Amazing service Claire makes you feel so welcome All staff are lovely and atmosphere is great

I popped in here for some food and some drinks with friends, and had the best welcoming by the manager Claire she was extremely helpful and sweet. She was just lovely, and welcomed us with the best, biggest and warmest smile ever. I have never felt so welcomed in a restaurant before. She also helped me with anything I asked, Claire is the best part of management and I hope she stays there for years and years. Thank you again Claire

Ryan and james man what a pair of lads, absolutely lovely and messed with our friend for a laugh. Chatty pair and super friendly 10/10 service and the drinks were banging also

Took my granddaughter for food yesterday, found a table which didn’t have a reserved card on. Once we did we ordered drinks before we looked at the menu, the young man who Serviced me was very Pleasant and helpful. minutes of sitting down after ordering food a different staff member came and told me he had just taken a phone booking and I had to get a move on as they wanted the table, when I stated I had only just ordered our food he told me surely I could be quick and go before they turned up. Within minutes of the food being brought out he was asking if everything was ok and. Would we be much longer and hope everything was ok. My granddaughter didn’t even get to finish her pudding or her drink as he was hanging about making us feel very uncomfortable, it’s a place I will never return to again. Don’t go unless you ask if you have more than 10 minutes without get harassed to eat up and leave.

Astonishing service from ryan and james, not a single need unmet

Sunny was an absolute banging server for us tonight and Ryan was the best help we could’ve had, so welcoming and couldn’t stop laughing and smiling at the hospitality these two had!! Better than bloody Birmingham that’s for sure 😂😂

Atmosphere was calm and nice, Food tasted lovely (although my son wasn't fond of the flatbread kids pizza - bit wet and sloppy).

I'm sorry but this was very bad food in general. The Pizza for my child was tasteless...so bad she just had 1 slice and nobody really wanted the leftovers. Overcooked and bland beef steak (we ordered medium but came well made). Child burgers were also a bit disappointing but I'll imagine ok for kids that don't mind what they have, but I tried a bit of leftover from my child and was not impressed by that that tony overcooked/gummy pattie. Korean BBQ burger is overpriced in my opinion and again, I was not impressed by it. My expectations on food from pub chains are low, yes... but I've had better pub food even recently in other locations, including the options for kids. Service/attention was good at least.

Visited on the 3rd September 2024 for my 24th birthday, and I have to compliment the whole team for their great customer service and the amazing quality of food. We had Rhys assist us with our visit and he was brilliant, friendly and approachable. When the birthday cake come out, I have to admit that the experience was amazing! Thank you ever so much and we hope to come again very soon!

Had a nice family meal at the Wrekin Giant great customer service from Kelly and Kirsty. They both were very helpful, respectful and down to earth. I would recommend to anyone who wants a nice family meal out at a good reasonable price to go to The Wreckin Giant in Telford. I give The Wreckin Giant five stars out of five for their great service and staff.

Had an excellent time at the Wrekin giant. Ryan and Claire absolutely went out of their way to accommodate my every need. Food and beer was great would highly recommend.

The assistant manager was amazing. So accommodating and made my birthday such a brilliant evening. An absolute gem to the company, an amazing person overall. Very lucky to have here🤍

I went to this pub for convenience, I downloaded the app, it was rubbish, but then we were served by Sunny he was extremely helpful and as we ate he we could hear him serving customers. This guy has extremely good customer service

Absolutely disgusted and upset at what happened I went for bday meal with friends to have one of the waiters spill bbq sauce all down me which ruined my day as I felt very embarrassed and went home straight away I later went home and washed my clothes that had been covered including my £56 skims top hoping the stains would both come out intact they didn’t staff where useless and the manager just apologised not even a refund or anything I will be contacting them about my experience there as it’s not fair they have ruined my clothes now P.s the girl who had spilt the sause on me before begged me not to tell her manager and then I found out that the manager hadn’t been informed of the situation so thanks alot

Stopped here for tea on the way to our hotel and generally wished we hadn’t. Service was ok to be fair, but the food standard was shocking. The kids meals looked like they’d been left under heat lamps for a long time. The Sunday roast was anything but the ‘epic’ stated on the menu, with overdone roast potatoes and old fashioned terrible school dinner style turkey. (It tasted like it had been boiled!). This too looked like it had been left under heat lamps for an eternity, making the gravy have a skin and the mashed potatoes having a dry top. The crowing glory however was the vege burger, which can only be described as a hockey puck and had to go back and meant my wife ended up eating on her own. No offer of a free drink or something to compensate for the inedible food. Considering the restaurant is located between a dozen or so other eateries, like Nandos and Pizza Express, we came away disappointed.

