Pre opening invite only but they allowed us in for drinks which was fab. Food coming out looked delicious. We had a pint of cider and a spritzer which cost £9 which is quite high but served in beautiful glasses. Staff were very attentive and polite. Definitely booking in for food when they open on the tenth to the public. Decor is tasteful and comfy. Originally gave 5 stars. February 15th 2025 We were taken to our table and given menus to look at. Nobody came to ask if we would like a drink for over 15 minutes. My son used to work in The Redhouse and this included training new members of staff; I asked him about this and he said absolutely not. Drinks arrived but mine had to be returned but it was soon sorted out. Our starters arrived. My partner had the popcorn chicken which looked vibrant and tasty which it was. I had the mozzarella balls in panko which were a little dull not only in looks but in taste too. The panko needs some seasoning and a little rocket to give it colour might be an idea. The pizzetta sauce was average, it lacked oomph. We both had burgers. I had the chicken burger 😞. It was greasy and sloppy, can't really say much more than that. The chunky chips were fine but needed longer in the fryer as they looked anaemic. My partner's brisket burger had loads of flavour, he ate every mouthful. We had onion rings on the side, once again, very greasy. I ate one and it was quite unpleasant. The charger mayo was delicious. I'm hoping it was just a bad night as we have eaten in The Redhouse many times and at many of the sister restaurants. The staff are helpful and very pleasant. We had to ask for more drinks ourselves, we were not asked if we would like more. Upselling is key surely and attention to detail no matter how busy you are! There were plenty of staff on to cover their sections adequately so attention to detail should have been there. The background music was questionable but it was not too loud, that's just personal taste. It was exceptionally busy, felt a bit chaotic. Maybe I am being picky but my point is that we work hard so that we can go out and have good food and drink but to part with over £90 for a very average meal hurts a little.

The food was very nice indeed, the pub is also very nice and the staff attentive. However, starters at £11 each is very expensive and wine cannot be sold by a large glass measure 🤔 which made it a very expensive meal. That said it's a very nice menu and we love dining at The Red house.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Red House the day before Valentine's Day, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience! From the moment we walked in, the smooth and effortless management was evident. Despite the bustling atmosphere, every guest was attended to with remarkable care and attention. It was truly impressive to witness such a well-coordinated team. The staff, full of energy and positivity, were not only efficient but also genuinely happy. Their laughter and camaraderie created a warm and inviting environment, making everyone feel at home. It felt like we were receiving VIP hospitality, which made our first visit even more special. A particular highlight was when the manager, Grace, checked in with us multiple times to ensure our satisfaction. Her personal touch made us feel valued, as if we were regulars rather than first-time guests. Grace and her team provided excellent recommendations that encouraged us to explore the menu further, and we were delighted with every dish we tried. The portion sizes were generous and healthy, making the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere in the restaurant is absolutely delightful. The positive spirit of the staff was infectious, and when they sang "Happy Birthday" to my partner, the whole restaurant joined in, culminating in a heartfelt round of applause. It was a beautiful moment that truly encapsulated the essence of the experience. Overall, our visit was incredibly enjoyable and wholesome. We’ve undoubtedly found our new favorite place to dine, and we are immensely grateful to Grace and her wonderful team for making our early Valentine’s celebration as memorable as our very first. Highly recommend The Red House for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

We had a fantastic meal at the Red House recently. Our waiter Ollie WJ was attentive, polite and so helpful. We will be sure to return next time we are in the area!

I wanted to take my wife out for Valentine’s dinner and heard a lot about The Red House from friends. So 14th Feb 2025 i had booked a table. In entry we were met by front of house and asked to take a drink at bar while table is being prepared. The bar person mixed my wife’s cocktail and didn’t just shake once or they’ve but spent a good minute doing it . Again presentation was excellent. This tells me he takes pride in the job. He is a credit to you . And I told him so . Pics attached . Then we were escorted to our table . There were balloons on table. Our waiter Cam introduced himself and we ordered . Straight away we could tell the professionalism and leadership he had as he engaged with us and got to know us. We had 3 courses and I have to say now they were tremendous. Pics attached . Wife had sharing platter of chicken hallumi curry sausage type with me and then Pork Belly main . I had sharing and Chili prawn linguine and side of garlic bread. Pudding wife was choice of ice cream. Mine was Apple Crumble with clotted cream ice cream. You know, some waiting staff say right what would you like, thank you and go ? Not here ! Overall it was a really lovely night and we were made to feel at ease and valued. Cam needs to be commended. I had a bottle of wine and was brought in a bucket on a stand, he poured a taster sip for me and when accepted, he poured my wife’s first and then me. Everyone from front of house , waiting staff and kitchens made our night so special and I cannot rate this any higher. 10 out of 10 Red House . We will be back . Chris Woodman

We always love coming to The Red House. We can guarantee that the food will be great as will the service. There is also plenty of room and you don't feel overcrowded.

