30 minutes waiting for cold food. Totally blanked by staff working there, so asked a staff member who was not on shift and she got the food replaced. It wasn't even that it was busy.

They always forget something from the order

I use early doors and find service and staff very good. Could be a bit quicker but it is evident that improvements are being made

I generally hate McDonalds. So unhealthy. The food should be banned. I went for a latte. Can't say anymore.

Ordered food on the Just eat app. Food was cold. Missing multiple items, I tried to call the restaurant multiple times but no response. Poor Service.

Beautiful renovation, atmospheric. Everything is clean and new. Large parking lot, convenient enough. Food is like anywhere else, when there are a lot of people it can be cold. The staff is slow

Horrible experience as. The franchise owner doesn’t care about the staff and doesn’t want to employ more staff to help. This place is the most failed outlets in all of England. The IT system to process devised orders was better in 1997.

Good McDonald's, was not too busy when there, food was cooked in quite a quick time and was hot which was good. Used the drive through last time and that experience was also good so happy with this Donald's.

Just had our first Macdonald's in ages and what a disappointment it was, food was barely warm, will not be going back!!!!

Ordered a takeaway tonight. It did not arrive within the time given when I checked it had been left on the doorstep no one rang a bell by which stage it was freezing cold, then I tried to use the virtual assistant to voice my complaint, this did not work either,what a waste of money,disgusting

I ordered takeaway and i wait 25 minutes for the drink and the person from drink spoke with a colleague and when i asked for my drink she told me to wait and a manger step in front of me to and told me to wait till it's ready the manager is a chubby person and when i asked for her name and the person who makes the drinks run from me Rude personal and the Manager who yells at customers and delivery drivers for no reason because they don't want to work Date Sunday 9 February 2025 around 9 pm

Food was cold as it normally is Ben the manager informed an apology and an offer of a replacement offered but I had a medical appointment so no time to wait and eat. He just walked away with no other resolution. POOR

Not so fast food. And when it does arrive it's lukewarm at best. Disappointing.

Used the drive through today at 8.40 was asked to wait for my food along with 11 other customers. Waiting seems to be the norm here last time i came i waited 40 mins for my food. The manager needs a kick in the backside so do the people cooking food. There busy time and no food ready !!!!! The food was awfull too, when i eventually got it 15 mins later, even my dog refused it and she normally wolfs it down. Will go to another branch next time will not go back here even if they gave the food away.

This McDonald's has been going down hill for a while. The only reason I still go is because my son likes it but the food is always cold, service extremely slow, which defeats the purpose of fast food.

Great Central location but make sure you check you've got everything before you go, especially when using the drive through. Staff friendly and short waiting times.

This McDonald’s has to be the worst iv ordered from! Everytime we order it takes atleast 1 hour to come it’s got to be the most slowest McDonald’s ever!! And everytime we receive it it’s cold, i really don’t know why I bother ordering from here because it’s the same every single time!!

Continues to be the most inefficient McDonald's I've been too. On my mosy recent visit it took 35 minutes and one complaint for a double cheeseburger and fries! Certainly not "fast food".

Just been to the drive thru and ordered two 20 nugget share boxes to get home and realise we were charged for them but only received one! Not happy!

I dont know what has recently happened but everytime I visit the Wellington Mcdonald the food is barely warm! I could understand that this can happen with the delivery however not when you eat inside! I recently ordered chips and cheeseburger and both were just cold! Its waste of money

I just ordered a meal for my son to be told they do not accept £50 notes because there are too many fakes around. I am highly offended and also was then forced to pay with my card. When I payed I then realised they had charged me for 2 fries by accident. I was not willing to wait for a refund so ended up paying the extra fries on top of being offended by the staff

Disgusting service food arrived after an hour, cost £17 had to throw in bin. It was sitting in the store for 50 mins then they sent it out THEN THEY BLAME UBER, this store is absolutely disgusting. I phone next morning as they wouldn’t answer the phone BASICALLY THEY BLAME UNER UNER BLAME THEM . My food was sitting there from 10:57 until 11:45 then they sent it out ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

Ordered a Bigmac . Was good except for a tangy taste.... I would ordinarily prefer a more subtle tangy or sweet taste.....

I had an awful delivery last time. We ordered 2 burger meals but they forgot about one of the burgers with a drink. They only gave us fries and the other meal.

Ordered on the delivery app, fries were cold on arrival and missing a 20box of nuggets. Wouldn’t bother using the app as there is no way to report missing items and can’t even phone up….this place is becoming an absolute joke. Always something wrong with the order!

Food is good as per all McDonald's, however terrible drive thru service! So many things have been missed out on my order each time I visit that I have to check my bag fully each time I collect. This does not happen at any other branch I have visited. Currently writing this while waiting for about 15 minutes in a side bay waiting for my breakfast order... If you want a McDonald's, go to another restaurant! Not reliable at all. UPDATE: Just been given the wrong order again! Do Not leave without checking your order first. Every other McDonald's I've been to in my life has never gotten an order wrong. There is something seriously wrong with this branch.. UPDATE UPDATE: 9 Months later and still getting orders wrong! Had to walk in after ordering in the drive thru to get the order I asked for...

