We had a very nice lunch and just want to mention we have been here a few times lately and both times we were looked after by Aaliah. What a lovely kind girl she really looked after us well and hope to come again

Well what can one say?!!!! The service was top knotch especially Kirsty who got our order spot on. Chelsea was also lovely and welcoming., Could not have been better the meal was delicious.

Food were fantastic, tasty and Dilan was very nice and professional, highly recommended this place if you are around!!

Sunday roast is excellent, especially with John Smiths.

Been here several times but this was the worst food and service ever. Food - the beef was so hard we couldn’t even cut it with the knife, and it came out without any gravy on a Sunday lunch, we waited ages for someone to clear the table but couldn’t even see a waitress eventually we moved the plates myself to another table but then had to wait ages for the kids puddings. Definitely gone down hill wouldn’t go there again

This is my local pub and I come with my family and friends all the time. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming especially Kirsty

The place on Google maps and on doors states that it opens at 8am, once we arrived 8:10am in hopes to have warm breakfast. The place was still shut.

Very professional Tamara is first class she helped with my order and assisted me due to working away foods cheap and would definitely recommend. Will be back x

Visited on a Saturday lunch time, it wasn't busy when we arrived so we're served quickly. For 3 adults and a child I thought the food was quite expensive for what amounted to bog standard pub food. Portion sizes were small and food wasn't well cooked. Partners chicken breast was absolutely cremated to the point of being impossible to cut up and most of the chips were undercooked to the point of being very hard. We ordered desserts and despite being quiet took an absolute age to arrive. None of us particularly enjoyed the food but it filled a hole so to speak. We won't bother returning again though.

Plenty of choice on menu. Reasonably priced. Clean and good service. When busy, tables adjacent to the bar can be noisy

The worst hungry horse I've ever been in, it's dusty, dirty and in need of some TLC , carpets are thread bare, tables need to be refurbished , lamp shades etc dusty, knifes and forks dirty and there for all to grab , hopefully people wash there hands, table was also dirty and sticky. music really loud and more like a late night pub with large groups out on the party bus using bad language necking shots etc rather then the useal famiely feel. Food luke warm but we where so hungry and waited about 25mins we just ate it pretty basic bacon dry , not a lot of cheese and sauce wasn't it's best, no-one asked if everything ok and only 2 staff visable at bar but busy doing drink orders. Kids machines also dirty couldn't get photo as other children about. Out the front was a little run down too post sign door flapping about and glass windows and door filthy. Won't return here

We come here often and Kirsty is brilliant. She always makes an effort to come and talk to us and is always welcoming and funny. Food is good, dont think weve had a bad meal but what makes it is the staff.

Food and service was excellent as always and it's always a pleasure to see kirsty she is the life and soul of the place

I came in for drinks at this pub and as soon as I entered I felt welcomed by an amazing team that works there, the service was 10/10 and the staff were extremely attentive. I would to especially say a thank you to Darcie and Kirsty. I would recommend this to everyone.

Not the cleanest place we have visited, lots of tables needing cleaning. Chairs damaged, tatty etc. Service was lovely, staff fast, friendly and welcoming. Food average, nothing special. But it was quick, hot and presented nicely

Popped in for a bite to eat, the girl who served me ( Tamara) was very helpful,as i use a walking stick she offered to take my beer to my table, and also came back over so i could pay for my meal. I had Fish and chips,which was really tasty and freshly cooked and a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend Wrekin Giant I've been in quite a few times,and each time the food and staff have been excellent.

Food was excellent , really hot and delivered in good time. Staff were friendly and checked everything was ok. Only critique would be that the table we got seated at was quite grubby with sauce residue on the table and the menus. It was a pleasant visit overall though and would recommend

Good busy place, what you'd expect from the chain pub. Online booking got lost, so they had a shuffle around. Waited about 10 minutes for the table.

