Delicious food (especially loved the baked aubergine and honey!) fantastic service , great value. Totally recommend!

This is a hidden gem, great selection of food, not over pretentious and highly tasty. 100% worth a visit.

The food wasn't good at all. The oil dip was far too strong olive oil. The chicken dish had no taste at all and the gamba were limp and tasteless. I mentioned it to the waitress and she laughed

Pleasant evening but staff a little stretched which didn't make it as relaxing as it could have been. Nice tasty food arrived quickly but had to wait a while for cutlery and crockery. Difficult to book a table as no on-line system and have to wait until restaurant is open. Food tastes and looked authentic and was reasonably priced. As it was busy, there was a nice buzz about the place very typical of Spanish restaurants

Good quality food, freshly prepared. Chef works on his own, so impressed with his ability to manage the 8 or so tables he has. Overall worth a visit, you need to book. Waiters could be more chatty and clearly lacked training, but this was a minor gripe as the food was tasty.

Excellent food The restaurant was busy, so it had a very good atmosphere. Service was very friendly, helpful and efficient. We were a party of 6 and everyone thought the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We called in on chance as we hadn't booked anywhere for a meal on our anniversary today. What a lovely little restaurant....Melissa the waitress was brilliant in every way. Order was taken quickly, food arrived piping hot and it was just a lovely meal all round. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Quaint upstairs restaurant. You approach the restaurant down an alley and the interior dimple and compact but don’t let that put you off. We didn’t know what to expect, but wow food incredible, hot, freshly cooked, flavoursome and uniquely Spanish. Also the quickest service we’ve ever experienced. Waitress was knowledgable efficient and friendly. Highly recommend a visit if in the area.

Booked at very short notice by email and received a very quick confirmation. Location is very cosy and intimate with good service and amazing Tapas. The Spanish Chef is amazing and we were delighted with the flavours and presentation of the meals we ordered. And excellent value for money

Lovely authentic Spanish food. We had a large party of guests and ordered nearly every dish on the menu and food was absolutely delicious. Would have given 5 stars but the drinks service from the young waiters was very slow and we had to keep reminding them for our drinks. Other than that lovely little restaurant in Ironbridge!

Wow, wow, wow! We visited here last night, and were allowed to bring our well behaved dog with us as we are on holiday. It was really quiet as it was a Wednesday, but they had been fully booked the night before. The young people who were front of house were a delight to chat with and nothing was too much trouble. I had a small jug of sangria………the most delicious that I have ever had - apparently a traditional Spanish recipe with cinnamon in too. The food was absolutely delicious- one dish with prawns containing 4 enormous prawns that were just so sweet and tasty. We had some bread and oil to start and then 4 dishes from the hot menu to share. They were very generous and we were filled up with those. When we return to the area, which we will , we will certainly be back here to eat. Thank you for a lovely meal.

I love places like this, owner/chef operated with some friendly assistance. Great service with a mix of traditional and novel tapas selection, my favourite being dates wrapped in jamon with pepper and banana. Really good value and a nice setting above a tea room with a backdrop of slightly cheesy Spanish music - bravo!

We visited here while staying in a nearby hotel and really enjoyed it. It's a quaint little place above a shop. The food and service was excellent.

Pre ordered paella which was very tasty, as were the tapas dishes. Complemented by a nice jug of sangria. All in all a very enjoyable evening & would definitely recommend.

Just had a smashing meal here. Great choice of tapas, all freshly prepared. Great service and a top notch Tarta de Santiago to follow. This is our second visit with about 15 years between and we were delighted to discover that it is still going strong. Busy on a Friday night and it filled up so book! We’ll be back. Two waiting staff was amazing, asked us if we would like desert so we ordered the churros to be told they cannot be served as they was to busy, bearing in mind only 8 people in there. Take them off the menu if you can’t provide them. Food was ok

We visited La Casita on Saturday 28.10.2023 whilst visiting family who had been to the restaurant on a previous occasion and we really enjoyed both the restaurant and the food Admittedly it has a limited menu but, bearing in mind the size of the place (particularly the kitchen), with just one chef who works so hard getting dishes out, it's not surprising and they should be complimented on the quality of the food which is produced We sampled and enjoyed, pretty much, every small plate on offer and the food was to a very high standard and sufficient for the four of us and we followed these with desserts and, I must say, the Almond Cake, particularly, was superb This is a very cosy, intimate, restaurant which feels like you've been welcomed into someones dining room at home so it has a charm and warm feeling about the place which encourages interaction between diners which is nice All in all this was a great experience, we would be happy to return, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend

I made a booking four days in advance via email and had an email confirmation, however when I turned up they had not put us in the book and so turned us away because they had accepted another booking. Other than a half hearted attempt to offer us some wine or a discount (which is useless because we won't be returning!), they essentially shrugged their shoulders and sent us on our way. Extremely disappointing as this booking was made in advance and was to celebrate my best friends 30th birthday and instead we had to scramble to find somewhere else. (If this happens to anyone else, I suggest the mexican tapas restaurant a few doors down which has fantastic staff and gorgeous food!)