Went to the drive through this morning, 11/12/24 at 6.24am. Sat there for 5 minutes, a van pulled into the other order point, the order was taken for the van within a minute whilst I continued to wait, still not served, so drove off. Will not be using this useless restaurant again. Customer service is a lot to be desired !!!!

Breakfast wrap not good, ended up with food poisoning

Absolute joke, i got told it would be 10-15 mins 1 hour later still walked out no food left empty handed joke.

Every time I go here the drive through is really slow and it takes ages for the food to come out, tonight it took over 30 minutes from joining the queue to receiving our food, when it was brought to our car, (we had to park up) it was cold and the order was wrong so I had to go back in to complain, worst McDonald’s.

Absolutely disgusted. Ordered on the app to deliver to the hospital as was waiting in A&E. I waited 2 hrs to get the order and when it came only half the order came. I drove to the restaurant and ask to speak with the manager who was dealing with bins. He also seemed agitated. He took my food and threw it in the bin. He didn't let me know what he was doing. He then went to prepare my food without washing his hands. While preparing the food he he did so with attitude slamming and throwing things. When I spoke up about him not washing his hand his continued with the food, at this point I said I didn't want the food he prepared and would need to be done again. I am appalled at the behaviour of the manager.

Will forget at least one item from your order guaranteed

Skanky service skanky atmosphere. Late evening passing through, awful service, the assistant in booth kept getting the order wrong at first had to break down for her several times then ended up teaching her simple math on how things add up but she still managed to mess up our order over charged us and items missing as well wrong drink. The second window the remaining assistants caked faces thought there maybe eyelashes falling in the food would have gone in demanding exchange or refund but the wait was so long for just to see they messed up the order. it would’ve taken twice longer to get it right and we were tired and as explained passing by, avoid especially travelling with young family.

The worst service I've received from any McDonald's. Waited 10mins to collect my coffee which was sat on the shelf all that time, so it was cold. Couldn't wait to get it remade

Tuesday night and we waited 50 minutes for food, most of it was cold and one of the happy meals had the wrong main meal in it

Shocking service over 15 minutes sat in lane 2 of the drive thru watching the other lane be served. Finally got served after the 5th person told them I had been waiting a long time. Additionally to this they consistently get delivery orders wrong.

The drive through is the slowest it's ever been at this particular McDonald's (Wrekin Retail Park). It's got worse over recent months (August-November). Don't go if you're in a hurry, have impatient young children or you simply don't want to drive around looking for a vacant parking space as you wait for your order. Seriously, 40 minute wait for one Big Mac meal is a joke. This is at time of any day of the week.

This is what I was told after waiting 15 minutes for a McPlant meal and chicken nuggets happy meal in the drive through! Too many click and collect and delivery drivers, drive though just have to wait! Chaos in the restaurant then the meal finally turned up but not the correct order. Had asked for the McPlant burger plain with nothing on it arrived with salad et al…..Poor service and poor attitude due to very busy making it a stressful visit!

Took nearly an 40minutes from sitting down until we got the food order. Couldn't order on the app due to issues in store so had to order at the machine. When food arrived at the table, no apology for the excessive wait and the person looked absolutely fed up. A shame as the food was all cooked well and presented with care. There is a reading book corner for little ones, as well as the free tablets to play on. Parking okay as after rush hour. Would try again based on food quality, customer service needs vastly improving.

Had nuggets missing , box of 20 Call up For refund , get told they are sorry , gave a code to have 2 medium meals , go to use this afternoon to be told it’s one burger , doesn’t even cover my missing nuggets . What a joke , always orders are wrong

Worst McDonald's in Telford always getting the order wrong. Have to wait for ages for your food even though it's been sat there the whole time and the staff never look like the want to work there almost like it's a chore to do there job. I wouldn't recommend at all.

Really. Disappointing this morning. Ended up leaving without my order due to waiting far too long and if I had waited any longer I would have been late in my travels to compete in a major sports tournament. Food pilling up and not getting orders put together on time. No announcement from staff to say about the delay. Pre warning. Few members of staff looking like there was no sense of urgency. Never seen it like this before. No one to ask to cancel the order to refund cost. Delivery drivers were getting agitated. Some orders were being dealt with before the earlier ones. So there were order numbers 17 (for example) still waiting and orders in the 30s being sorted before the backlog. Awful today.

