We were a bit concerned about some of the reviews of this bar but we need not have worried. We visited early in the evening for a drink before dinner. We had two small bottles of prosecco which cost £15.60 and we were pleased that the staff were so meticulous about cleaning the glasses.

Shocking door staff with attitude, 56 years of age not allowed in without ID. Although had a mainstream uk bank card, several people outside not allowed in 40 50’s plus, was speaking to a family outside that were not allowed to enter without ID. Ridiculous reasons Proof of ID at my age I carry a veterans card, yet I can’t get in a bit of a bar which is hardly the ritz, men and women outside in there 50’s totally bewildered with not being allowed access, whoever makes the polices, whether it be council or management best thing to do is extend the bowling alley on top of it.

Awful place, I would like to start by saying the owner is very obnoxious, and the staff are rude. The food is terrible and the service is appalling. Drinks are overpriced. This place needs to be shut down.

Albert’s Shed – Telford Undoubtedly the most eccentric looking bar I ever entered. This is one of a chain of pubs (I have seen them in Manchester and Shrewsbury too though this is the only one I went in). The theme is that of Albert having used his shed(s) to store all kinds of eclectic junk and oddities, including car and moped parts, rope swings and unusual notices, surreal pop-art, etc. The pubs serve real ales and pizzas too. I think I’d get on well with Albert if we met. His shed is not a million miles removed from my own storage areas. Fun pub that serves as a live entertainment venue too.

Visited this place on a quiet sunday afternoon with my family got for a few drinks. Staff very very rude, treated my daughter disgustingly. Never been to a place with such rude staff before. Would never visit again. No wonder why it was so empty. Toilets disgusting. Not friendly at all.

I've been here a few times and it is decent to be fair. Great décor and theming on the inside, lovely fire pit in the middle, live music and a decent selection of beers. Looses a few stars as on my last visit, me and my wife wanted to pop in for a quiet drink after visiting the Christmas market, but we was refused because I didn't have shoes on. I'd understand if I was in London or Manchester, but c'mon lads, it's Telford.

Ignorant and rude security, No locks on toilet doors, wee everywhere, bad hygiene, no toilet roll, music was good that was about it, shame the band wasn't playing outside against the wall cause atleast then I would of been in a better mood whilst listening to them, classy band in a run down place, should invest in a mop and a wet floor sign before hiring the three mouthy balloons on the door. 2 stars for the music

This place (like a lot of bars) has mixed use, so it's different in the day to how it is on the night. I've been in during the day, and to be fair its got a decent focal point in the middle, with an array of swing chairs around a fire/centre piece. There are seating options inside and outside, and generally they are in decent condition. If your at that end of the city centre then give it a try as it's as good as anything else in the town, caters to most people, and you'll get varying degrees of service dependent on who's working. Basically, your average bar food type place anywhere these days. However, on the night, let's get this straight from the off, this is not a bar for the older generation. So if your over the age of 30 I'd question your motives for being in there....I'm past my 30th b'day an found this out the hard way as we went in for birthday drinks! If your under 25, an looking for a place in Telford to have a night out, then this place has all the usual shenanigans and I'd say its probably a 3/4 star experience in line with any other youngsters bar. There really isn't any other option for youngsters so expect to find every variety and type of kid in here from emo to fake rapper. The bouncers are good lads, and if they turn you away, its probably them trying to do you a favour, as they have realised that your not the type/age group to enjoy the place but they can't just say that for obvious reasons. Overall, the place is pretty bang average but a necessity for the town in my opinion.

We had relatives down from Newcastle and saw there was live music on. The band was absolutely brilliant but the venue was far from it. One particular bouncer was just plain rude. He seemed on a mission to single out men and was determined to find 'something', to the point that he had to check one lads beanie THREE times, completely empty his wallet and had a serious attitude problem??? Once inside, it became apparent that he should have spent more time verifying young ladies ID. There were a group of girls (and really I mean kids) that spent the whole evening running round the place and climbing all over the furniture. It felt more like a youth club that served alcohol. The bar staff seemed inconvenienced, however the glass collector was very pleasant. Long story short, I won't be going back.

