TGI Fridays in Telford and Wrekin

Came in for a meal with my family to celebrate my sons birthday, service was quick and polite, our waitress Jordan was very professional and always making sure our drinks were stocked up and we were okay, food was delicious, desserts were also good, they even gave my son a birthday cake and a song for his birthday, will definitely be coming again! Thank you TGI’s and thank you Jordan!

Absolutely great afternoon out for a family birthday bottomless brunch. Carl our waiter was brilliant at keeping us entertained.

Greeted at the front door quickly and seated straight away. Drinks came quickly and were really tasty and same for food! Joel was very attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable, a credit to the team!

Very good customer service considering we turned up with a table of 13 people without prior booking. We were made welcome and given the option to order on the app so that we could split our bill easier - this was fab for the size of the group but did mean our food came out at different times to eachother. The table we were at was big enough for all of us to be able to chat to eachother without disturbing other tables and we thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks. Thank you to the staff who looked after us on Sunday 27/10/24.

Has gone downhill from when it opened which is a shame as we love TGI'S

Should've gone to maccies! Same amount of food and quality for half the price! First and last time I'll go to a tgi Fridays. The chicken strips were ok, but for £20 the fries were cold and hard, and get more at mc Donald's. Honestly disappointed with the quality of the food for the amount I paid!

What a half soaked effort . Very disappointed with today’s visit . We were literally the first people in the place and I’d hate to see how they cope when it is busy . 1. Restaurant was very cold . 2. My chicken sat under the serving lights for 12 minutes ( I timed it ) . By the time it came out it was like warm . 3. Fries sat there for same time and were all virtually cold . 4. Meals were all served except one and we were half way through ours before it came . 5. No apology other than it took longer to cook - not sure how as we had ordered other burgers . But they did add another patty . 6. No one asked if we enjoyed the meal. 7. Took over half an ho our food to be served I spoke to them at the time re delay to meal and to be honest by the time I left I simply couldn’t be bothered to raise it again as i was freezing cold and totally cheesed off. There seemed no one could be bothered . Won’t be rushing back .

We ordered for delivery TGI Fridays for lunch today. It was awful. Couldn't eat it. The food was burnt and the hot dogs were old and hard to bite. Disgusting!!!!

Great place to eat, family friendly and awesome service from Joel. Would definitely recommend to family and friends..

i visited the restaurant earlier this week and was excellently served by caitlin who was attentive and helpful throughout my entire experience. the food was excellent and all needs were met perfectly by caitlin

Came here for food and had Caitlin as our waitress. Food was really nice, all staff were friendly but caitlin was great, every restaurant needs a waitress like caitlin we will definitely be coming back again if she is working she really made our night!

The girl who served us (Caitlin I believe) was incredibly polite. Her service felt very accommodating, and it completed the experience overall.

Staff were pleasant enough but service quite slow and wasn't that busy. The price for food is way above what it should be. I had a glazed chicken burger which was ok but the fries were way to salty. Couldn't eat them all. When asked why so much salt. Was informed it was seasoning. No it was too much salt. Will not go back again.

Edit: Dropping to 2 stars! 2-for-1 cocktails is an absolute joke when they charge you £16 for 1 cocktail!! This place is just a rip off. Save your money and eat somewhere else. --- Never been to a TGI Friday before so was looking forward to trying it. It was OK. Food was nice enough but nothing special. Seemed to have a long wait for everything (including the bill at the end of the meal) even though it was fairly quiet. Seemed quite expensive too. Will probably go again, but not overly fussed about it.

Ok food Great service Little pricey for what it is

Not one for reviews but credit where it's due. Visited on Friday and was served by Steve. We received efficient, friendly and helpful service. All staff were proactive and made us feel welcome. I ordered sesame chicken which was delicious. Portion was large for me (and I have a good appetite). They catered for our daughter's allergies very well. They even adapted a dessert she wanted so that she could enjoy a 'proper pudding' - most restaurants nearby don't accommodate her dietary needs, so she was over the moon. Will definitely be visiting again, thank you!

I recently visited TGI Fridays and had a great time! The food was amazing as always. Special thanks to Jack, our server, who was fantastic. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Jack’s excellent service definitely made the visit more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back!

