Molly was an amazing server! Our first time here and we’ll absolutely be coming back, food was also incredible. Really can’t fault it!

One of the waiters was rude to me. He was treating me as if I could not understand English. This is a shame because last time when we went, we had a lovely service. Also, some parts of steak were too chewy like rubber (it was sirloin med rare)

Lovely warm welcome awaited us at Miller and Carter Telford. 4 of us went. Seated very quickly. Food was piping hot and delicious. Big shout out to Sarah for going above and beyond to help my wife as she is vegetarian and GF choose her meal and dessert due to there being limited options on the menu for her. Thanks Sarah for being very friendly and helpful! We will come back again and everyone in our little party enjoyed ourselves 😊

Amazing service with amazing food!

The food was delicious, we shared a chateaubriand with the sides (fries, mac & cheese, salad) and the service was lovely. Molly, who looked after us this evening, was so lovely, helpful and recommended us some great dishes. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening here.

The food is always beautiful I had a vegan burger with chips however the look and presentation was not great I think for the sake of a bit of coleslaw in a pot or a little garnish on the side it would improve it massively. It just looked incomplete. Our server was Chris and he was great more than competent in his job role and nice and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

First time here in Telford I have to admit upon entering the one person was a little off that's why I gave 4* but the rest of the service was excellent Atmosphere how do I put know life didn't feel like a special place to go considering the price Stakes are absolutely beautiful could cut with the back of the knife had one cocktail Christmas one can't remember the name but it was like a cranberry sour with vodka very nice Would I go to this miller & carter again simple answer no I will go to some others the local to me and see the difference y don't took me he paid about £138 for both of us I'll be perfectly honest I expected much more of the place The ladies toilets was dirty

Excellent as always. Paige, our waitress, was especially attentive today and that made the experience all the better!

Our server, Sarah, was lovely. Very friendly, very attentive, always smiling, yet working very hard to keep all of her tables happy. Can't fault her at all. The food was delicious; never had a disappointing meal at Miller and Carter. I had the 20oz T-bone with a lobster tail and it was delightful. Steak was cooked perfectly and I'd never had lobster before but I'll definitely be having it again. Wife had a burger which has to be the most flavoursome burger we've ever had (classic wife move, I had to finish the burger.)

Chris looked after us in the Telford restaurant he was super attentive. Chris was really knowledgeable on the drinks list and wine choices and he offered some good advice to help us choose wine . Food was exceptional even though the restaurant was really busy and we didn't feel at all over looked. Steak was amazing totally recommend to anyone .

My 67th birthday treat. Couldn't have been better. The food was top drawer and the lovely Sarah introduced herself with a cheerful manor that put us at ease and informed us she would be looking after us and was true to her word.

Miller and Carter Telford Chris whipped out the Happy Birthday slate... Unexpectedly. He provided a great service from when we sat down to when we left. Great guy and provided comedy. Top bloke.

We had a great team Christmas lunch here. Food was good, hot and tasty. Our server Chris was very entertaining and attentive.

I can't recommend this place enough, the food is amazing, atmosphere is great and the place is comfortable. The staff are world class, friendly and really know the menu and always willing to help! Thanks to Mindaugas and Millie in particular! We'll be back when we're next in the area 🙂

My partner and myself have just walked into Miller and Carter, Southwater. We waited several minuets at the front desk to be seen to a table but unfortunately no luck. A member of staff behind the bar made eye contact with us twice and did not proceed to make his colleague aware we were waiting. The other member of staff was sitting at a table laying cutlery, we made eye contact with them but yet again, no one approached us. We then decided not to give them our money or time and walked out, we are now Sat in another restaurant in Southwater where we were seated in seconds of walking in. I understand that working in hospitality has pressurising moments however this did not reflect today. Only 3 tables full in the restaurant and I counted 4 members of staff on. Disappointed with your service today which is such a shame as we really love the food.