My partner and I went here on Valentine’s Day. The food was incredible and service was extremely friendly and fast, even with how busy it was! It was one of, if not the best, steak I have had. It was a great experience and we are excited to go back.

I had a really nice meal with my mum and dad recently. I've been before a couple times and it's always been great. I was served by Henrique and he always takes the time to chat with my family and is so professional as our server for the evenings we've had him.

We booked the Red House for my birthday meal with family members. When we got there we were told that the vegetarian main option was no longer available as they had ran out of the ingredients. I was very disappointed with it being a special occasion. The meal I ended up with was a Caesar salad (Taking off the bacon and anchovies) and fries for my birthday meal, But still charging the same price for a full salad.. All other meals were really nice by the meat eaters in the family. Disappointing from the birthday girl.

My friend and I meet here every couple of months for lunch because the food is always consistently amazing. We really like the atmosphere too, especially in the summer. Today we were served by Cam who provided a very good service and made sure everything was ok.

Really good meal and atmosphere! We have lovely drinks, food and service. The popcorn chicken is a stand out for starters. All food was hot and tasty and service was fast and professional. We had the lovely Shannon who was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and kept checking in with us. The staff brought out a lovely birthday surprise dessert with a sparkler in for one of our parties which was a lovely thing for them to do. Highly recommend a visit, we will be back

First time here, won't be going again, disfunctional staff didn't seem to know what was going on without asking someone else, ordered drinks didn't get them for about fifteen mins after having to to ask where they were, starter was ok, main chicken pie was dry, chips were barely warm and tasted warmed up veg had the texture of plastic.Staff started clearing plates while one in the group was still eating. Had many better meals in cafes for less the half the price here, very expensive for poor quality food.

Bottomless brunch was brilliant, couldn't fault ollie, paige or henrique. All throughly looked after our group, couldn't appreciate it more. Thank you so much folks!

Took 45 minutes to get our starters, another 45 minutes for our main meals. Wrong drinks delivered, wrong starter sent. Waitress was lovely though and food was nice.

We keep going back to taste the delights of this place that includes both the food and the service. Too numerous to review every time but can highly recommend. We had booked our favourite table for us near the front door and behind the till. We settled into our Table. The Food was delicious. We had a a fabulous roast dinner and the toffee apple crumble with ice cream was sublime. Thank you Manager and Staff you are one in a million.

My first visit to the Red House for many years but it certainly won’t be my last!. The staff were very efficient and friendly and the food was delicious. All in all a lovely evening.

First time here cannot fault the decor and atmosphere or service however the food was a huge let down, veg was raw and cold, Roast potatoes were rock hard and the Yorkshire pudding was dry very disappointing considering the price best part for me was the dessert and that was over priced. Our bill was over £130 for 4 people. Won't be a returning customer.

Absolutely delicious food with a great choice of different foods.

The place was full when we arrived but we had pre-booked so had the last table. Service was very slow, clearly not enough staff to cope with the number of diners. My daughter asked about the description of a sauce on a chicken dish and was told that it was a tasty flavouring. She could not eat it as it was very hot (spicy) and had to ask for one without the sauce. Staff were quick to replace it and deducted it from the bill. Some days later I discovered my credit card had been charged twice. When I went back, the duty manager put a credit through while I waited and all was well, however, taking everything into account I would hesitate to go back there.

Never had a bad meal here but unfortunately on this occasion one meal had to be sent back as it was overcooked (burnt in places ) and looked and tasted awful .It was dealt with well by the server and a new one was brought out which was slightly better .It spoilt our experience as we had to eat separately which was pointed out when we were asked .To be fair the price of the one meal was knocked off the bill but sad that the chef would feel it was ok to send out a clearly overcooked meal .My husband's meal was ok but not the best .Never sent food back before

Friendly service as always. Great choice of starters and mains all at competitive prices. Not too much for us veggies though.

We went for a family New Years Eve Meal with 4 adults and 4 kids. The service was excellent, very nice and pleasant staff. The food was quite quick to come, considering how busy they were. The meals themselves were could not complain about was very tasty.

