We’re always attracted to the “lounge” chain of café bars, so we visited this one after dinner in the centre of Telford. It had a large and pleasant interior and nice staff. It made a pleasant end to our evening.

Monday afternoon lunch was perfect 8/7/24 Lovely tasty food good amount, nice and fresh and prompt. Always find the staff to be pleasant and polite. Thank all staff please.

Always get great service, great choice of drinks and food. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely time for birthday breakfast

It’s a very nice cafe, with good food, reasonable prices, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they have special offers that makes it even more attractive. I enjoyed my meals there.

Had brunch with daughter and partner..... great place, very friendly staff and not too noisy which is excellent for my daughter who is autistic. We are regulars here at Novello Lounge as the food is amazing .....

I eat here regularly for lunch. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, and the food is consistently superb. It's hard to find a place that is consistently top class and the guys at Novello have never let me down.

Quant eatery in Telford situated just outside the shopping centre. Tastefully decorated with a very ambient atmosphere with an extensive and not too expensive menu. This venue allows dogs in and even has a watering and feeding station for them and on the occasions I have visited, has been busy with people of all ages. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to ensure that you have a good dining experience. I highly recommend trying this venue out.

Best place to eat in Southwater, and the staff are a credit to this place.

Our party of 18 dined here on a Monday evening. I had put in a ‘group reservation request’ via the restaurant home page but I wasn’t contacted (they said this doesn’t work - may be worth taking this form down if this is the case). The booking was confirmed when we phoned the morning of the meal. It was explained that the food may not come out of the kitchen at the same time due to our party dive which we accepted. A long ‘banquet style’ table was reserved for us when we arrived. It wasn’t table service - you went to the bar and ordered drinks and food and paid for it there and then. This works really well for a large group (saves splitting the bill etc). Food came pretty quickly and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Good offers on for Mondays and Tuesdays (Monday being a free drink with any main meal - really good value). Nice staff and atmosphere. Would recommend eating here for groups.

Visited for a quick coffee and the service was excellent, polite and friendly staff. Decided to visit again for dinner, the children (18 & 13 years old) and I had a lovely time. Easy to order via app, helpful and polite staff, they’re always busy yet have time to ensure every table is settled and happy with everything. The food is delicious and drinks great, I must admit the coffee is delightful and I’m fussy! A calm and chilled atmosphere despite being busy. Wheelchair access. Ideal for children and families. Situation next to other restaurants and great shopping facilities. A fantastic park (Telford) a couple of minutes walk, which offers fabulous family friendly activities and much more… Overall - Excellent.

We visited on a Saturday morning, it was relatively busy which made it very loud and not very relaxing. Ordered on the app. Everything seemed very overpriced. Waited what seemed like hours for food and when it came was bang average. Had far better for less money elsewhere

The Smashed avocado brunch with bacon is my go to here. So flavourful and always beautifully presented. All food is always lovely, coffee is really nice, team are really friendly and atmosphere is great! Highly recommend!

Plenty of space, really friendly staff (nothing was too much trouble) and food was spot on. Will be coming back next year! As soon as you walk in you feel relaxed. Such a great place!

We arranged to meet friends in the town centre because it’s conveniently halfway and there’s easy parking. The food was good and the service was efficient but it was a very busy lunchtime and one friend has a hearing impairments and we found it very hard to converse because of the noise level. Will need to take more care when choosing a venue in future as this is a common problem in chain restaurants with hard surfaces and poor acoustics. Pity as we all enjoyed the meals.

came for breakfast - was good, took a little while to come out but was worth it - we were overcharges as not explained we couldn't swap stuff so worked out a bit more than budgeted for. but was really nice and great surroundings

We came here after miller and carter, the drinks we had were nice the hand made drinks are a bit weird, nice but wouldn't order them again. Our friends had some food and they enjoyed it as well.

Came here for a double surprise birthday party. The staff were accommodating with balloons and bringing out cake and the food and drink was great - reasonably priced and super tasty. Would highly recommend!

Free for all with table & seating arrangements as you can’t book and you just have to grab a table as soon as someone leaves which is quite an awkward experience especially when the tables are still dirty with other peoples leftovers, staff are great food is great.

Went for a couple of drinks and me and my friend have ended up being really ill - will not be returning! We only had a couple of cocktails but they were clearly not made correctly!

Always had a great experience here. The food is great quality and they take fantastic care when it comes to allergies. Good selection of Vegetarian and Vegan options too. Good atmosphere and staff are friendly and helpful. Service is always quick including food orders.

We visited here at 1.30 in half term, the place was very busy but we managed to grab a table of four. The atmosphere was really chilled vibe, menu extensive and reasonable prices. Two of our party had the tapas, one the breakfast and I opted for the Chicken Bombay Burger, it was absolutely amazing and so full of flavour. The place was spotless and so were the toilets. Staff polite and attentive. Food excellent. Will definitely be returning.Thank you Novello.

This is the best place to eat in Southwater. It offers a range of items, that could be eaten all day, at a great price, and is delicious food. If you go I recommend you get something with the fritters, they are to die for.

There were four of us in our party including one person who is gluten free. There was plenty of choice on the menu for her - something that can’t always be said when if we eat out. We all thought that the staff very friendly, attentive and nothing seemed too much trouble. The atmosphere inside Novello Lounge was relaxed meaning we could really enjoy our food. The quality of food was excellent and with so much choice on offer we will be returning.

Stopped for lunch with my son whilst visiting town. Great menu choice with lots of variety. Went for the 3 tapas dishes for £12.95 and had 3 each and ordered different dishes so we could share. Great taste especially the Calamari and meatballs. Service is great, you order and pay at the bar.