We had a really lovely meal here for our anniversary. Our server Chris was absolutely fantastic and gave us a small masterclass in red wine and was incredibly knowledgeable. He was very attentive and his service was excellent, and made our visit tailored to us. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were made to feel so welcome and everything was conducted at a comfortable pace. Big thank you to all of the staff and especially to Chris for making our evening so lovely :)

Great steakhouse good choice service was good during this visit. Advise booking a table ahead of meal. New York cheesecake was amazing.

Lovely lunch in Miller today. Even though the grills were broken and no steaks available, the staff were very accomodating. Chris, our waiter, who has served us before, is fab! He's so friendly and helpful, a real asset to your business.

We have eaten in Liverpool a few times and been extremely impressed. Tried telford yesterday. A few differences ..Had several servers. One guy was rushing round and felt a bit rushed tbh. We had steak and pork tomahawk. Asked for a steak knife. But just pointed to normal knife and fork. Use that one mmmm! We asked for time before the dessert and it was bought anyway. The difference I found between the two establishments was the prep of food. Particularly the dessert. Didn't look appetising at all. We left after paying and usually leave our server a good tip. I will try telford again perhapsvin new year when busy period has ended before making another review

Prices were a little more than I would normally spend, but the food was worth it. We all had steaks which were tender and tasty. Our waitress (Sarah?) was so helpful, advising us on menu choices. I was really pleased that you offered vegetables as an option to chips or potatoes, a brilliant decision. The way the onions were cooked was lovely, a hit with us all. We were offered free bubbly as one member of the party had a birthday which was a good addition.

First class food, wine and service. Paige was a star serving our large table so well and accommodating our dietary intolerances. Try the spicy cauliflower wings. I had a fantastic ribeye steak and the best sorbet I think I've ever had. We had their glorious Zinfandel to quaff with our delicious food. We had so much fun i forgot to take photos!

A bit pricy but a cut above. I had the 5 month aged filet. Very tender, but it needs to be cooked over oak to be as good as it could be. Excellent meal and service. Highly recommend if you feel like a splurge

First visit to M&C Telford, but food and service were excellent as I would expect from any M&C. Alana was attentive, and having spotted we were celebrating a birthday, brought an extra treat at the end of the meal. The only thing I would change is that I signed up for the loyalty scheme, but was not asked for my code when we paid, so forgot to collect the points. Would be good to be asked as a reminder.

The service was unacceptably slow. Firstly I had to chase drinks orders 3 times. Our food order did not go through and no one thought to check on us for 45 minutes. I asked after 45 minutes where our starters were and that is the only reason this oversight was spotted. No offer of recompense or goodwill was given. Our desserts were also extremely slow and our drinks , to accompany the mini desserts, came out 5 minutes before. It took so long to get served and eat the food we had to rush off as a member of the party had to go to work. Overall the quality of the food did not outweigh the service issues . The waitress was new and she was clearly struggling and needed some more training. The restaurant seemed fully staffed and got quieter so there was no reason why this could not have been considered.

My partner and I ate from the lunch time menu which was 3 courses for just under £20! Great value for money and would definitely recommend! Starters were lovely (I recommend the halloumi fried) and we both went for the steak sandwich for mains and although it was tasty, it wouldn’t be something we’d necessarily order again. Deserts were nice also! We were served by Sarah who explained the menu fully to us and was very attentive :) We’ll definitely be coming back but trying other items on the main menu👍🏼

Wonderful birthday meal for my wife, staff very welcoming, Sarah was out server and even went above and beyond to surprise my wife for her birthday, polite and punctual. Very happy with our visit.