First time visiting La Casita and will definitely be returning! Hats off to the chef for catering for a family of 6 as well as other tables and the food served was absolutely delicious! Every dish (and we probably had most of the menu) tasted amazing. The staff were attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

The food here is pretty good but the staff need training .Left without cutlery on both courses . I asked for salt and pepper and it was thrown across the table in those awful sachets I can laugh at this now but it could prevent me from going back particularly when I asked the waiter what a particular ice cream desert was.The wording was in Spanish and he tells me it’s pig fat .Nice!Pig fat on an ice cream ! Its actually the literal translation of pig fat in Spanish and it’s a cookie /biscuit and he’s been asked loads of times .For goodness sake train your staff

Delicious tapas. We had a variety of dishes and each one was equally delicious. Nice variety on the menu and a lovely drinks menu too.

We went here last Saturday evening, we hadn't booked but they managed to accommodate us. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and flavoursome. My pina colada were rather nice also. I would highly recommend.

Food is always authentic, very reasonably priced, great atmosphere. Conveniently situated in the middle of the village, just a few metres from the iconic bridge.

We booked a table for this evening, as friends of ours had highly recommended La Casita to us. The food was really lovely. But sadly, the young girl who was serving was extremely unprofessional. She had a friend sat in the corner and they were moaning and slagging people off, looking on phones and laughing, talking about drugs etc. Not once did she ask if our meals were ok. We sadly ended up cutting our meal short and asking for a bill, still she kept talking to her friend! Very sad, as it was a lovely place and wonderful food.

So, the last time we ate tapas was in Barcelona and this place really didn't disappoint. The menu covered everything we expected to see. Food was cooked beautifully and well presented. Our waitress was lovely and could not have done more to make us feel welcome. What a gem

Booked a table here for tonight - arrived on time but no booking when we proved we made a call to the restaurant with a 3 min call they said it was not their number and no tables available . We are now sat in a restaurant 3 doors down and checked number we had correct number and the restaurant lied to us .will pop in on the way home just to confirm the number . Disappointed that they messed up and lied

A little gem of a Spanish restraint, the food and the Service were excellent, all the tapas we selected were just as you would expect to be severed if you were in a Spanish restraint. Would definitely recommend. Would be coming back when we are back in Ironbridge.

A great place to eat if you want all of your family be violently sick during the night following an evening meal, and for the symptoms to last approximately 48 hours. The subsequent complaint to the owner was not replied to. The one star goes to the waitress who was great.

Having read the other reviews on this site I wonder if the restaurant has recently changed hands or if we just caught it on a bad night The menu was small and given it was a tapas bar I found the lack of croquettes inexplicable Apparently you have to order them in advance but how you are meant to know that is a mystery We ordered some cold starters one of which was a mixture of hams with manchego cheese The small dish which was pretty obviously made up of pre cut meats of the sort available at all supermarkets came with a scattering on top of mini bread sticks The bread and oil we ordered was a cold dry baguette that had been sliced into uneven hunks and the cheese with figs was slices of cheese onto which what I suspect was one dry fig had been scattered The hot food we ordered to be fair was ok but as an overall experience it was pretty poor and for what it was very expensive and very disappointing.

Very nice food. Fast service. Quite garlicky! Happy pleasant waiter. Only downside was toilets were out of order! We would have stayed for drinks had there been a toilet!

A few friends and I decided to try La Casita in December. It is a wonderful restaurant, well kept and small. The food was superb and gave us the taste of authentic Spain. The only let down was the staff. We were served by a young girl with short brown hair who seemed very polite, but when talking behind the bar seemed rude towards other members of staff and about customers. She also seemed preoccupied by her phone, leaving us unserved for considerable amounts of time. This is a shame as it deters me from visiting again, despite the food being superb.

This is the first time I have been to a tapas bar and every single dish has been either good or excellent. We particularly enjoyed the prawns and the tortilla although it was all good along with house wine. This was also the cheapest tapas bar I have been to in the UK but there was no compromise on quality. The house red at about 5.50 for a large glass was also outstanding value. If you are staying in Ironbridge I highly recommend you book this place!

We had a large selection of the tapas on offer and it was all delicious. The owner and waitress were very friendly and helpful. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

We loved everything about this little restaurant - the atmosphere, service, food, wine and price. A fabulous evening.

The food was absolutely delicious and would love to taste it again. 4 stars only because after a server accidentally dropped something into my full wine glass which broke and splashed wine onto my wife's suede jacket the follow up was not great. It was a genuine accident and the server was profusely upset and apologetic but we weren't offered a replacement for the lost wine nor means to repair the wine on the coat. However, I would encourage my friends to visit this small, intimate restaurant and enjoy the lovely tapas.

If you're expecting authentic, don't go to La Casita. It's about as Spanish Manuel out of Fawlty Towers. There is nothing else I can say. It was not Covid that made to food almost inedible, but a lack of understanding and knowledge of Spanish Food

La Casita is an excellent tapas restaurant. The member of staff working on the night was very polite and very good at her job. The food came out quickly and was of a very high standard.
