Chicken tikka masala was more like a sweet and sour sauce with no hint of spice, keema naan wasn’t very nice.

Ordered for our anniversary meal and was lovely lots of flavour hot and fresh no complaints, called after ordered as we forgot chips and they added them onto our order free amazing customer service delivered on time with friendly driver we will definitely be ordering again :)

My other orders from here have been ok so I was looking forward to this. Delivery came early which wasn't a problem. The delivery guy seemed nice enough though very quiet and awkward. Naan was ok, chips were sweaty, the pilau rice wasn't too bad however the Korma was absolutely vile. It was so so pale and smelt like sage and onion stuffing which was so off putting. It tasted revolting. The chicken was awful too, some pieces had pink bits and some were rock hard. It was horrendous. Money wasted.

Very bland and completely tasteless on both dishes on the upside lots of prawns in prawn cocktail downsides so bland I couldn’t eat it my dogs ate like queens tonight also forgot the papadoms yet packed the sauce ect

Awful! Chicken Korma was like pea soup, cold, watery and flavourless! Never had a Naan bread or curry with glacier cherries in but it’s absolutely filled with the things! Bhaji was like an uncooked pancake and had nothing going for it just bland and cold. Proper ruined the evening and wished we had ordered elsewhere, everything just seemed to thinned out to make it go further. I don’t mind paying for food but when you get subpar scraps it really makes you wonder what’s point

Lamb dhansak flavourless. No one in house ate it. No free popadom or dip which I have had from most other take aways.

Booked for a very large group for a Sunday night before Christmas. We were running late. Phoned ahead to apologise & was assured it wasn't a problem. Everyone's food was great, all came out pretty much together & the staff were amazing.

Lack luster - we ordered two completely different curries but they tasted the same. The cheese naan’s had barely any cheese. Really disappointing.

We have been to the Taj Mahal several times over the years and have had an excellent experience every single time we have been there. The food is superb and excellent value for money and the staff are fantastic. I have no hesitation in recommending the Taj Mahal.

Entire family caught gastroenteritis after eating the rancid food from this place…except one who went to McDonald’s

We ordered an Indian for delivery. We thought it was quite overpriced but we never mind paying for quality food. This however, was not the case. The curry was not made with cream and butter as advertised, instead we had water running off the plate and the curry looked and smelt like a watery onion soup. Poppadoms and naan bread were fine. Rice - overpriced. Currys, didn't get eaten and sadly got thrown in the bin which is an awful shame as we hate wasting food, but this was inedible. We paid for the privalige but will not be ordering from here again. We were left hungry and had to order elsewhere. Would not recommend.

Worst curry I've ever had in my life. Couldn't eat it, it tasted liked watery onion soup and there was water running off the plate? I could have made one better myself! Paid £40 for the privalige....avoid avoid avoid!

Very disappointed with food tonight was really looking forward to it after a busy week. Ordered earlier in day it arrived on time and was piping hot. Unfortunately the korma was watery there was nothing tasty about it. It’s not a cheap meal and to receive substandard food is disappointing. Sadly I will take my money elsewhere.

Food delivered cold, chicken masala tasted weird and nothing like a masala having eaten plenty over the years. Chips were soggy, only decent-ish item was the popadoms and even they were soggy too

After a long week at work and feeling a bit run down I'd left a request on my order for someone to draw a smiley face on the bag. Not only did I get 100 smiley faces on my bag I also got a sweet message and some poppadoms from Kimmy. What a treat and deffinatly gave me a giggle! The delivery driver thought it was funny too! ☺️ Delicious food as always! Thanks guys, made a girls weekend.

I was absolutely disappointed in the standard of food received on this order. The naan bread was under done and doey. The curry was very watery and tasteless even the chips were a little undercooked. last time we ordered the food was great. Which is why we ordered from there again. I shall give them one last chance for a order if there is no improvement then I will find a better place to order from and take all my other friends who give them custom away.

After nearly 7 years as a loyal customer, today was the last time I ordered from you. I always get vegetarian, but when I picked up my order, nobody mentioned anything unusual. At home, I two boxes with fish rice and fish, which I gave to my neighbour, and extra naan bread. Later, I noticed “K.Naan” written on the backside of the naan bread bag and realized I had eaten a lamb minced naan instead of the garlic naan I ordered. This oversight broke my trust, and sadly, I won’t be ordering again.

Unbelievably good food. First Indian I have had in the Telford area and I won’t go anywhere else in the future. Thank you guys.

Worst curry EVER. Found a random glazed dessert cherry in my korma, was given the wrong drink, chicken tasted microwaved, korma sauce was watery, portions were small and too expensive. Wouldn’t be mad about the price if the food was actually good, but this was diabolically disgusting and disappointing. Won’t be ordering from here again! Hoping I get a refund for this! yuck 😓😓

We went here for a takeaway. The food was delicious. We both had chicken tika balti with pelau rice. The spicies were just right we enjoyed it very much. I wish I lived closer it would definitely be my favourite place to go to. The chap who served us on Monday 23rd was extremely helpful and friendly.

it wasn't too bad in ways however I found the Vegetable samosas was far too greasey- apart from that little bit all was amazing & will continue to order from here as the drivers always great you with high levels of customer service.

Once again, an impeccable meal combined with faultless service, made this evening with visiting family so memorable. They were really impressed with the flavoursome curries and the selection of pickles supplied with the poppadoms, better than their local restaurant was their departing comment. The proprietor takes pride in the service of the staff and is extremely attentive and friendly.

only problem was I order cheesy keema nan and got a cheesy nan, have reported it.

We wasn’t overly impressed with the flavour of our chicken tikka balti. Far too sweet and lacked any real flavour that we are normally use to tasting from a balti, just far too bland. Chips were sweaty and too soft. Keema naan wasn’t the best and was too dry. We won’t order this dish again.

Absolutely top shelf. We were on holiday close-by from glasgow and found Taj Mahal on just eat. We ordered for collection but had no idea it was a 40 minit drive away. I'm so glad we had already paid for it because it's one of the best I've had yet. We had a welcome second to none, and the owner threw in some bits and pieces to keep us going for the drive back to the house. 10/10 all round, thanks guys x

quality of food was disappointing, dupiaza was full of shredded undercooked onions rather than nice pettles, ordered a garlic and chilli naan got a coriander nann, rice was average. chicken puree starter was very nice and came with nice fresh salad. delivery was excellent.

Chicken tikka masala had zero flavour. How does something so vibrant have no flavour? Garlic nann was plain, not a garlic nann. Garlic fried rice was dull.

We're not regular curry house visitors but whenever we do out to curry it's here: Taj Mahal. Never a bad curry and it's in my top 5 curry houses in the UK. Brilliant chefs, courteous and polite waiting staff and the owner is a lovely guy. Recommended. 07/06/24: came out for an unplanned meal out with my wife and we worked out that we've been coming since sometime in early 2008,not long after we'd moved to Telford from Manchester. So, 15 years after our first visit - we keep going back. Wonderful staff, a lovely owner, and exquisite food! Still recommended.

Food arrived cold, tikka balti had no spice at all, the only flavours I got was the mint put on top of the curry (this isn't something needed on a balti) and an incredibly unpleasent soapy taste from the onions. Very disappointed

Dined here for the second time, some 4 years after our last visit. Quality of food and service is excellent, we were in a large party and food arrived quickly and to everyone's satisfaction. We even took dessert home with us.

Probably one of the worst curries I have ever had. partner said it was the blandest curries he's ever had. Ordered 2 curries, 1 was completely tasteless and other tasted like onions. Nan breads were dry, samosas were extremely oily. would not recommend