My wife & I were having an overdue date night. We booked Millet & Carter Telford, which we have been to a fair few times before. As we were waiting to be seated it was visible that there were a few tables that hadn't been cleared and there didn't seem to be that many staff members on. After a few minutes wait, we were seated and given the option of the regular menu or the Sunday "set" menu. We both picked the 3 course set menu. The starters came, I opted for the calamari & my wife had the king prawns. We both enjoyed our starters. For mains my wife had the 8oz sirloin & I opted for the 10oz Rib Eye. Both steaks were very tasty, although mine was rather chewy for a rib-eye but the flavours were there.. Desert my wife has the sticky toffee pudding and I had the lemon tart... again we both enjoyed our deserts, the lemon tart in particular was delicious. There were no real issues with the food, the only issue really was with the service. Our waitress was a blonde lady, she did say her name at the beginning but I honestly cannot remember it. We were sat in a 2 seater booth more or less bang on the middle of the restaurant. There seems to be a long delay in our played being taken away. We had to ask another waitress where ours was to get a second round of drinks, we had to ask for the plates to be taken away, especially when the young lad, who seems to be the food runner, Broughton it lettuce wedges out ready for our mains yet our starter plates were still on the table. Again, when we had finished we had to ask another member of staff where our waitress was to get our mains plates taken away and to order the desert. It appears she was sat around the corner having a meeting with her manager, to which she did apologise for, to her credit. All in all, the service wasn't great, and the restaurant did look untidy as it seems to have minimal staff in. We can't really fault the food. I am guessing as it is a Sunday "set price" menu then Miller & Carter reduce costs by having less staff in, and as we were on the set menu then maybe we can sort of expect a lesser amount of service..? (Although saying that, the bill still came to £97 for the 2 of us... So £100 is still quite a pricey date night which is we cannot afford to do it that often). We probably will return to Miller & Carter but they are not as good as they used to be and certainly locally there are other establishments that provide better steaks and better service (The Horsehoes at Uckington on the old A5 for one)

Intimate, not overcrowded, very comfortable and excellent personal service. My favourite branch by far. Just shared the 'Butchers Block' with my husband and WOW. Each steak cooked exactly how we asked and melt in the mouth. Mentioned we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and our waitress acknowledged this with a special platter. Sign up to the steak club before you go and receive a complimentary glass of wine. 5 stars plus every time.

Always a great experience at Miller and Carter Southwater Telford. Our waitress for the evening was Sarah who was just fabulously friendly and knowledgeable but a great enthusiasm in her work which adds to our dining experience so think you Sarah.

I gotta say, whenever your expectations get high, you are bound to be dissappointed. Once again, I find myself on a business trip, and after being on my feet all day, I find myself craving a great steak. Well, what I got here was not exactly great, which you'd except considering the Ribeye I ordered set me back 33 pounds, and I paid for 2. It was alright at best, can't exactly say the same for my colleague's steak, who's was far more raw than rare and had to he sent back to the kitchen. The meat itself was obviously of great quality, the one cooking it, however, was not. Another thing to point out were the seasoned fries. I do not know what they were supposed to be seasoned by, the tears of the overworked staff??? They were just salty, I was expecting more flavor since seasoned was in the bloody name. The salad wedge was good, as was the bone marrow sauce. Also the onions you get along with your steak were amazing, whoever did those deserves serious praise. As for the drinks, we as Czechs have some serious standards in regards to beer. We had 2 pints each of the Primavera, an Italian brand I assume. It had more in common with sparkling water than beer. Maybe if it actually was sparkling water with beer flavor then I would be more alright with it. Also, when I make a reservation for 20:30, and I get there on that time, I expect to be seated. Having to wait for 10 minutes for a reserved table after a long day doesn't exactly improve your spirits, or your first impressions. Considering I walked away with a full belly and at least somewhat satisfied, I'll leave three stars and get dinner somewhere else next time.

Visited today (10/11/24) and noticed the new Sunday lunchtime sharing board. We were served by Sarah, who did a fantastic job of looking after us. The food was cooked to perfection and superb value for money. The service could not be faulted and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it as somewhere to eat....

Ver lovely waitress Rachelle, couldn’t fault her service🙂 The spicy salad dressing had corriander in it, I wasn’t expecting that, it didn’t say on the menu. I don’t have an allergy but can’t stand it! I’m not alone so maybe a heads up on the menu might be good.
