The best restaurants serving Default food in Ironbridge Gorge Telford and Wrekin West Midlands

Quintessentially perfect! The afternoon tea was scrumptious; homemade cakes, scones, brownies, sandwiches, quiche along with fresh fruit, homemade chilli jam and coleslaw. I took my partner here for his birthday plus I also proposed to him. The staff were incredible. Nicki was wonderful. Thank you for all you did for us. XX

Waited for more than an hour and a half for food, but since they take your money at the beginning you cannot even leave

Just had the most wonderful stay last weekend. Staff were so lovely and helpful. Food was superb and what a beautiful location. Such great value too! We will be back.

Love it here lots of little independent shops for gifts and a delicious breakfast and coffee in the café

Wow! Came for afternoon tea and we were not disappointed! Cannot fault anything, from the friendly welcome that we received and the amazing food. Coffee was delicious and despite our best efforts we failed to finish the gorgeous cakes, we were however supplied with a box to bring it home with us to enjoy later! Highly recommend and will be back again! Thanks

The Ironmaster breakfast is outstanding - everything was cooked to perfection, plus great value with two drinks and toast/jams all included

Honestly can't recommend this venue high enough....booking a table on-line was simplicity itself, literally a couple of clicks, job done. Once at the Elephant crossing the welcome is warm and friendly, the service is second to none and the atmosphere is fantastic. Chloe was our hostess and she couldn't have been more helpful, she was bubbly and attentive and definitely a credit to the venue. The restaurant has a beautiful outside terraced area with excellent views across the river. The food was beautifully presented, of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. 2 meals I would recommend are the pulled pork Sunday roast and the surf and turf ...both meals totally worth the price My wife and I REALLY enjoyed our visit and would not hesitate to eat here again and am happy to recommend it to anyone looking to dine out in Ironbridge .

Lovely ice cream! We had one scoop each (3 tubs) the portion size was good and price as standard for similar outlets! I also purchased some crochet ice creams that I saw in the window, handmade by a local resident.

Nice little place, but unfortunately very overpriced for what was pretty average food. Don't think we'll bother again.

Nice location and the staff were very pleasant but sadly the food was disappointing. Nothing tasted fresh and all was pretty bland.

We want to thank the wonderful Jackie for her kindness on making us marvellous fresh cups of tea to go an hour before official opening of the tea rooms as we had arrived early by car from the Belfast/Liverpool ferry en route to a wedding in Cornwall and were in desperate need of a refreshing brew

Great coffee…possibly the best in Ironbridge! Great menu, something for everyone and all well cooked and presented. Not cheap exact e but good value I’d say.

Well what a warm welcome from all the team!!!! Stayed over BH weekend. Fantastic breakfast on the Saturday morning. Amazing roast beef Sunday lunch, cooked to perfection. Stayed over in our MH. Will definitely return. Keep up the hard work team. You are all brilliant!!!!!