Visit this bar on 3 separate occasions in 3 years and exactly the same experience. They are welcoming in the day while they are serving food and taking your money, night time is a different experience.I visited with my wife on 3 separate occasions after attending the Telford arena.Every single time we tried to get in the venue at different times, 6pm, 8pm,11pm we were refused entry from some ridiculous excuses. The first was we are full so we said no problem we will wait until 4/5 people come out only to be told they don’t operate like that no one else is coming in.On another occasion we were told bar staff cannot cope. This place is an absolute joke, we asked to see the manager but told was unavailable, like I’ve said they will take your money all day but at night they do whatever they please, avoid this joke of a bar

I have visited here a couple of times, the last time being on Saturday. Firstly, I’d like to say how lovely Faye, one of the bar staff was, she was so friendly, bubbly and a great asset to the team, Alberts Shed is definitely lucky to have her as an employee. Finally, I am usually very cautious about going out and drinking due to being a young female and the risk of being spiked. So it was great to see the staff handing out “StopTops” which were sticky foil covers to cover your drink when you ordered. This was great and made me feel more at ease while out. However what I would advise is that males are offered them as well, it was only females being given them, this could cause scrutiny later on. Overall though a very pleasant experience, with some great staff members.

I pre-booked the table; we arrived and no table had been reserved for us. The staff then took 15 minutes to organise a table. We ordered the drinks and food, ( they had sold out of all vegan and vegetarian options apart from a starter) but the service was very slow. The staff were generally inattentive and pre-occupied. Two members of staff stood at the end of the bar on their phones whilst we waited to be served at the bar. When our food arrived it was incorrect and two dishes had to be sent back- if you have allergies or food sensitivities- BEWARE! The staff who delivered our food were very helpful - a contrast to the rest of the team. The food was good and reasonably priced. Overall the food was good and of a satisfactory price but the staff let the whole experience down.

The pub looks pretty cool and has a good selection of drinks followed by tasty food; but that's where it ends. The staff are incredibly dopey and don't really have much clue. First an order of 6 drinks was completely wrong. Any questions we had for staff was met with "errrrrrrrrrrrr....." As they aimlessly looked around them as if the answer was gonna smack them in the face. The food was ordered all together and came out in either one or two meals at a time across nearly ten minutes. It took 15 minutes to get served at the bar , despite having only two people In front and 7 visible staff. The food was great so compliments to the chef's but the front is poorly managed and staff lack knowledge of both their job and basic product knowledge. The glasses we were given for our drinks were also absolutely disgusting , how you can put a drink in those is beyond me.

Popped in after a visit to the exotic zoo. I had a double bacon cheeseburger with fries, partner had a hotdog and fries and little one had a cheese burger meal. All arrived within 15 minutes or so and it was amazing. Tasted fantastic with lovely seasoned fries. For 3 meals plus 4 drinks came to just over 25 quid. Absolute bargain and well worth a visit for some lunch!

I really wouldn’t recommend, paid all that money for cold food, the extra portion of chips I ordered was laughable with the amount of chips they put in the box, I opened it and thought they’ve either ran out of chips or someone’s ate most of chips for me! Ridiculous, won’t be wasting my money here again I’m afraid.

Absolutely disgraceful service from EMILY who told me and my baby to go elsewhere when I asked how long my order would take after sitting at the Drivethrough for over 20 minutes with no explanation. When I suggested I would make a complaint she happily told me it would only go through to her anyway. I am customer facing in my job and if I spoke to my clients like that I would no longer be employed. Maybe this restaurant should be more selective when hiring a representative of the business. Instead of rude, childish, bad mannered children with no social skills whatsoever. I won’t be leaving it there. Where has the customer service gone in this country??? A simple apology and explanation was literally all I needed and I would have been happy to wait a little longer.

Oh how this Krispy Kremes has changed. It is tired and worn wall fixed tables have food stuck along the sides and wood chips missing from them. The Mens lavatory has had the seat broken and a wrong size smaller seat fixed so your legs and touching urine unless you spend the time to clear it all first. The staff member named Anwar was so busy talking at the counter edge when we busted to a man and his wife he left the girl who was working with him to do all the serving. The people he was talking to the lady leaned off the counter with her legs stuck out in the way whilst her husband stood near the bathroom entrance and were soon joined by there children who further just stood in everyone’s way whilst they held a good 25 min conversation. Very unprofessional. Krispy Kremes corporate can review this no doubt in there CCTV recordings. The donuts them selves are the same as always thank god they are made of site and only delivered. In all the years we have been going here the one thing all staff members mention is that the head office doesn’t know whether to spend the money and do it up or to let the lease go, maybe they should make there mind up.
