Was very nice although I ordered rice and ended up with. Chips instead still nice evening meal

they labelled the food wrongly so we got half way through before realising we were eating each other's wraps, still nice though

Food was absolutely awful and tasteless. Meat looked stale. Very small portions for a dish that is advertised for 2 persons. Some of the meats tasted off. I didn’t eat any of it as I was scared of getting food poisoning. I will not order from here again.

First time trying this place after a recommendation.. and I’ll definitely be going back.. This is Proper authentic Turkish bbq. Charcoal grilled meat cooked perfectly, fluffy rice, fresh homemade sauces and a bread I’ve never before had that was wonderful. Highly recommended.

Had phone call from here from somebody claiming to be three customer services. Number showed up on my phone as Mangal Turkish BBQ Telford but they guy said he was from three.

Delivery time was really long ordered at 8-15 and it came at 10pm even rang to see if could get any earlier but was no answer. Food is always amazing

As a first time buyer, was not impressed at all. The chips were old and oily. Calamari was ok but the batter was all dried out and very hard to bite. Halloumi, 2 out of the 5 pieces were burnt on one side. The chicken was all the outer skin, it was like chicken skin. Didn’t get any of the tender chicken. Not sure if I will order again. I was expecting a high quality takeaway at the prices they charge.

Bought the smalll kofta kebab, at the take away. On Google it's advertised as a restaurant. That was a letdown. We were told once we ordered that the price had gone up! We had ordered the small portion of meal but didn't realise it means u only get 1 piece of kofte . Where ever ive eaten, including london , I've paid £10-£11 for 2 kofta kebabs. And this portion felt remarkably small. Whilst the rice portion was ample tasted delicious, it was also soft and moist. Unlike the kofta, which was chewy. For a takeaway it was packed really thoughtfully with the salad and bread packed separate for freshness. I felt cheated by the price, but on a Friday evening in Overton this was the best choice of 3 take aways that were open. Perhaps I'll do more research next time

we loved it! Great value for money. We had the mixed box for two and enjoyed the variety a lot. The wings and shawarma were our favourite. The lamb chops and pieces were a bit to tough and chewy for us to love, that would be our only complaint. The homemade garlic and chilli sauces were delicious. We will definitely order at Mangal again. Thank you!

Food never arrived after waiting more than 1 hour.

first time I have ordered from this restaurant and I was very pleased. The food was tasty and hot and arrived on time with a friendly driver. Deffo order again from here.

Waited over an hour for delivery then received a phone call to say they had no salmon. Ordered sea bass instead and told it would be 20mins. After 20mins we called to chase and was told they had no delivery drivers. Asked them to cancel our order and refund. Man on phone got extremely angry and told us to F off. No sign of our refund either. Disgusting service. We have been loyal customers for years but will not order from them ever again.

First time ordering lamb was tough chewy

I couldn't find a Lamb Beyti on the menu I really need to try one !! but as usual the food is spot on no complaints

Not great. No real flavour to the wraps and they were soggy on arrival, which took 90 minutes. Didn't really resemble an authentic shawarma compared to the food in German 'schnellies', or the Maroush on Edgware Road. Won't be ordering again.

1st time ordering and we were very happy. Ordered the platter for two. Everything was really flavoursome, our lamb chops were tough, however everything overall is worth it and would order again.

It was not bad, for priced and friendly staff. It filled a gap well

Paid for the large and looked like a children's portion. Half the size of all the images I've seen. Feel like I've been ripped off.

Joke of a place. Placed an order via just eat to pay with cash. Waited over 2 hours for food and even got a notification to say food was on way. Phoned for delivery update and told they not accepting cash orders today but didn't know how to cancel. Lady then hung up on husband when he asked why they didn't notify us. Wouldn't order from this place again

£32 tray of rice , rubbery lamb chops , bone only ribs , grilled veg from Sainsbury’s … very very expensive for what it is

Mangals is my #1 go to for Turkish takeaway. I ordered Mixed Grill #2 and my goodness the quality of food was impeccable!! Big hearty portions of mixed meat cooked to perfection on a bed of rice. And there's the new addition of grilled onions and red peppers that they ever used to be before just adds immense flavour to the dish. I thoroughly enjoyed my Friday night takeaway tonight. Big well done to the team at Mangals!

Family sharing platter not worth it. One piece of bread small salads chops extremely salty. Wouldn't recommend

Great food but the sharing platter I believe it's called used to be around 20 pounds plus delivery but seen on just eat tonight they are charging 36 pounds. Even with inflation, the meal is not 36 pounds worth of food, considering a large amount is rice.

So as a lad who works nationwide I know about quality takeaways, this place ticks the boxes. The lads were all real friendly and accommodating to our needs when ordering. The place smelt amazing and the options for food were great. Giving four stars as my kebab meat was extremely dry and very salty, and the chips were well below average. The bread thought was one of the best things I have tasted and my mate said his food was very good so you get four stars.

Undoubtedly the best takeaway in Telford. Worth visiting for the rice alone. Never had a bad meal

This place is my new local. The quality of the food here is incredible. Its always perfectly cooked and delivered promptly. If you're a fan of kebabs and haven't tried this place, you're missing out.

