot more exposure and footfall! 🍻

We came to The Kimberworth Park for a remembrance evening for our great friend, Lee Kania, taken to soon on the 15th June. A massive thank you to Rich and his team at the pub for making every effort to make our evening as perfect as could be. Our celebration of life for Lee was well celebrated; we remembered the good times, laughed at old photos, sang his favourite songs and maybe shed a tear for his passing at the end but it could not have been better. Thanks again to the Kimberworth Park. I would definitely recommend the venue to anyone for any occasion.

We had a beautiful Sunday lunch here today. Every was cooked beautifully. The service by all staff was exceptional. We arrived just after 12 so only a little atmosphere, but by the time we left, it was busy. It's safe to say, we will be back in again.......

This pub has stepped up its game since new management the place is super clean even the toilets are well looked after now, the staff are lovely and very hard working and the food is very nice the atmosphere is also great such a great vibe will be coming back more often!!

We went back to the Kimberworth today for food. Both my wife and I had the mixed grill. Well.... it was fab. It was a shame I didn't have room for pudding! The place is looking great. They now have sun brollies and beer matts. The place is lovely and clean. Even the gents toilets smell of flowers. The staff are very attentive and nothing seems to be to much trouble for them. You can see a real effort being made. May it continue.

Visited today with family. We all have the carvery the majority of the food was dry. Roast potatoes were rock hard. My husband found a long white hair/blonde hair in his food . The tables were dirty with pots, which hadn’t I’m not been wiped down. Two ladies were in with small child who was very loud and seem to be drunk which spoilt our Sunday time out told a member of staff and she told us no one serving food/dealing with food had blonde hair, but as we walked in, we saw someone with blonde hair bringing the joint of beef out. Won’t be going again with family.

We used the pub as a venue for a local running race hq and after buffet So accommodating and helpful the bar service seemed to move quick which great for thirsty runners definitely back next year Even though we had our own buffet you was so helpful offering help. Thank you from Rotherham Harriers

Seen it was under new management so decided to pop in and try it out. Worse meal me and my husband have ever had. Non responsive other than thanks for letting me know not sorry about spending £60 and barely eating the meal! We both got mixed grills..steak was overcooked and chewy, chicken was boiled, peas wasn’t even cooked. Breaded mushrooms over cooked. Gammon, sausages and chips only thing worth eating!!! been a few places for mixed grills and this is definitely the worse we’ve ever had. Wouldn’t go unless boiled chicken is your thing.

Went for a family meal here as it was local and we’d never been, must say we were all left very impressed, the food was delicious they have such a range of different choices for everyone so no one is left hungry, we weren’t waiting a long time for food either like some other places you can go too. The bar staff were very friendly and talkative whilst your getting served and the pub itself it’s just a great atmosphere full of people laughing, talking, shouting, kids, dogs it’s a pub for everyone. Will definitely be returning and recommending to everyone

Come for carvery with my partner and 2 children, staff so friendly and welcoming soon as we walked in and approached the bar, carvery server super friendly and engaging with my 10 year old daughter giving her time to think and make choices independently, food was perfectly cooked and tasty the meat was mouth watering and vegetables cooked lovely, all four plates empty. Extremely happy and will be returning.

Popped in after a long walk with my daughter and dog. This is a lovely dog friendly pub! I was invited by staff to help myself to some dog treats that were in a jar next to the till and was given a bowl of fresh water for him, lovely touch! I ordered a hunters chicken melt baguette which came with fries, and a cheeseburger for my daughter, both meals were delicious with generous portions. The staff were all lovely and the pub itself very clean, warm and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to others!

Best pub chips n meals in Rotherham. Staff friendly and helpful. Cheap pool table, darts, large TV. We've never had a bad meal. Would highly recommend

Went for a birthday meal last night after waiting for over 1 hour my meal this came incorrectly the member of staff who took this to be corrected wasn't very polite and the manager was so rude obviously no training in customer service I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND DEFINITELY NOT BE GOING BACK

Atrocious place. Birthday meal with family. Seating area smelled of cigarette smoke on arrival due to customers smoking just outside an open fire door!! There were 22 of us eating so spent a pretty penny!! Granddaughter is a picky eater and her two favourite meals were unavailable. A small child and a dog were running all around the tables, even though a sign on door stated "guide dogs only" some food ok but some waited over 1 hr and food incorrect or cold. When we complained the staff we very abrasive and off hand "I've served a lot of people other than you tonight so can't remember!!" My son also witnessed drug taking in the gents toilets!! Seems like this pub only caters for local regulars. Avoid at all costs EDIT: WE WERE NOT LATE FOR OUR BOOKING!! Some members of our party arrived well before the booking time of 6.30pm. The under 18s policy was not an issue at all, although I admit I had queried it previously, and this would have been totally respected had we not been kept waiting for over an hour for some meals, which were then incorrect (? 3 strips of raw red onion added to a sausage and mash meal does not constitute onion gravy!!) or cold. And then received somewhat abrasive comments from staff when we complained. I stand by all my observations in my original review, including the smoking outside an open fire door and drug usage and will dispute any attempt by the manager to distract or deflect from these comments. There were 22 people in my party; we all made the same observations

Excellent service. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was so crispy, and a generous portion. Such a friendly place and so clean. Will be recommending this place to all my friends and family as I see they have live bands on too! Also great for kids and dog friendly.

