The best restaurants serving Default food in Telford and Wrekin West Midlands

Every table was full with half eaten food, so struggles to find anywhere to sit. Only 2 members of staff working.. one in kitchen and one on tills and restaurant area. Asked for our blue light discount to be told if we weren't in uniform, we couldn't have it, despite showing our card. Really need to review the staffing and policies

I have decided to now move on and do my weekly shop at Tesco. To start, parking no problem regarding safety. One way system, bigger parking bays and to date no sign of removal size vans parked in the bays. All shelves from what l saw are filled. No shelves with empty boxes with full boxes hidden behind the empty ones. Plenty of friendly staff on the floor to help on finding items for newbie shoppers. Last but not least, no queues, plenty of tills if you don't want to scan your own items,and here again, no queues. So to top it all, no STRESS. So thank you Tesco for making my shopping a pleasure, as for Asda, your loss and Tesco's gain.

Exceptional food and outstanding service. Our regular provider and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. We are always delighted by the quality of the food and the size of the portions.

Came here last Sunday (Easter Sunday 2025) in the afternoon. Restaurant was completely empty and 1 order on the board being prepared, but loads of staff. Ordered food on app and when i arrived the app told me I hadn’t arrived, but I had and advised me to approach a member of staff. I did try I stood patiently at the counter but everyone just ignored me and two of them were laughing and joking . After 10 mins I had to get someones attention I gave her my order number explained what had happened and gave her my table number where I would be . After a further 10-15 I cancelled the order as nothing was happening . As I walked out I told a member of staff I had cancelled my order she seemed surprised 😮 I said I have been her 20 min im off. I then went 10 minutes drive up the road to Donnington Mcdonalds ordered on the car park walked in the restaurant 2 mins later just as they were calling my order number sorry chalk and cheese obviously two different franchise owners ? Never seen such dreadful service could have understood if it was heaving with customers but honestly on the day Newport maccies was like a morgue. Avoid, Avoid Avoid

Ordered a mother's day takeaway consisting of: Quarter Pounder with Cheese Burger Large Mixed Meat Kebab and Chips Curry Sauce Crispy Mushrooms Cheesy Chips Mozzarella Sticks Driver dropped it off and when we unpacked the order realised the Kebab and Chips were missing. Tried to phone the driver several times and received no response. Also tried to phone Crispy Cod approx 7 times and each time the phone just rang out. Website said no longer taking orders so assume they'd closed early (website says open until 21:00 and we were trying to make contact at 20:15). Not sure how they've left out the biggest / most expensive item off the order but if you're sending substandard deliveries out then feel like you should at least be contactable for a period of time after. Not sure who is to blame here (Delivery Driver or Crispy Cod) but leaving this review on the basis we didn't receive what we ordered and Crispy Cod were not contactable to resolve which left us with a big inconvenience in trying to have a meal. Will be avoiding in future.

Disappointed.. wasn't hot, barely warm. Ordered pekingspecial as one dish, it didn't resemble the description given.. think it was the wrong dish!

We have just been to he Grazing Cow in Lawley for a Sunday meal and then to take part in the 4th May, Star wars quiz. The meal and the staff were exceptional but at the end of the quiz. The quiz question guy decided to use bad language over the microphone. Citing the "F" word and also about being "pixxxd". I can assure you that I am certainly not a prude what so ever and I do swear myself. But I felt this was far from being appropriate as women and children were still present. When we decided to just quietly mention it to the stand in Manager. We were made to feel like villians and no customer consideration or form of apology was adopted. We were told it was after 9pm and on their quizzes people are made aware that this guy swears. As I said I was not bothered for myself but certainly was for my wife and the fact women and children were still in the bar. No public notice mentions about the use of bad language. And I am sure that if it was one of the customers. Words would have been said. Very disappointed at the response which was not initially made as a major complaint but simply as a matter of concern. Very poor customer service.

We had the vegetarian breakfast and coffee. Service was prompt, helpful and with a friendly smile. Excellent value, with free refills on the coffee and discount for two. The breakfast was hot, tasty and ample. The dinning area was clean, light and spacious.

Absolutely disgraceful business made my order 2 hours ago an it hasn’t arrived yet tried calling and the number was not working at all won’t be going her again at all will be reporting to trading standards

Was wary of getting food from these type of establishments Papa John's Lansdowne Bournemouth noticed the guy making pizza also operating till what would happen if cash sale handling dirty money then making your pizza no gloves no hand washing before how can this be allowed pizza wasn't even fully baked in my view seems I was right about these places

I've been using Hong Kong city since the mid 90s around 95-96...very special to my heart. Absolutely perfect and always exceptional. 10/10 and feel blessed for the food and service through all life's dilemma s... Thankyou HKC your the best

When we went in there were young teenagers vaping on one side of the room, when our food came we were missing items and drinks had been missed, somehow the beans were overcook and hard most of the rest of the food was cold which baffled me as the place was almost empty so shouldn't have been any delay overall a terrible experience and not worth the money or any money at that