Went on a daddy daughter date, for a nice Sunday roast dinner Purchased a beef Sunday roast with extra roast potatoes and an extra Yorkshire. Also purchased a kid meal of the same. I ended up paying through the green king app to make it easier than lugging the little one up to the counter to order. After eating the meal I ordered an extra large apple juice and chocolate cake with chocolate whipped cream. The food was delicious and filling, service was quick about a 10 minute wait from ordering on the app to food delivered. Very happy with the service

Staff are always friendly and courteous. The food always arrives hot and well cooked. Very reasonable prices and some good daily offers.

Came in for food at around 8:30/9 ish, served by Chloe and Chelsea, food was nice and hot, they were attentive and welcoming and made us feel comfortable and made sure everything was okay with our food, would definitely recommend to anyone

Tried too book a table for 14 people for a birthday meal at the cuckoo oak and got refused point blank when asked if we just come in would that be ok to be told you just won't get served not fair on over customers too have too wait so called up the wrekin giant and spoke too Chelsea she was fantastic and got us all booked in on the night there were only 3 members off staff with a full restaurant as it was they all did a fantastic job brilliant service and want to thank Kirsty to for a fantastic evening.we definitely all be coming back.

Lovely breakfast experience celebrating my sons birthday. Tamara and kelly made it extra special by singing happy birthday when serving desert, thank you so much girls.

Me and my husband had a lovely evening meal here. Our server Zack was everything that we could ask for!

Had a lovely meal here and the beers were cheap, our waiter Zack was funny and very helpful/ accommodating.

Jamie one of the waiters provided fantastic service and was extremely well mannered. He made me feel extremely comfortable and provided me with a welcoming atmosphere that is definitely worthy of some type of reward.

Booked a table for me and my son for a school holiday treat. Turned up and waited to be seated as instructed. Waited a while then eventually seated next the kitchen door and the dirty glass collection. Table rocked and the floor under our table had food on it. Witnessed other people simply walking in seating themselves at better tables than we were given? What was the point of booking? Waited at the bar to be served for about 10 mins as only one bar person appeared to be serving. Food arrived quickly and was Ok. Represented good value for money on the whole but wouldn’t recommend. Visited before and had a much better experience previously. Afraid this will be our last visit 😟

I often bring my nephew here who is 9 as the staff have always been friendly to him and he loves the attention ( and the toy machines!) tonight we visited with my mom also. When I went to the bar to order, the young guy asked if we had any allergies. My nephew is currently under investigation for possible food allergies that we are working through. The two guys that we spoke to there were very well informed and offered us a tablet with vegan dishes on to help us. My nephew then went and found Kirsty who he loves to see and she offered him to try some vegan ice cream. He is a massive ice cream fan but at the moment we are cutting out Milk etc. he absolutely loved the ice cream which is good if it might end up being a better alternative for him. ( it’s actually really nice!) we really appreciate the brilliant service which we always get from there which is why we keep going back. Thanks!😀

Came in with family friends for my sisters baby shower food was amazing the atmosphere was great a nice busy Saturday all the staff was also amazing and I want to say massive thank you to Chelsea she was absolutely amazing from the moment we all stepped through the door it’s was an absolute delight we will back again.

Unfortunately although we had booked a table there was no one available to allocate us a table so we were unable to order our food via the App and when we tried the WiFi was poor so we had to go to the bar to order only to find that some items on the menu were out of stock. The food we got was not bad the dining experience was not one to remember. Disappointed and most probably will not go here again!

Great and friendly staff, Claire was an absolute star, professional and friendly. Visited the pub early in the morning on the 6th with my colleague. The place looks cozy, modern and vibrant. Definitely coming back.

Front of house found us a table despite it being busy. Ordered using the app but there was an issue paying with PayPal, I had to reorder and used Google pay which worked. I was concerned as I had been charged twice, but did receive an automated refund for the PayPal transaction. Food arrived in a timely manner and was very good, excellent value for the Sunday lunch deal.
