Always a great welcome, great staff & fabulous food. We're always well looked after here & know the quality of the food is consistently great. This is our favourite Indian restaurant in Shropshire. K&G

After a long week at work and feeling a bit run down I'd left a request on my order for someone to draw a smiley face on the bag. Not only did I get 100 smiley faces on my bag I also got a sweet message and some poppadoms from Kimmy. What a treat and deffinatly gave me a giggle! The delivery driver thought it was funny too! ☺️ Delicious food as always! Thanks guys, made a girls weekend.

I was absolutely disappointed in the standard of food received on this order. The naan bread was under done and doey. The curry was very watery and tasteless even the chips were a little undercooked. last time we ordered the food was great. Which is why we ordered from there again. I shall give them one last chance for a order if there is no improvement then I will find a better place to order from and take all my other friends who give them custom away.

I ordered the chicken korma and rice for my son as unfortunately it went straight in the bin. The curry was inedible. I tried it too and it was abysmal, tasted like a cheap ready meal. The chicken was like heated ready eat pieces

Birthday party for my sister. party of 30. All served to an amazing standard no issues whatsoever. Food amazing service amazing could not fault. Highly recommend

After nearly 7 years as a loyal customer, today was the last time I ordered from you. I always get vegetarian, but when I picked up my order, nobody mentioned anything unusual. At home, I two boxes with fish rice and fish, which I gave to my neighbour, and extra naan bread. Later, I noticed “K.Naan” written on the backside of the naan bread bag and realized I had eaten a lamb minced naan instead of the garlic naan I ordered. This oversight broke my trust, and sadly, I won’t be ordering again.

Unbelievably good food. First Indian I have had in the Telford area and I won’t go anywhere else in the future. Thank you guys.

Amazing service from ordering to the delivery as when it got delivered the gentleman was so polite and very good customer service, I will continue to use this place and recommend it to others.

Worst curry EVER. Found a random glazed dessert cherry in my korma, was given the wrong drink, chicken tasted microwaved, korma sauce was watery, portions were small and too expensive. Wouldn’t be mad about the price if the food was actually good, but this was diabolically disgusting and disappointing. Won’t be ordering from here again! Hoping I get a refund for this! yuck 😓😓

We went here for a takeaway. The food was delicious. We both had chicken tika balti with pelau rice. The spicies were just right we enjoyed it very much. I wish I lived closer it would definitely be my favourite place to go to. The chap who served us on Monday 23rd was extremely helpful and friendly.

Wish I had read other reviews before ordering the Korma was absolutely vile with no Flavour and these weird bits in. I think anyone can cook a korma I am really not sure how they got it so wrong

Order was late by 15 mins despite ordering for a specific time. Wrong type of meat in the curry and the wrong naan bread. Really disappointed. I love this curry house but I won’t be ordering from here again.

watery tasteless unedible main dishes

ordered shortly after the restaurant opened, notification saying enjoy your food when it hadn't even been delivered so could not track. Quality was not great. won't use again.

it wasn't too bad in ways however I found the Vegetable samosas was far too greasey- apart from that little bit all was amazing & will continue to order from here as the drivers always great you with high levels of customer service.

Perfectly cooked, flavoursome food, which arrived quickly with a choice of dipping sauces. Great service from the team, nice cocktails and fairly priced. Servings are large and tasty. I'll definitely be visiting again.

Once again, an impeccable meal combined with faultless service, made this evening with visiting family so memorable. They were really impressed with the flavoursome curries and the selection of pickles supplied with the poppadoms, better than their local restaurant was their departing comment. The proprietor takes pride in the service of the staff and is extremely attentive and friendly.

only problem was I order cheesy keema nan and got a cheesy nan, have reported it.

We wasn’t overly impressed with the flavour of our chicken tikka balti. Far too sweet and lacked any real flavour that we are normally use to tasting from a balti, just far too bland. Chips were sweaty and too soft. Keema naan wasn’t the best and was too dry. We won’t order this dish again.

Absolutely top shelf. We were on holiday close-by from glasgow and found Taj Mahal on just eat. We ordered for collection but had no idea it was a 40 minit drive away. I'm so glad we had already paid for it because it's one of the best I've had yet. We had a welcome second to none, and the owner threw in some bits and pieces to keep us going for the drive back to the house. 10/10 all round, thanks guys x

quality of food was disappointing, dupiaza was full of shredded undercooked onions rather than nice pettles, ordered a garlic and chilli naan got a coriander nann, rice was average. chicken puree starter was very nice and came with nice fresh salad. delivery was excellent.

