The best restaurants serving Default food in Telford and Wrekin West Midlands

Very expensive at the restaurant, pity they didn't do special offers Sometimes for members, !! It was also expensive in the garden centre. I don't know what it is with these garden centres they are so overpriced with everything.

Sub pizza was wrapped and heated instead of toasted. Tasted awful. Not even suitable for human consumption. Once prepared badly can only be described as bin quality. Waste of money won't go back there. No real customer service engagement low I don't think they have a clue what a pizza sub is. Badly trained staff in know how of the products they are preparing for customers. No product knowledge. Worst lunch I've had in a long time. Very dehumanising experience. They should close this store down for some other decent restaurant to be put in its place. Good location at present. Plenty of shoppers in the area just bad food. Technology sucks, what next robots. Having trained with subway before covid as a sandwich artist. This is the worst example and experience I have ever had at a subway, the public deserve better. Not bin quality prepared food. If this is the quality they want to serve then they need to move location as the residents of shropshire deserve better. Franchise owner give up and move out or train your staff properly, no one wants you here spoiling our dining out experience. Your not a valued or worthy business owner to be located in Shropshire Newport we have high standards. Subway should shut you down, as not even they would want to eat the food prepared in there.

Genuinely don’t understand the negative comments about this lovely establishment. My daughter and I travel from Shrewsbury regularly for their superb carvery… never ever had a disappointing visit. The staff are very welcoming and helpful… I must mention NATHAN the carver in Particular, he is always very helpful and greets everyone with a huge smile and lovely humour there is absolutely no doubt that he is a huge asset to Toby Carvery. Thank you again Apley team for another delicious lunch.

Booked large group table a month in advance, to ensure we would get in as its always been busy in the past. They took my contact details. Arrived on the day to find it shut up in darkness and handwritten sign on door saying closed due to refurb until further notice. Why bother to take contact details and then not use them to advise change in circumstances. Wagamama to the rescue! Having read the reviews since, I have to say it seems we had a near miss as the quality and service isn't what it used to be under previous management.

Pre ordered dinner for delivery, got a mix up which was my fault, but they rectify immediately. Also got no plim sauce for crispy duck so they re came out to me. What wonderful service, truly lovely people and fabulous food as always. Will always use them. Sx

We had the sunday roast beef and lamb shank. The roast dinner tasted like it had been standing around for hours....meat and roast potatoes hard with no flavour. Lamb shank oily, no mint and drowned in gravy. Maybe we chose the wrong day of the week? Also, none of the puddings we ordered were available, although shown on the computer.

We were a bit concerned about some of the reviews of this bar but we need not have worried. We visited early in the evening for a drink before dinner. We had two small bottles of prosecco which cost £15.60 and we were pleased that the staff were so meticulous about cleaning the glasses.

Usually call in two times a week. On three occasions we have had a voucher to use. Today free cookie. Alas no cookies. Can accept that but last two occasions have tried to use a voucher and could not accept as they had run out. Should have gone to the costa inside next and tried there. So lure us in with offer of a free cookie then sorry have all gone. No alternative so looks like by I’m going to go elsewhere

Visited spa at Telford Golf & Country Hotel then had lunch in the Gorge Coffee bar. The food was excellent & service superbly managed by Lesley who was most welcoming. Lovely day out which I would highly recommend

Stopped by for a coffee whilst walking in the area. Lovely garden seating area. The coffee was average but it is a great place to stop at and enjoy the scenery. They have a few snacks and also ice cream. I was told it has been taken over by a charity helping ex-convicts so it deserves some patronage if you are passing.

Food was good, wait time was okay. Worst part was there was a manager that you could hear in the kitchen from the restaurant who was basically shouting at people stood a few foot from her. Talking so loudly we could hear every word she said.

Verry good service and fresh food

I came here on an electric scooter which I then realised I wouldn't be able to carry my pizza home. I thought it would fit in my bag but obviously I misjudged. These two really nice guys at the papa John's helped me get it home. This one guy even drove me to my house bc I wasn't able to carry it. It was an unbelievable gift of kindness and something that I can definitely check off my bucket list.

I truly have never had such a bad service, hurried, the lady who served us was rude , got the cake wrong , no sweetener , first words were we close in 30 mins, no smile , very curt, I’m local and this was the first time in months as last time was as bad !!!!… now last time def!! will be telling everyone local that I know ,