My favorite place to go grab some food in telford. The staff are lovely, the decor funky and the food hands down the best. Highly recommend the twisted chicken club sandwich.

Came here for a quick lunch with my three year old daughter On arrival plenty of clear tables and lots of staff busy serving customers and keeping everything spotlessly clean Used qr code at the table to order on my phone, very handy with a toddler! We had a lovely meal,we both are vegan and the food was fab. Plenty of options to choose from! Also ,it's really nice to have a great place to go eat and take your fluffy family member with you! Definitely recommend.

Very mediocre pannini, for £8 would of expected maybe a little side salad but nothing. Very poor. Won't be visiting again.

If you want something a little different this is worth a visit. There is an outdoor terrace if the weather allows or an interior that is a bit somber for a lunchtime. The menu is quite innovative with a range of sizes from small plates to larger portions. and prices are competitive. Order at the bar quoting your table number and the food will be brought promptly. There’s a container of chilled water on the bar for self service and on the day of our visit the staff were donating their tips and selling cakes in support of the Macmillan big coffee morning.

I recently made a visit to this amazing establishment and to say the least I was thoroughly impressed. The service was fast and friendly and all drinks and food I had ordered were amazing ( buttermilk chicken) I will be returning 👍

We did not eat here, although the menu looked interesting. Drinks were not great (Hofmeister Helle was flat and tasteless) and the lighting was too dark for 6pm. Generally it lacked atmosphere.

We came here for lunch with the family. The staff were friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere, the decor that had a rustic feel to it. Wide and varied selection of dishes for breakfast lunch and dinner with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. The food was tasty and the portions were slightly on the small side for the price. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Definitely worth another visit to sample more of the menu.

Arrange a business meeting in this place however due to the price of their drinks it'll be the last. 1 bottle of Heineken 0% alcohol, which is about 1/2 pint was over £4. (£8+ for a pint). When the same bottle costs about £1 in Asda, and the Novello Lounge will buy it even cheaper than Asda sell it for, they are ripping their customers off and then wonder why the place is empty most of the time.

The last time we were here, we endured breakfast with cold mushrooms and various luke warm elements between us. Deja vu, today cold mushrooms, luke warm sausage and beans. On leaving, we observed another plate with abandoned mushrooms. Never again, I'm afraid. Twice bitten twice shy.

Lovely place great interior in the heart of Telford and they do great cocktails that don't taste like pop..or watered down pre made rubbish.. 5 stars.

The food is good and the restaurant is a bit quirky. Good place to take kids.

An unusually styled restaurant in the centre of Telfords Southwater district. Has a country kitchen feel to it. Ordering is online via a menu accessed through a QR code. Food and drinks are delivered very promptly. Decent menu selection and all of our food was very good. Worth a visit if in the area.

The breakfast is so nice that we visit most weekends because we simply can't stay away! The staff are very nice people and the service and atmosphere is always great.

Good food at a reasonable price.

Excellent food served by lovely friendly staff. Great that it’s pet friendly so a lovely place to enjoy food and drink after a walk around the park. Lovely touch that it has its own pets corner where there is drinks bowls for water and a jar of biscuits for our furry friends.

Went for the vegetarian Biryani Bowl which was surprisingly good 👍

went for drinks as we were stying the hotel round the corner. was a lovely feel it was quirky. cocktails were delicious and we staggered back!!!

I haven’t been here for a while but sadly it’s not what it was. We only had a sandwich but it was average and overpriced. The serving staff left tables uncleared and dirty. It needs a good clean and bringing back up to what it was. Some of the staff need to smarten up as they were very scruffy!

Ok quality for prices. Milkshakes are nice and they do alternative milks so that's a bonus for vegans or people with intolerances. I had the chicken noodle salad which wasn't that nice if I'm honest ,it felt like I was eating a bowl of coleslaw with warm chicken so wasn't that great .

Staff and service was good had issues logging onto WiFi so had to order from the bar.

Such an amazing place, great atmosphere, staff are lovely and food is great, not had a bad meal yet.

Great place for a chilled Sunday afternoon, great food, friendly staff.

Popped in for a late brunch, as usual staff were friendly and upbeat (always makes a differance). Little thing to note, they always check for allergies and though we don't need to worry about them here, it's nice to know it's important to them. Atmosphere was pleasant and the food was really really good, clearly freshly made by someone who cares about presentation and quality. To boot it arrived much faster than anticipated meaning I got to enjoy it before hangry arrived lol. Contrary to some other reviews I think the prices are more than reasonable for the quality and service you get. My eggs with mushroom and spinach plus a pot of tea (at least 3 cups worth) was £10.50 approx. FYI I can also recommend the blueberry pancakes, they are yummy 😉 Thanks again for a lovely brunch, we will be back soon.

came for food with family yesterday afternoon. the coffee is beautiful, food was full of flavour, hot when arrived and all looked amazing. staff were so friendly and accommodating for my disabled mother. 10/10 :)

Nice shabby chic decor to this place, which I liked. Service was friendly and the food didn't take too long to arrive. Ordered everything on their app, which was handy. Food was tasty and not as greasy as I've found in other places. Comfortable place to relax. Next time, I might be more adventurous.

Have reviewed before in July 2021 on my first visit. Have been a few times since, and there is always a good choice for breakfast and lunch, though I've only been for lunch once. Therefore atmosphere a little quiet in the morning at breakfast.

Went in for breakfast on my birthday, staffs were helpful and welcoming. Busy even on a weekday morning. But god that horrid smell of dampness!!! Changed seats twice, but didn't make much of a difference. Don't even bother going anywhere close to a couch. I was nauseating sitting there waiting for my food. Food was okay. Won't be coming back anytime soon.