Awful. Ordered a roast and the roast potatoes looked like lumps of coal - completely burnt. Shameful that the kitchen staff even thought it would be ok to plate them up looking like that. The jug of gravy may as well have been jelly, it was a congealed slop that certainly wasn't pourable. The pigs in blankets were the worst I've ever tasted and the mash wasn't even 'mashed' after coming out of the microwave- just plopped onto the plate with thick overcooked sections and a crust. Overall very disappointed with the food and would not recommend. Also there is a loose piece of carpet on the stairs to the toilets, it's a major tripping hazard. I mentioned it to a staff member who said she was aware but the sellotape wouldn't hold it. Well maybe try a more secure solution before somebody trips and falls down the stairs...!?

Good food and drink and nice staff

Came in for a meal with the family and was seated promptly and was amazed by the wide variety of food and drink to choose from. The servers were very quick and professional and the food was delightful. This was all down to the Tamara and Lauren, who made it a great experience

Ordered classic chicken new yorker. The chicken tasted like it has just come out of the fridge. It was chilled. I had to send it back. Fortunately the replacement was hot.

Mushroom starter was pathetic not as described was 4 tiny mushrooms on a dry piece of bread Mixed grill was inedible beef was grey, chicken rock hard, sausages dry Had 2 iced lattes both were undrinkable due to milk floaters like gone off milk had been used No service at all had to get own knifes forks etc Only thing that was ok was mac n cheese which had prob been microwaved

Thanks to Chelsea and Lauren for amazing food for tonight and even the extra pot of Korean bbq sauce absolutely loved it food was amazing

Nice pub with good food. The staff were friendly and polite. Lauren was helpful with modifying my burger and checked it was ok when she brought it over to the table. All other staff were friendly and helpful too.

Visited the wrekin giant today, lovely atmosphere, great food especially friendly service from kirsty, very attentive, kirsty went above and beyond for us,would defo revisit , staff made it a pleasant visit special thanks to the bar man(not sure on his name) also to kirsty fab funny welcoming lady thank you see you soon ❤️

I went with husband for dinner and we came in and it was very clean and had lovley atmosphere. The waiter jamie brang out our food and he was very friendly

We booked for 2:15, the guy who showed us to a table was attentive and funny, when we went to the bar to order food we were served by Tamara, she was very warm and attentive, funny too. The food was served quickly and was pretty good being honest, prices comparable with wether spoons but the quality was far superior.. Will certainly come back

Can't believe a Greene King pub has stopped selling Greene King ales. Ordering was slow due to only 2 staff on the bar considering it was peak time. Very noisy. On the plus side, the food was good, chicken sizzler, lamb kofta and child's chicken nuggets

Good food apart from missing flake in my sundae

On arrival met by Kirsty who was fab, shown to our table. The food was fast to arrive and great size portions. Kirsty checked in to make sure everything was fine with the meal and to see if we wanted any puds but we were all full. The atmosphere there was great playing great background music, the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. I would happily come here again.

We visited on the 1st for lunch. The girl who served us (Chloe) went and got us a highchair without even asking and then offered to properly clean it. She later came back to dry it off before we put our son in it. This is the first time we have ever had this service anywhere when dining. It was so refreshing as highchairs are always full of food and god knows what bacteria! Chloe’s customer service skills were outstanding throughout our time there, she came over a few times to check that we had everything we needed and to ask about the food. The food was nice , your typical pub food but nice nonetheless. Thankyou chloe for looking after us - you really are a credit to this restaurant and I hope they recognise what they have in you. :)

Lovely welcome on arrival, clean and tidy. A fantastic menu with a great array of choices of food, with plenty of excellent deals. A very good drinks menu, with lovely choices of cocktails and much more. The food was superb, excellent value for money. Kelly was so helpful with the food order, incredibly polite and friendly ;-) Excellent Service. Child friendly, great children’s menu. There are booths with Children’s TV’s programmes on. Happy families! Wheelchair friendly. Situated next to Telford Park, with fantastic facilities for families. We visited again, the service was excellent and attentive. Food was delicious, The Ultimate Big Candymania. My two tackled this, spoons at the ready and failed! This pudding would feed three little ones or two adults easily. Heaps of ice cream and cream and sprinkles…delicious! The Strawberry Dream Chocolate Frappe was thoroughly enjoyed by my daughter. It is a hot chocolate with ice, very tasty and fantastic price at £2.99. Once again a lovely and delightful evening. Thank you ;-)

Went last night 2 adults 2 kids food ok but terrible service so slow had to ask twice for kids pudding after 30 minutes wait also had to remind about kids drinks won't be returning

Tamara who was on tills this evening 12th July had great service easy to talk to, whenever I needed something for my 6 month old she was on hand and very quick to help make a bottle and get food. Such a confident worker and makes Wrekin giant a approachable pub/restaurant

Morning I have been using this pub since it opened and generally very happy, food, drinks,staff are always very friendly. I also pop in at least twice a week for a cup of tea. But Today it has gone up 20pence, not a big problem but a 10 per cent increase..And to top it all they don't have any tea spoons so I've got a dessert spoon. Come on sort yourself out.🤔😜👍