Went here with my mom yesterday and food was lukewarm at best her burger was covered in grease and tasted funny Not a great experience at all Really disappointing as we went to the same restaurant last year and it was great Waiter knocked 10% off the bill when we complained We normally have pudding after aswell but we didn’t bother

My meal was horrible was cold and chicken was full of oil I did have 10% discount but think I should have had a full refund I left most of it

Though delivered on time the delivery time changed so much that food arrived an hour and half after ordered. Food was good quality and tasted nice but was cold

Disappointed as spent £50 on food and it turned up cold had to put chips and and cheese rings in bin as both were like rubber

Lovely food and drink. We were served by Jordan M who checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Atmosphere, as always, chill and relaxed. Very lovely evening.

Very basic menu. Nothing jumped out as something I would choose to it. The sesame chicken I chose was nice and fries, coleslaw and dip were very tasty. Quite pricey for what it was and service was really slow. Took a while to take our order for both drinks and food. We almost left but did not wait long for food to arrive after our order was taken. Staff were friendly

Caitlin was Super friendly and very helpful and remembered all of our meal order without writing it down Absolutely brilliant service we will definitely be coming back 5 star

We went for a girls Bottomless brunch and had a great time. Our server Carl was very welcoming and helpful and made sure we were doing ok. Lost 1 star as I felt there could have been more choice of cocktails and I would have liked more food included to soak up that alcohol, but on the whole we were happy.

Jess was lovey very nice and talkative as a 14 year old with my mates she was very good deffo deserves a raise

We went as a last minute decision to TGI’s telford because we were in the area for my son’s birthday. The staff were absolutely amazing and because my son had told the lady it was his birthday when he walked in, they all surprised him with a slice of birthday cake and signing 🥳 They made him feel that bit more special and it was very much appreciated! Thank you to the staff working the lunch time shift on 07/09/2024! Fab team 🫶🏻

Tuesday nite was dead but its Tuesday nite and kids go back to school so Early nite.

Service wasn’t the best, only a couple of customers there when we arrived & waited about 10 minutes to be seen, there was another family also looking for the waiter/waitress. Finally got seated, the menu seemed a lot smaller compared to other TGIs I’ve visited. We got the double burger which was £25… definitely not worth £25. Mac & cheese as a side was so dry & flavourless. Been to other TGIs before and had good service & good food, 1 pasta dish, 3 burgers & 4 pops came to over £125.. should’ve gone to miller & carter for that price. Won’t visit again unfortunately. Also had to chase the waiter to pay after waiting nearly half an hour.

Carl was amazing and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, give Carl a raise!! The food was amazing and the service made the atmosphere entirely welcoming!

The food was really nice, the service was not. We had a starter then waited and waited for the main, maybe half hour passes still nothing. The first waiter that took our order, trying to be cocky and acting effeminate more than doing his job never put the main through Waiting to order more drinks he just kept waking past. I was going to walk out. My gf spoke to another waiter who was super helpful and got our dinner and more drinks. His customer service was outstanding We go to TGI each time we're in Telford but never again now

Overpriced and underwelming food. Chicken dry, salad very expensive for a few leaves. Just go for a drink and eat elsewhere.

Had a great lunch out today - service was fantastic, food was delicious and the atmosphere was really good. The team went out of their way to make sure our little one has a great time, thank you so much guys :)

TIP: you must ask for the special menus as it is clear having visited occasionally over the last few years that it's a deliberate policy from all staff to only give you the full priced menus. It's an awful attitude and must be called out. Service was mixed. Greeted fine on arrival but had to call over a lady to take our order - 20 mins after being seated and ignored. Order mixed up but they sorted. Got over charged for the wrong drink - again we had to raise it to sort it. Took forever to get the right bill. Food is OK but overpriced if paying full menu pricing. Been visiting occasionally over the years and there is always something that doesn't go right here - it's doing well to remain operational as you don't feel an urge to recommend it or return.

Awful service. Waited for over an hour for a salad and burger then had to leave before it arrived.

Walked in. We were seated ok, although at a dirty table. We were given menus and then just left. We tried to get the waitresses' attention, but after 15 minutes of waiting to be served, we got up and walked out.

Staff were much more interested in attaching balloons to a balloon arch (at peak Saturday lunchtime). Ordering took a long time - we had to grab the attention of a waitress walking past, as otherwise we'd have been waiting even longer. Food took a very long time to arrive. We were seated near the entrance and it was uncomfortably cold and drafty because both entrance doors were propped open. The atmosphere was lacking - not helped by a balloon blowing machine being switched on periodically, which was about as loud as a vacuum cleaner. (Perhaps they could sort out balloons before they open if they are so important? 🙄) The food was completely mediocre. Prices were disproportionate to the overall experience (mains start at approx £20).