So yet again Mcdonalds wrekin retail park Telford are bloody useless, so the food was fine, for change,but I ordered a large strawberry milkshake, which I've just checked on my online order it is there, but when I looked at the receipt on the food bag it said diet coke, I ordered a diet coke for my girlfriend but milkshake for myself, can they get anything right, think they need more training, and less time messing on there mobiles

Dunno where to start except I ordered last night as you can see it’s different to what it says on the box and on top of that the burger in there isn’t what it says on either of those just 2 dry burgers between baps? Then I get cold soggy chips and a wrap with enough sauce to choke a person which was dry hard and inedible the only thing edible was my milkshake and that’s not even food! You call yourself a restaurant I call you an embarrassment you deliver my order late and had courier waiting 30 minutes so you had 30 minutes to get an order right sorry but does that look right to you? Your establishment and staff are an absolute joke and a failure to society can’t even make a burger? I’d hate to see any of you in a job that actually adds to society and the rest of the world cause we would all be screwed if you can’t even hear food up correctly employee some decent staff or shut down!

McDonald's is McDonald's, you get what you order. My mine review isn't the restaurant but the delivery guys filling the waiting area inside the restaurant which hinders everyone trying to collect their order and their parking in Disabled parking places. Often we have difficulties parking near the entrance and on occasions we've challenged them and we either get "I don't understand" of "I'll only be 5 mins" neither help us. We have spoken to the manager and they say "There's not alot they can do" or "They understand our problem and will speak to them later. This hole situation needs looking at by upper management to find an answer. Possibly they use the drive through they all have cars, and those on bikes can come in and queue like the rest of us. Hope this finds the right eyes and is acted on.

It’s a McDonald’s so the food is never excellent. It was very busy and rather slow. I saw a bunch of people get food ahead of me that shouldn’t have as I waited for a specific item.

Called to Drive Thru for a quick burger takeaway. Only one car in front of us, but we were in queue, after ordering, more than 20 minutes just waiting to pay. The car in front was having issues with payment, but instead of asking them to sort it outside of the queue, everyone had to wait while 4 different people waved various handsets at the phone being used. The issue wasn't resolved, and the car in front was eventually moved to a different area. By this time the queue was very long behind us. When we finally were served the food was cold and congealed. It had been prepared at the time of our order but had been standing for all the time that we were waiting. It's a shame that a bit of common sense wasn't used sooner to get the queue moving again. We often call to Drive Thru for a quick, convenient snack, but I'm afraid we will now think twice before doing so.

Slowest McDonald’s in the world, definitely not fast food.

This the worst MCD in Telford. Never order at the end when breakfast menu changes. Ordered 4 hash and 2 coffees. Waited 40 min just to be told they don't have hash anymore. Substituted for chips that were gross

Always busy so can be a wait for food. Plenty of parking, good range of shops near it. On the plus side it has a book area with bean bags for the kids, so they can sit and look at the books, this was encouraging to see!

To be fair the service is slow..just eat orders are manic I the store. However when you get the food it's usually fresh and hot

Whenever I buy food from here it never comes as I want it, always items missing or wrong items or cold food or chips half filled etc. it’s not good enough when someone is paying with her hard worked money to be served by about a 16 year old who doesn’t see it as a job and just a social place. The staff members are always so rude and just dying to get back to their mates to carry on messing about with them. It isn’t hard to get the right items in the bag, especially when you’re getting paid for it. Maybe they should employee more mature workers to ensure the service is how it should be. Do better because I will not be coming back until it has changed.

Constantly getting orders wrong and very poor hygiene

Just couldn’t get my order right. The worker didn’t even know what was on their menu and didn’t listen to my order. Too busy trying to tell me I’d ordered a side and not a main. Had a drive through but it was so slow.

I waited until i got home to have my food to find my cappuccino was only half full and one of my pancake looked like it had a bite from it. The wait wasn’t too bad and a lady was kind enough to ask if we needed help which was nice of her.

Why pull the wool over people’s eyes… This is what makes mcds a naff experience. The 2nd lot you gave me I’m convinced you just splashed in the fryer for 30 seconds… not returning. Be more honest next time 👍

Came for breakfast, but ypu have to get here early. If you come after 9am it is way too busy with delivery drivers. The priority is then online orders and restaurant customers have to wait so long to get their food.

Not a good experience. Saw some people come in and order early morning on Saturday 22nd June at the screens. Once order was ready, a server was “shouting” the reference number to a nearly empty store, and when no response was given tossing the food into the hot bit. The customers weren’t happy with this not knowing whose food it was, and it turned out the order was asked for “Table Service” so the customer wasn’t expecting to collect the food from the counter so didn’t make note of the reference number, understandably. Not professional service at all. Will not return.

This has to be one of the worst McDonald's around. I ordered two coffees with no food whatsoever and it took thirty-five minutes to get my drinks. I wouldn't mind if it was a one off but this is happened to me and my missus five times here. When we got the drinks. Our coffees were just milk and water. That's a joke. The staff seem disconnected and altogether not bothered. Fast food - yeah right! In thirty-five minutes I could make a fresh cheeseburger at home so what's the point in this place existing!

Worst maci we've been in, 25 mins waiting for food , some was missing, what came was cold, apart from the coke that was warm.. the delivery's have taken over, meant to be fast food, never go there again! We were a party of 10 !