First visit will not be the last well appointed venue for people of all abilities comfortable seating great friendly service no long waiting times even when obviously very busy and most importantly excellent food and drink 5 stars doesn't do it justice

We regularly dine/drink at the Red House. The food is excellent and on the odd occasion we have had any problems they have been rectified quickly by the staff. There is always a great atmosphere and the staff are professional, friendly and very polite.

Absolutely amazing. Kenan was very accommodating and attentive. The food was fabulous, we had a sharing board to start which the prawns were very tasty along with the crispy beef which was great. My steak was cooked to perfection and my partner thoroughly enjoyed the cod. Only downside is it took over 30 minutes to receive our first drinks but besides that everything was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service and delicious food served in a delightful restaurant. Service was superb right from entering the building to being served by Matt and supported by wonderful staff.

One of our favourite places to go to, we always know our food will be delicious! Our server Holly was fantastic. She had great knowledge of the beer selection and recommended a couple of dishes to try, and she was right - they were delicious! Will always recommend to friends and family, and will of course return soon!

This is one of the best restauraunts, bar and all round venue. Ever! I live in Manchester and visit my partner and family and love coming here SOOOO much. We had the bottomless brunch today and Leah made our experience THE BEST night in a long time.

Great place to go and eat. Went there for my mums birthday and did feel like a high level place to be, so really impressed. The waiter with the xmas baubles in his beard did a top level job!

We had a really lovely family Christmas meal here last weekend. Our experience started with a warm welcome from happy smiling staff. Holly was our waitress and she looks after us and put up with our questions, delays and changes of mind, whilst keeping a lovely smile throughout. She was well supported by her colleagues who were all polite, helpful and cheerful. The food was excellent, with all 3 courses, including a fabulous Christmas Turkey main, absolutely spot on. Thank you Holly and all of your colleagues.

One thing people do not want to do when they have an allergy is scan a BAR CODE in order to sort it out themselves. In my opinion and probably the opinion of many other people, if we're going to pay the sort of prices that the RED HOUSE charges then the chef should be sorting it out for us. Another thing is not being able to have a certain dish on the menu because the chef can't be bothered to make a different sauce to go with the order to suit the allergy. This is probably because the food is mainly bought in and making a different sauce is inconvenient. Apart from that the restaurant decor and atmosphere i found very appealing and the staff friendly.

The food and decor are top notch, service was slow but overall good

Simple changes were all that would have been needed to make this a lot better When asked how the starter was I pointed out the "Asian slaw" was literally just red cabbage, nothing else (Hoi sin duck). I was just looked at, no comments, no acknowledgement or apology or I'll speak to the chef. When the bill came, approx £140 Inc service charge the first 2 of us to pay (splitting equally) were charged over £50. We pointed this out but it wasn't possible to refund us but the other 2 guys in the group were charged £20 each Bonkers We were then asked to sit tight whilst our server went to check with the boss we'd paid enough - we'd paid the full amount just not equally

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The customer service was appalling—staff were not only argumentative with us but also openly discussed us with another table and other staff members due to a mistake on their part. This happened despite our patience and understanding regarding their pricing issue.

Went for breakfast with my husband. He had full English which he said wa s eye good but he’d liked the option of white toast as he doesn’t like the seeded given. I have eggs Benedict without the ham as in veggie and there was no option for eggs florentine. I also had the granola which was very nice. Coffees were good and the waitress was lovely. Will come again.

The restaurant was really busy as it was the week end before Christmas but we were well looked after by the manager and our confident and engaging waiter Ollie. The food was very good and we would recommend coming here if you are staying in or around Lilleshall.

This is the second time that the red house just hasn’t quite met expectations. When discussing this with friends, I’m hearing this from several others. The food was delicious. Great choice available. We were both delighted with our selections. The atmosphere, lighting, decor, real fire was fabulous. The Prosecco and Chardonnay were top quality. Service wasn’t what I would expect. We were walk ins and so went straight to tables in the bar as we had a dog with us. We said hello to the barman as we walked past. No one came to see us, so I walked to main restaurant to get server attention. We ordered drinks and food - drinks took longer than expected to arrive, we also asked for a jug of water; this didn’t arrive so we had to ask again when food came. After our meal no-one came to see if we would like another drink and again we had to go to main restaurant to ask a server for more drinks. I pointed out at the very start that we were celebrating my birthday ( disappointing that nothing made of this). This was an £82 lunch , disappointing that the service wasn’t tip top. With a new restaurant opening nearby aimed at the same market, the Red House may benefit from ensuring local customers leave feeling valued. We did not.