Really disappointed and I barely order takeout food so was looking forward to this. Love Turkish food but I ordered some the mixed grill for £12.99 and there was BARELY any meat but just a bed of rice really. £5 for mozzarella sticks and £5 delivery! £23 felt very steep indeed for below average food, and not very much if it either. Will not be returning as a customer.

First time order from this takeaway - very pleased with our meal! Special grill for 2! Amazing variety and flavours of meat 🍗🍖 🥩 salad in 2 little tubs to keep fresh Good portion for 2 people with some to spare! Yummy 😋 10% online discount basically cancels out delivery charge 👍🏼 We strategically placed the order at 4pm (before peak hours) and it arrived in less than 30mins. Driver was friendly and helpful 👍🏼

Food Quality was very good, Reason its not 4/5 is due to the delivery being stone cold on arrival and needing to be stuck in the microwave. I live less than half a mile away so should of walked but equally to receive cold was not ideal.

How can the same food order on 2 occasions vary so much??? 2 weeks ago we ordered lamachan, yogurtli chicken and shawarma kebab. THis was really superb. Tasty, beautifully presented in foil boxes with lovely salads and sauces. Tonight, the lamachan were tasteless, tough and undercooked. The kebab was served in a pizza box with rice falling out all over the place. The yogurtli chicken was SOOOOOO chili hot it was virtually indeible. And no salad or sauce. We will NOT be ordering from here again.

Would not recommend! This was the first time we were ordering from them. Delivery was too long(about an hour and a half). Disappointed with the portion size and overpriced in my opinion. Also they included rice in our order and we didn't ask for it. Would not order from them anymore.

Never failed to tingle the taste buds. Always a super special platter... Highly recommended. Latest.. Seems like standards are dropping as on a few occasions the special order is not always meeting the description. If there are no chops or ribs they don't always tell you and try to make up with other kebabs. I'd rather be told before I get home. I think the change of head chef has had a bearing whilst the new guys realise that good service is vital to keeping custom. Further Update - significant price increases for specials and platters dilute the desire for the food. As noted earlier, quality has dropped, portions smaller but prices increased. Please review if you want to keep regular customers.

Authentically prepared char grilled chicken and lamb. And they deliver. Tasty and miles better than the "kebab" your local chicken shop knocks out. Parking right outside our in the Oakengates théâtre car park. Recommended

Won't take card payments in store and with no cash machine in Oakengates this is an issue. Twice now missed items off the order. It's a shame because the food is good.

Delicious turkish food..freindly staff.

I had to try it for the first time. For a shawarma with some picked dried chicken and chips in a takeaway box and one piece of lettuce. That.s suppose to be the salad. The price is huge. I will not recommend to anyone to order large shawarma with chips and inexistent salad

Not bad, cooked fresh as waited 5 minutes when I arrived which I prefer, probably slightly over priced, i would have it again but not top of my list.

Horrible service. I tried to order via uber and had to call them to turn on the app. After they called me as they were in a hurry to do my order. When I placed my order called them to confirm it and they wouldn't talk to me properly and they were laughing. Then the manager talked to me and said he doesn't have a product and will not set fire for me for just another product and kept laughing. He even told me you an order from KFc and make a complaint I don't care. Will not order again. Too expensive and bad attitude.

The burgers are the best! I can really taste that they're cooked over charcoal flavouring the meat beautifully. Awesome burger! When what's delivered is wrong the staff have been very accommodating replacing the incorrect/missing item. My partner loves the Turkish BBQ! He orders from Mangals nearly every week.

Latest edit, the owners have changed and the chef's as well the food it's not like used to be "great", personally disappointed.

Food was ready quick. Received hot. Chicken just melted in my mouth. Bread is lush. One of the best meals I've had in a while. And there's enough left over for tomorrow. Can't recommend enough!

Lovely tasting food and charcoal grilled which I love. Just wish portion sizes were bigger. One thing I will say is the bread seemed stale though which isn't great.

£17 for 2 burgers that looked no more special than kebabye burgers and tasted the same... extremely overpriced I would not suggest getting burgers from here if your expectations are something a little different, the only thing diffrent was the extortionate prices very disappointing, how can they justify them prices .

Just got a takeaway for mangal Turkish BBQ and the food we ordered was amazing I had the adana kofte wrap and it was the best wrap I've had since I had one in Olu deniz Turkey. The children love the chicken nuggets and strips and u can at the time promised the foot was piping hot and I will be using the place again. Cant recommends mangal Turkish BBQ Enough . Very happy customer

Good takeaway for something a little different

I am a big fan of proper Turkish food and though one can find many in every English town and city but most of them are rubbish or not authentic Turkish. Was on a business trip in Telford and searched for halal food nearby and found this. Ordered grilled chicken wings meal (comes with rice, salad and fresh bread). It was delicious, fresh and healthy. Recommended...

I don’t know why anyone would complain here and I wouldn’t even listen to the small amount of people who do. Because these are the best services in Telford and deservemy praise. Only ever burnt my borek once but they were still delicious and the rest of my food platters shawarma is just out of this world. Portions are amazing and worth every penny. Will never complain.
