This is a lovely tearoom with a wide variety of food, snacks, cakes, drinks etc. The cakes are absolutely gorgeous, never fails to impress! The staff are also so lovely. Overall this is a lovely place and definetely worth the visit :)

So, we ordered a fruit scone, tea and a latte. As it was kept in with the Lemon scones, it just tasted of Lemon. If I had wanted a lemon scone I would have ordered one!! KEEP THEM SEPARATE !!! The tea pot infuser leaked all over the table and the tea was very weak. As I didn’t like the ‘lemon’ scone I was going to have a slice of toast and jam. However, at the exorbitant price of £3,50, I changed my mind! This could be a gold mine if the prices were amended and the tacky decor and niknaks removed. Shame really. Next review is on the Antique Art & Craft Centre that shared the building.

This is a lovely little cafe with stunning views out the back and very pleasant staff. We went on a Wednesday morning and there were 20 delicious cakes on offer which I think is first class. The tea us delicious strong and tasty. Only one criticism we went on a wet November day and there was no heating on at all and it was freezing!! You must keep clients warm on a wet cold day!! Please turn the heating on and close the doors into the antique centre. Make it comfortable and you will do better

Now under new management and a massive improvement on previous owners , pleasant staff & management , excellent food and cakes , nice pot of tea aswell , always make you feel welcome . So Ignore earlier reviews as these have only been here a short while and not responsible for previous reviews . So go From September 2023 and see the difference One of my favourite places to stop in Ironbridge , easily missed as its the back of the Co-op store and Teddy Bear Factory in the Antique centre which is also worth a visit .

Riverside tea room in Ironbridge could be easy to miss , look for their boards . not far from the main car park. Situated inside a antique kind of shop. Seating inside and outside by the river Severn. Service and food was good, shame a lot of menu items not available as busy earlier that day. A nice stop when in Ironbride.

Wish we had seen the reviews first but we visited the antique centre and went in for a snack. Asked what we wanted before allocating a table. Menu was above serving area and not everything was available. Avoid the sausage rolls, they are microwaved without asking if you want them hot. Soggy mess. Tea weak. Not a nice place to eat and expensive for poor quality food.

We popped in for a little afternoon tea after a walk in the area and were delighted with the experience - the lemon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream were superb as was our table overlooking the River Severn .Friendly helpful staff and prompt service .A really nice interlude !

Saw this place online whilst on our hols and drove into the town as it specified it was a dog-friendly tea room with plant based options. Its cold and small and doesnt really have room for dogs but we were hungry, so......couldnt see anything remotely vegan so tried to ascertain where we could sit and what was available but were just rudely instructed several times by the young girl behind the counter that we had to order first before we sat. Okaaay....so we asked for drinks first; coffee machine out of order, can only do tea and instant coffee. No thanks. What plant milks do you have? Only semi-skimmed. (!?!) Right, you know what, I dont think we'll bother. I'll forget about the 3 quid we just paid for parking and we'll go home for lunch instead. What a rubbish place. Stay away. I wish I could give it zero stars.

We had two jacket potatoes with a low quality cheese and no salad. We also had two cans of pop, and the price of £14.50 was disgusting, even these days.

This is the worst Tearoom ever. The owner is abrupt and rude. Demanded to order before you can even read the meagre menu, Not cheap either. Upon leaving had to move this sign to get out. It claims to be busy, but was empty. The owner was actually outside walking her dog! In any other setting it would be out of business in a month. Avoid!!!

The location is beautiful, the terrace is lovely to sit at but the food is alful. After going years ago before lockdown I found the cafe was lovely for a panini and coffee but fast forward to now and times have changed. The soup I ordered came out of a supermarket plastic cup, with a still frozen bread roll. £6 I could have gone to coop and have a nicer lunch. My sons sausage roll he said was nice but kids do like sausage rolls. My friends cheese sandwich looked awful. My friend asked for a simple cheese sandwich for her son and they said they can’t as everything comes in pre made. Such a shame because the location is beautiful. So many other nice places in Ironbridge.

Lovely Looking cakes. Nice and moist. Coffee good as well although could be a bit hotter. Cake frosting could use a little more vanilla flavour. Although the lemon and blueberry did live up to flavours promised.

Riverside Tea Room sounds like it will be a pretty little tea room overlooking the river. There is a nice terrace area outside but if you're sitting inside it's a soulless tired cafe. The food is awful. The "croque monsieur" is a pre-packaged toastie which...

Dog friendly stupidity having had to follow a one way system around antique's with 2 dog's we were then told we had to order at the entrance before we were allocated a table. You just lost orders for 5 people. Madness

Was wary of getting food from these type of establishments Papa John's Lansdowne Bournemouth noticed the guy making pizza also operating till what would happen if cash sale handling dirty money then making your pizza no gloves no hand washing before how can this be allowed pizza wasn't even fully baked in my view seems I was right about these places

Every table was full with half eaten food, so struggles to find anywhere to sit. Only 2 members of staff working.. one in kitchen and one on tills and restaurant area. Asked for our blue light discount to be told if we weren't in uniform, we couldn't have it, despite showing our card. Really need to review the staffing and policies
