The Ironbridge Tea Rooms in Telford and Wrekin

We want to thank the wonderful Jackie for her kindness on making us marvellous fresh cups of tea to go an hour before official opening of the tea rooms as we had arrived early by car from the Belfast/Liverpool ferry en route to a wedding in Cornwall and were in desperate need of a refreshing brew

Lovely full English breakfast sitting in the sunny square looking across at the bridge. Coffee was just excellent!

Whether it's just a brew or you also want food, the menu is extensive! All locally sourced/home made ingredients and the Cappuccino Creme was simply delicious. Lovely little deli too and all the staff so friendly. A lovely place to stop, rest and recharge your batteries!

I was visiting Ironbridge with my hubby and popped in for a panini and latte. Very nice food. Very friendly too. Would recommend.

Offul staff,very expencive tea 4.40 for two people,i was shocked,and its not special,just ordinary tea bag,probably the cheepest,and very weak,cake was dry,not fresh,staff not plesant,never agai,waist £15

Ordered tea for 2 as my colleagues couldnt drink it all asked for a cup myself was refused unless paid again by rude staff who looked down at me as if i was unimportant . Would be better to take flask and anything not drunk could be put in it for later . I wrote complaint after but Manager Nigel discourteous and unprofessional as was Donna who also replied . Quite frankly how they get customers to there again with the poor standard of staff and rudeness i will never know . I asked for by e mail photos of sgns re extra cups they wouldnt send them £6.30 for 3 teas is not cheap . . This was said *I’m not quite sure what I can do to put matters right so its better if you can tell me please? * I suggested free tea or cake next time . Reply was then * I find your whole argument based on wanting something for free! ^ Because i complained look what this Donna Byard said *In the meantime I will ask around to find out who your employer is and make sure they see the kind of person they have employed.* Other people had same rudeness look below ,One to avoid .

Everytime we go to Ironbridge it is not complete without a trip to the tea rooms. As well as eating in you can buy tea to bring room. Try their barabrith lovely lightly toasted with butter

Ate here for a quick bite to eat. Disappointed no cream tea on offer and tea itself was rather weak even after stirring. Main concern were the public toilets adjacent. The smell was awful. Two cubicles unusable and absolutely filty. No times for last cleaned. I attempted to use at 1pm. Puts me off visiting ironbridge again.

What a lovely little place this is and right near the famous Ironbridge... staff are friendly and accommodating and coffee / cakes are fab. Recommend a visit if you are in this famous town.

All the staff are very welcoming and give excellent service plus a there's good choice of food. will definitely visit again

Popped in for a coffee and ended up ordering cake as well as they looked irrisisible, Place was spottlessly clean, Service was very quick, great tea & coffee plus the portions of cake very large & absolutely delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've have been here several times with my friend and it has always been lovely. The choice is great but I have coeliac disease so the choice for me is never great.... not here there is always plenty to choose from. The tea is good too!

Although not too busy it took us a while for them to take our order, but once it came the hot chocolates and speciality teas where tasty. Would recommend and go again.

Hubby and I had jacket potato with chilli and ham salad. Good food, but to be honest slightly over priced...we feel that this was because they have a captive audience

Viaje a Gales del Norte pensamos que este sería un pequeño y bonito pueblo de parada en el camino medio, para un tentempié. Precioso lugar con un poco de historia y algunas tiendas muy bonitas. Teníamos un buen servicio y buen té y pasteles. Realmente no puedo decir más.

Nice atmosphere, clean, good service Great coffee sited opposite the actual Iron Bridge. Have to say parking anywhere in the gorge is a nightmare so be prepared to walk.

Dos amigos en busca de una comida ligera. Fuimos a las habitaciones de té. El menú era exactamente lo que estábamos buscando. Aunque estábamos un poco para elegir. Yo tenía el chocolate caliente, que era precioso y cremosa. Ambos tuvimos el pollo, tocino y baguette mayo tirada. Había un montón de abundante y era muy sabrosa. La ensalada era agradable y fresco y el aliño casera era encantador. Gran ambiente y el personal encantador. Buena relación calidad-precio. Sin duda que volveré.

We went here a few times and ate both inside and out. Outside is beautiful, but the wasps were a real pain. The food was delicious and the cappuccino with cream to die for. Lovely friendly staff

Sit enjoying a cup of Specialist Tea or Coffee whilst looking out over the Ironbridge and the seven gorge.

Big selection softness and coffees the fruit scone was dry and hard with small jam prepackaged and a small tub of Cornish cream for £2.80 plus £2.50 fora pot of tea for 1 and £4.00 for 2 would have been better with a fresh scone

Enjoy a proper cuppa while overlooking Iron Bridge and watching the world go by.Good service and reasonable prices..

Refreshing pot of tea and a beautiful slice of Victorian sponge cake, in a lovely setting. What more could you ask for.

we arrived in ironbridge at lunchtime, and had a lovely lunch here. Good service, nice omelette and breakfast baguette.

Sit outside or inside and you will be served by happy people, the menu is very good and coffee is delicious. They serve many speciality Teas and lovely cakes etc.

Excellent service with good food at a reasonable price, in the centre of IRONBRIDGE with easy access to the bridge and the museums.