Recently moved to the area, thought we would give the local pub a try after a long days work and a stressful week, coming here was an absolute treat, the staff were super friendly and easy to start a conversation with, the food was possibly the best pub food I have had in a long while. And for most the atmosphere of this establishment was cosy, warm and welcoming. Special thanks to the lovely lady who served us - Melissa. Definitely coming again

Been a few times to this pub. Once for a Halloween kids party, also been for a meal and a few drinks another time and was great. Great staff, live music, and overall a good vibe.

Carvery as always been nice but went this Sunday and was very let down beef tasted of nothing and tough veg was rock solid and the yorkies was such a disappointment compared to what there used to be and the roasties was not roasties really let down to what it was like service at bar didn't have a clue tbh always come here but this will be my last sadly 😢

A lovely family pub, children are welcome until 9pm there is a park out back for them to play on, they have a children's menu which caters for under 5s and over 5s with multiple choice selections. The pub offers a wide selection of draught largers, that are very reasonably priced aswell as draught cider, bitter and stout. Food menu is great there's so much to choose from, each time I have eaten here I have thoroughly enjoyed it, the meat is fresh and each Sunday there is a carvery available. Majority of Saturday nights there is either a disco, DJ and karaoke or a live band playing where locals and regulars join together and it's a great night. The pub is well present and is lovely and clean and very welcoming.

Great customer service, Kelly Kilner was great at helping with the menu as I'm celiac so have to eat things which are gluten free and I was very impressed with the options on there menu, She was very patient and respectful and the food she recommended was delicious. Would definitely recommend this pub if you're looking for somewhere to eat.

Went for food with my sister.went to the bar where someone else was being served .we stood and waited to ne served the girl behind the bar walked off to talk to another member of staff on her break stood chatting whilst I'm waiting to be served !don't knw her name tall girl with dark hair big eyelashes. Eventually got served Ordered food .no fish !,Ordered something else .food came served by another lady lovely she was .food was absolutely lovely .Ordered puddings ..no trifle !then had to wait 45 mins for them to arrive app sorry we serving food to other people who just ordered.not good really tbh .the tables were sticky as hell toilet not up to standard either .felt had to put a review purely because of the ignorance of the girl behind the bar !!! Can see why it's not as busy as wen I last went .

Had Sunday dinner, was ok but nowhere near enough meat. 2 thin small slices of meat was very poor compared with anywhere I have ever been previously. I suggest the owners travel around the area and look at how much meat their competitors give, come on it's not that expensive.

Before lockdowns I used to enjoy the food. This was my first return... The prices have increased, just like everything else... But at the same time, the portion sizes have been reduced... On top of that, the Yorkshire puddings I was served were stale. They tasted like they were made the day before. I think this is the only time I have ever left Yorkshire's on my plate... I can't see me going back any time soon. It's a shame... It used to be the only local place I knew where I could get a decent Sunday dinner. They say all good things come to an end, and I'm afraid It looks like C'vid has ruined another business... Edit: I can't find an option to reply, so I had to edit my initial review... Yes, I am certain I have got the right place. It's within sight of my home, I'm not likely to be mistaken. As for the portion sizes, I was referring to the meat. I used to dine on Sunday quite regular, and on a large dinner, you used to be served more than one slice of each meat (Gammon, Beef, Turkey) This has definitely changed post lockdown and cost of living increases. I have honestly never tasted a Yorkshire pudding so stale, and I used to eat them the day after a roast at home. I was actually being generous suggesting that they had been cooked the day before. When I questioned the lady serving about the meat portion size, she looked quite disgusted at me, and snapped a response "that is a large one" Maybe she selected stale puddings from the heated display as some sort of revenge for my question? Whatever the reason, they were hard, stale and inedible, and they were left on my plate.

Wasn't very impressed. The meat on our burgers was dry and the restaurant was so empty and I can see why. Not sure if it's because of the location but it just seemed run down and like it needed a revamp about 15 years ago. We go to another pub in this chain called the nags head near Beverley East Yorkshire and this has to be one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in a long time. Had high hopes with it being part of the same chain however left disappointed and spent £25 on food that was mostly frozen food that had been overcooked and I could not eat. Dry and the burger meat had a very weird awful twang to it. Not interested in returning again.

A great place for the whole family. My daughter and I go there regularly, and there's even an outside play area for the children to enjoy. We especially like the warm desserts there 😁

Booked a party for my Dads 90th for a Saturday afternoon. Must thank the management,bar staff and catering staff for making it a great experience for him. The reserved area was ideal and the buffet excellent,nothing was too much trouble for.anyone. Big Thank you to James and his team.

Lovely place. Nice ambiance. Ate dinner here... Prices good Prawn cocktail was fresh and yummy. Turkey was not plastic.. And plentiful. Will definitely return. I recommend it.

Awful tasting carvery, cheesy cauli was OK, the rest was bland as hell, I think the best tasting bits was the apple, cranberry and horse radish sauces.. Beers was standard though.