Jess was amazing quick and reliable service was amazing . The food and drinks were amazing aswell as reliable. Jess made us feel really welcome with a big smile .

Ordered a meal, didn’t receive the chips. Ordered a £15 hotdog came COLD and HARD. Ordered a child’s meal with extra fries, DID NOT receive the extra fries. Waist of nearly £43!!

Food is way over priced, all from the freezer to microwave people who like TGI’s have no taste buds. Over priced and service was very slow. Miller around the corner has better food, service and done by an actual chef. Amazing how they are still open

Here we go....table booked for 7.30pm for family of four ...8pm and still waiting...the rest of our friends were seated within 2 minutes of coming but they seemed to struggle to find a table for us or perhaps were a bit slow....anyhow after 8pm we took the matter into our own hands and put two tables together got some drinks and ordered food which was about 25-30 minutes waiting but it was good especially missus loaded chilli 🍟🍟🍟I opted for vegan tacos which were satisfyingly sufficient and ok price wise💪...would I come back again? No....but the decor and decorations are truly U.S.A. in every detail so nice one folks👍

I had a lovely meal today at Telford Fridays. Carl our server was lovely. Food, drinks and service was fast. Food was delicious. All the staff were friendly. I would highly recommend. Thankyou to all the staff today especially Carl :)

Amazong service here today, me and my wife had the bottomless chicken! Carl was top class! before I even finished my plate a fresh one was there ready to go! Same with the drink refils.. all the staff were excellent and the food was amazing!! Be coming again for sure..

2nd time being served by Carl here. Made sure myself, my wife and little man were well looked after each time! Can not fault the service he provided. Absolutely fantastic and would look forward to coming back. Carl, if you have the opportunity to read this, thank you!

We ordered both sharing platters, and well half the chicken was not edible dry, burnt, the mozzarella sticks were cooked that much there was nothing left inside! Chips cold and mac and cheese was dry no sauce and cold!!! Serving staff were amazing !

The staff went out of their way to help us despite there only being 2 of them covering the tables and the bar. Our daughter has intolerances and quite often has to miss out on things but they went above and beyond creating a special drink for her while her brothers had milkshakes. She felt really special and really loved it.

They were very polite especially the lovely lady Caitlin.

This is a nice TGI's branch compared to others I've seen . It's unbelievable how expensive it is , but I guess that's just 2024 for you. Nice food and good service, shout out to Samara for swapping out our sons Garlic bread which had come out burnt even though the kitchen had no other food to cook 🤷. Other than the price , this was a good experience.

The food wasn’t too bad, it’s the same whichever TGI you go to let’s be honest. Didn’t order anything too extravagant so it wasn’t possible to mess up anyway. The only thing that stood out here was the poor service from staff. Seems like they just hire kids that aren’t at all interested. As soon as we entered we waited by the bit you’re meant to wait at to be seated, I’m not even exaggerating we stood there 15 minutes before being seated, it wasn’t even that busy and staff 100% knew we were there. No excuses. The only reason we stayed is because we were so hungry. Also slow to bring drinks, probably to stop you having as many free refills even though you’re actually paying for them, and slow to bring the bill. Shame really, it’s a nice building, nice interior, nice branding and a good menu. The NYC taxi outside is a nice touch too. Maybe if I’m in Telford again I’ll try once more, hopefully you can redeem yourselves.

Fantastic girl who took us to a table and then served us was a credit to TGI FRIDAYS. THE BEST SERVICE FROM TGI FRIDAYS. as this was my first time at Telford TGI Fridays it will not be my last at this one.

Won't be returning Tried it twice and both times been overpriced and overcooked. Got served the wrong cocktails.

Fantastic service and a very helpful waitress Jess informed us of the app and offers available. Very fast table service. Food itself was mediocre, brioche bun and garlic bread stale, pasta was served Luke warm. What made up for poor food was Jess and her very helpful nature.

We were a family of 6 adults and 1child and went there for a meal to celebrate my special day. We were given a warm welcome by Megan who was friendly and served us well. I was so disappointed about the food, the worst sirloin steak from TJI FRIDAY’S restaurant. I didn’t like the food but I still paid the full price. Then we ordered virgin mojito, the glasses were three quarters full of ice and it wasn’t tasty at all.We did ask for something to be done and they tried but still it made no difference. I was very disappointed 😞 hence the rating.

Great food, great service. The last few times we have had Carl serving us who is always attentive, friendly & helpful. Highly recommend