Chicken tikka masala had zero flavour. How does something so vibrant have no flavour? Garlic nann was plain, not a garlic nann. Garlic fried rice was dull.

We're not regular curry house visitors but whenever we do out to curry it's here: Taj Mahal. Never a bad curry and it's in my top 5 curry houses in the UK. Brilliant chefs, courteous and polite waiting staff and the owner is a lovely guy. Recommended. 07/06/24: came out for an unplanned meal out with my wife and we worked out that we've been coming since sometime in early 2008,not long after we'd moved to Telford from Manchester. So, 15 years after our first visit - we keep going back. Wonderful staff, a lovely owner, and exquisite food! Still recommended.

Food arrived cold, tikka balti had no spice at all, the only flavours I got was the mint put on top of the curry (this isn't something needed on a balti) and an incredibly unpleasent soapy taste from the onions. Very disappointed

Dined here for the second time, some 4 years after our last visit. Quality of food and service is excellent, we were in a large party and food arrived quickly and to everyone's satisfaction. We even took dessert home with us.

Probably one of the worst curries I have ever had. partner said it was the blandest curries he's ever had. Ordered 2 curries, 1 was completely tasteless and other tasted like onions. Nan breads were dry, samosas were extremely oily. would not recommend

One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in a long while! My husband and I visited last month and honestly can’t fault anything about it! Fabulous food. Fabulous service! Great atmosphere! Wish we lived closer as that would be iur place to go. Roger was the perfect host!

Originally delivered to the wrong address due to me selecting the wrong address however the drivers still came to the address I was ment to select with no extra charge and it was much appreciated, food was also great, highly recommend.

Food is ok, but I advise you to never, ever give these people your phone number as they spam you with text messages/offers. It seems they also share your details with third parties as another Indian place in the area I’ve never been to has been sending me messages/ads as well. Unacceptable.

Firstly... I hate giving bad reviews... but I have to be honest.. Awful Food!! Shocked at such a high 4.4 rating on Google... It's definitely not accurate! If you can't get Dhal right then something is definitely wrong. Spent over £30 to get home and be disappointed from having food laced with big chunky onions, garlic, seasonings that don't blend/belong in the food at all!! It was REALLY BAD! My Garlic rice wasn't even fried and the whole food tasted bland and lacking salt... Even the naan was questionable. Nonetheless...Staff appeared polite on the phone which is why I have rated the service highly! But that's literally where it stops! Which is sad as it's a nice building but clearly poor quality of food!

Absolutely discouraging towards Indian cuisine, I ordered a chicken tikka masala and it tasted no better then a bottle of oil, the contents of the plastic tub was 90% oil, absolutely zero taste whatsoever, chips was not cooked enough honestly just a joke, don’t be fooled by all the suits and bow ties the waiters wear, it’s clear they have gone for looks over quality of the food

Had a lovely meal with friends here. Food was delicious and service was great.

Went here on a busy Saturday, early evening, we hadn't booked but after a short wait we were accommodated. We were looked after by Kameel who was polite, friendly and fun, nothing too much trouble for him. The food was excellent, tastyand hot. We were regularly checked on to see if we needed anything. There were five in our group and we all had a great evening. Would highly recommend the Taj Mahal, Roger and his team.

Lovely food, and great service, particularly Kameel, who went above and beyond - brilliant. Had the chicken tikka puree to start, delicious, and the lamb pathia was on another level. No hesitation in recommending this restaurant for a great meal out.

Our first visit to Taj Mahal, long overdue! What a great welcome from a very friendly team. We were looked after from the moment we arrived and were given time (and advice) to make our food choices. Each course was brought to the table with a smile and we thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken Multani and the Chicken Tikka Korma. The main and rice portions are generous so we may order a little less next time but we still managed to squeeze in some ice cream! The Shiraz and Cobra went down well and even paying our bill was a positive experience with a generous 'thank you' from the busy barman. Already looking forward to our next visit...

The food here is totally superb and the service is the best (thanks Kameel you're a legend). Had an amazing evening thank you so much. Don't go anywhere else.... Tah Mahal is the best.

Hmmmm, jacket potato with curry - bit stodgy and not much meat. It was ok but won’t have it again.

Ordered a takeaway on Uber, promptly arrived, pleasant driver, that’s where the good review ended, the chips weren’t cooked, the veg curry side was bland, the tikka biriani had no taste and the masala looked radioactive, there was so much food colouring in it, it was red and gloopy, this was a first takeaway from here and unfortunately the last.

It tastes as if was Walter down the meet was ok but the source was rancid
